Impact happens way sooner than you think…at least at a conceptual level – You see impact itself is an event that lasts 4/10,0000ths of a second and the entire downswing happens in 2/10ths of a second. This means that any correction you need to make later in the downswing is likely to be ineffective as you don’t have time.

So said simply a player is more susceptible to error when they have adjustments to make late in the downswing as a result of errors earlier in the motion. If we can get the transition pieces correct we’re well on the way to great golf shots…SO we’re going to unpack the 3 keys to a great transition to set you up for the impact you dream of where you’re reducing the errors from poor position and limited time.

  1. Hey Cameron, I've been playing around with tip 3 and was wondering if another way to look at it or feel is that the hands/arms stay in front of the chest from the start of the downswing through impact?
