  1. Well which one do you think is the best? Because none of them are really cheap and at 6’6” I need a 37 1/2 “ length putter
    So what do you think?

  2. Yeah, you can't get it customized as far as lie angle like LAB, but you do that with LAB and you're looking at $600+. Brilliant by Odyssey to make these half that, so if somebody is curious about torque free putters, the barrier to entry is a heck of a lot more palatable for most golfers.

  3. Very good video. Would you consider reaching out to Odyssey with two questions.
    1) Can you change the grip without affecting the balance of the putter and 2) Can you make the head heavier with heavier weights without affecting the balance.
The reason I ask is because LAB individually weight each putter and so would adjusting some variable imbalance the 'square to square'.

  4. Gabe did you get a prototype or a review version or something because my headcover is nicer than that has the single flap and I actually like the grip, i think the putter feels great.

  5. Ordered my first upgraded putter last week the lab oz after playing with my beginner set strata putter for past 2 years. Putting been a strong point so excited to have something a bit nicer then what i use currently

  6. With all due respect, and I may be 100% wrong, I feel that even the lightest of grips will easily overcome any additional torque of a regular vs these putters.

  7. I’ll stick with my current face balanced putter which cost me half the price of an odyssey putter. I will wait until they drop in price as all brands will be making a version, and the price will be forced down by competition.

  8. They gave you the wrong head cover. The jail bird has a jail bird on it. I have that model too. The one they gave you is for the seven.

  9. Whatever happened to get fitted get fitted get fitted. I’ll tell you for me. There’s no place with 200 miles around me to get fitted. Maybe I make my own putter and sell it make it adjustable come up with something wacky type one if somebody wants me to come up with wacky and I’ll sell that damn thing.

  10. Loving the putter videos…. Selfishly as I’ve been looking to get a new putter; currently gaming a Cleveland Huntington.

I like the Jailbird but I can’t find any info on the alternative shafts on Odyssey’s site they offer for the S2S putters.

  11. This is putter of the year IMO. It shows that zero torque putters are a simpler and better design at a price for everyone. I have a Mezz Max which is staying in the bag because it's customized to my specs and it performs.

  12. It’s crazy I got rid of my mezz 1 max and I’m putting better with this jail bird putter. It doesn’t feel mass produced lol it’s just lighter than the super heavy lab putters. The tech is the same period because I had both putters. Big expensive brands are what yall like but odyssey has been number one putter in your for a reason. Rushed? They said they been working on these for 2 years lol try again

  13. I have an old Maltby Xtreme Moment putter from Lord knows how long ago that is center shafted with weights far back and to the extreme outside. Way before LAB was an idea this putter existed and it was and is ugly as sin but it worked better than anything I ever tried. Is it zero torque? I have no idea but it bears all the marks of a zero torque putter. These days ugly putters are everywhere an no one minds as long as you give it a trendy marketing twist or a bougie name and price tag. I do really like the jailbird putter but it doesn't work better than my old Maltby nor the Odyssey O-Works Marxman I bought several years ago. The Odyssey doesn't work better than the Maltby but it looks better and feels better. And it was the first putter since I bought the Maltby that matched it's performance. Nothing else has done so thus far since that purchase. I would say the Jailbird is about as good but if it's not better than why buy it?

  14. Looks like a half assed attempt to enter the “zero-torque” market. I’ll give it a generation or two. Meanwhile I’m ordering my Oz.1

  15. They gave you the wrong headcover. I have the Jailbird Square 2 Square and it has a center shaft Jailbird headcover like the normal Jailbirds have only to accept the center shaft.

  16. Regardless of the jazzy look in the high technology, funny enough there’s something to be said about simplicity, and from what I saw here you put it better with the Kirkland signature putter over a year ago. The tournaments that were one and the miraculous pets that were made over the last 30 years were with much last technology, then they put into this putter and you would have to think some of those wonderful putts that were made may have missed the cup if they had been using something like this. I don’t believe all the tech and gimmicks in putters and drivers. If it was all true with drivers, we’d be driving at 40 yards further than 5 years ago.
