We check in with Ryan Divish of the Seattle Times for his weekly offseason look at the Mariners and other off the wall topics that Puck and Divish can come up with. Best tacos. Best bourbon. Struggling golf games and modern complaints of 40 year olds.
Divish gives his reaction to the John Stanton interview on Mariners.com. What didn’t he answer? Is there anything that Stanton could have said that would have appeased the Mariners fan base?
Puck and Divish lament how much damage the Mariners could have made in the playoffs because of the lack of really good starting pitching in the postseason. The Dodgers and Tigers (minus Skubal) have issues in their rotation. The Mariners team was built for the postseason, however, they are not built for the regular season.

The problem with saying you can't win in the postseason without pitching you also have to concede that you can't get into the postseason without a competent offense
mariners don’t deserve yall
Process stories about how journalists work are interesting but not to the point that they are separated from the story itself. I want to know about how the Mariners are going to get better players. But 90% of the Divish Show is about Divish.
If you work for Coke then you damn sure can’t say you prefer Pepsi. Probably a tougher line when you work for what the mariners have shoveled on the fans plate.
I quit watching the Mariner's around 2001. I saved myself 23 years of caring when it is clear the ownership and management don't care about winning or the fans.
Havre in the house.
