It’s Time! For the next episode, the ‘Torq Moto Podcast Show’ driven by Talon, as Paul ‘Eddy’ Edmondson drops. Join hosts Jeffro Perrett and DocWob as they take a trip down memory lane with the 4x world champ, just one of Paul Ed’s achievements, and there is plenty more!

In the first of this two-part episode, Edmondson talks about his racing career, from Yorkshire to the midlands, and happy endings. The trio reminisce back to that golden era of the 90s/00s moto scene where, luckily, camera phones weren’t around, and the antics were prime YouTube content before it was even a thing! With it being the hosts’ favourite era and both on the circuit DocWob as his mechanic and Jeffro as a GP racer), there are stories in abundance, and yet another rental car story has left its mark to this day. Edmondson tells all about his move to the States, its impact on his career and home life, and why Jamie Dobb still has beef with him today over a particular race. The trio discuss a fuel testing incident, how racing different moto disciplines enhanced his career and why he is not a fan of snakes (you must hear the story). And that’s just episode one; a whole other life after racing is coming in episode two!

Episode one of the Paul Edmondson Torq Moto Podcast Show will air on YouTube on Thursday, November 28th, at 7 p.m. It will also be available on Spotify and Apple, where you can find all the previous episodes.

Be sure to like and subscribe, as there is plenty more Torq to come!

  1. Paul Eddy what a star and pioneer, Edmondson family a true offroad dynasty at least on par with Lampkin clan🤣 Future guests Neil Hudson, Rolls Noyce, Jem Whatley, Willie & Shaun Simpson, Crockstar, Trampas Parker, Dickie Dye, Greg Hanson, Rob Hooper, Jeff Leisk, Billy Liles

  2. Having lived through this era, riding with Ed (attempting to keep him in sight!) in the BEC and watching him go to the US, it was great to hear what it was like over there. Always shenanigans – forever thankful camera phones weren’t invented yet.
Ed is a proper UK legend. I remember after his first World Championship getting about a 10 second cameo on BBC Sports Personality, while yet another footballer won it. Love these chats 👍

  3. Great guy and always very welcoming and helpful at his events. Legend! Great episode, keep up the good work 👍
