  1. Hey man, any thoughts on LAB putters? I know some people think they’re a gimmick. I do not. I agree with the physics. I’m new to golf so I have zero engrained habits with putting. My brain/body connection does not know what’s it’s like to resist the natural torque (opening and/or closing) of a putter since I was a kid. For those that have been putting since they were a kid, I could see them not wanting to go the LAB route. I did pick up a Mezz Max. Has helped me tremendously. I’m telling you, the putter does stay square to the path you put it on, but it must be fit to your lie angle.
Curious if you had any thoughts on this or if you’ve tried one out? (Ps- they have an outlet store attached to their website where they sell used putters. All you need to know if your lie angle and it’s maybe 1/2 price).

  2. Another great video. Really struggling with distancé controlé, but that little two minute tip you gave about being in university makes it a simple way to read the speed of the green.

  3. If you had of uploaded this video 3 weeks ago you would have saved me $200. This was the entire lesson. You're right nobody teaches you this. Golf instruction is full of little nuggets like this and as soon as it gets let out of the bag I notice that every youtube channel does a video on it as if the secrets out they may as well get some views on their videos.

  4. Wow! What a putting lesson! Thank you sir! If I could putt like that I think my 6.3 GHIN would go to a 1 or 2!!
Loved all the graphics and cars and strings and lasers etc! Really helps!
    Do another please!

  5. Tried this today and omg. This is unreal advice on green reading. Makes it so much easier to get close plus the odd one drops. Incredible

  6. Haha, the Cat got very intressed , when she saw the laser beam ! Haha. Ppl are sometimes alike.

    Great coaching. Including demonstrations.

Most pro coaches , including the most popular ones, miss demos, the proofs. That they can self execute alive the shots what they are teaching !!

Maybe they cant deliver. Or are afraid to show their true skills as a player. U just name them.

They compensate it with smart talk of finesses of golf , and amazingly ppl buy that!! With a pros more than 100.000 followers. Or more.

Here the case is different . Which approach you prefer?

  7. This and the video on shaping that ball with confidentiality are actually saving me money because I was going to a pro but after watching this I got so much better. Got under scratch for the first time ever because my par 3 performance is just way better after being able to shape the ball. We need to tip our Matty.

  8. Its a superb concept of break reading while putting. Keeping the face of the putter square to the target line is very difficult. How to be very consistent to keep putter face square. Thanks a million dear.

  9. A lot of people can see the break of a putt correctly, but try to roll the ball along that line.

An easy trick is to place an imaginary cup on the highest spot of the break that u see (66% approx of the way as Matty says), see the break to that spot, then putt to that imaginary cup. Especially useful for gauging correct pace on longer big breaking putts on fast greens.
