  1. The markings on the ball indicate it was a good strike of the ball, just a bad read of the break in the green which caused the ball to make a sharp right turn just after in came off the face. That much break that close to a hole on the final hole of the US Open is just the USGA’s way of reminding the players β€œwe’ve got you by the balls boys”.

  2. People are saying it was a miss read. It wasn't, and if you see it, he aimed enough left. He even had a good strike. Its because he had a little push, which made the putt fall right more

  3. That's a tough putt whether your a professional or not, it's easy for people to say he choked but they're not the ones under pressure. There are lots of different factors happening in that putt and different ways to play it. He just happened to miss it. I've had many similar putts to this, some successful, some not and I bet many saying he choked have too.

  4. That was no easy putt. If he putted it higher and it did not break he would have another three footer coming back. That ball turned sharply almost 90 degrees at the hole. No choke there. Maybe the other one.
