Adam, in your metrics can you access the search history of your subscribers?😮
Great tip about using the driver shaft to simulate a wall. Will give it a go in the morning.
Why can't you set the lead wrist "squared" & vertical at set-up or at least in the take-a-way ? keeping the lead wrist from rolling over, i.e., essentially vertical removes an extra thing to have to coordinate.
Best golf tip I’ve seen on YouTube
I've done these tips and it works.
Every morning I watch Porzak channel with a cup of coffee.
I love this Channel
Hi Adam, is there an online lesson? Is there a link for registration? Or can it be just a video I sent and you analyse where I made some mistakes?
Terima Kasih
Fr Indonesia 😂
You know, those wrists bones want to rotate fast, they're at the end of the chain. Let them.
Is this feeling/motion the same for Driver also?
Did you see the video of Rory saying all he is doing is setting his arm structure and turning to the top? He’s literally doing what you preach!!
@porzakgolf What about with driver? Hitting irons great with this, but now fighting duck hooks with the dog
I’ve been waiting this from you for a long time! Such good, clear instruction. Thank you, Adam!
This is a great video for the many that cast and I’ve seen this channel talk about it a lot, but I have a really hard time finding any instruction for someone like me who needs the opposite feels because I drag the handle way too long. I can get away with it with my irons great, but the handle drag destroys my driver / wood / hybrid play.
Would love to see this channel talk through the release from the opposite side for golfers like myself. I’m sure I’m not the only one that holds the angles way too long.
Hey Adam, whenever I setup with weight in balls of feet, athletic posture as you describe, I feel unbalanced toward the ball, and am forced to come out of posture mid downswing. Cam Sisk looks so extremely bent over, i don’t understand how he stays in posture. I only feel balanced with my butt further over my heels. Could you touch on that soon please?
Another great Video! Watching your videos and trying to feel what you say, already helped my swing a lot! Keep up your great work please. Best wishes from Germany.
I understand knuckles down but surely if you feel cupped in the golf swing that also puts a cup in the back right wrist and gives the same angle of attack as the bowed
Jimmy is a golf God, Jimmy thanks for not having Porzak having him have to teach you.
Have been following your instructional videos for about a year. This has been very helpful in putting it all together.
Great stuff. It’s after impact that I’m having the most trouble release/follow-thru wise currently. Any vids on that?
@porzakgolf another gem of a video! Does this also apply to the driver? Knuckles down? And is the release point at the same wall?
Can you give a lesson about side bending? That could be included in your arsenal. I would like to know about side bending from your explanation. Thank you.
Could you demonstrate how this doesn't contradict hammering the nail? It feels like i should throw hammering the nail out the window.
Would u say having the right knee getting to the ball first is a good feel im a 3 handicap i swear thats all i feel on the down swing as well as the palm to ceiling for a right hander great job👍⛳️💯
Could you do a video on what happens to the hands and arm structure after that? This was very helpful, thank you.
In order to get these positions, you have to assume you loaded the club properly
Good info, but can you do this with driver, woods, and hybrids as well?
So a "release " is actually not a release at all. Any other sport, release means flicking your wrist closed.
I like to get my hands and wrists into that position as quickly as possible in the back swing, and simply maintain the position in the down swing. If I try to actively close the club head in my downswing it drastically increases mishits, and I think even caused an injury in my trail hand just above the wrist. It does limit my release slightly, and probably reduces my max distance by 5 or so yards per club, but my consistency jumps dramatically.
This is a good channel.
The thing I continually don't understand about the left palm to the sky tip is why its needed. If we set up at address aimed at the target, our left palm isn't pointed to the sky. So why do we need to point it to the sky in the downswing to square the face?
I'm not saying the tip doesn't work, but it seems strange to me. Why do we have to do all this if we have the face pointed at the target before the club goes back?
Everyone is getting slower hanging on to the club and dragging…the whole just rotate if your in a good position is shit lol
