Love the review. Those irons are definitely something I need to check out. Have you been speed training? 90 mph with a PW, 95 mph with a 7 iron, and a whopping 100 mph with a 4 iron!!! Damn bro your killing it!!! A solid 8-9 mph faster than me. I got to hit the gym this winter….

im better at woods and putting than iron play, but these are amazing. I could hit my stock shot, curve it the other way, rip a pulldraw extra, knock em down, and hit punch shots. one of the best irons ive ever hit and surprisingly forgiving!
The way CB irons are designed to look and feel like a blade, but have the forgiveness make them a no-brainer for most golfers. Really good review!

Really good review. I currently play 3-5 in p7mc and 6-pw in p7tw in project x 7.0 but spoke to my fitter today and really considering switching out to the cb if I can make the game easier then I want to. Just worried the top line will be too thick for my eye.
5500 rpm for the 7i Cb, why do you think it is that low considering your 95 mph club head speed? Is your attack angle very shallow? Wouldn't you want the spin higher than that? Classic 1000 rpm per iron number (ie. 6i @ 6000 rpm, 7i @ 7000 rpm etc) is a general rule of thumb. Same with the PW, that spin looked pretty low as well (~8000 rpm), about 600-800 rpm lower than the MB. Being as the MB numbers were a bit low too would probably point to generally being a lower spin player (shallow attack angle?) so maybe not a big deal. 4i spin numbers looked on target for both irons. Thoughts?
I have some old school R9 irons that are cavity back and there like 15 plus year old and they still go hard!!! Would love to try these….
