Liv Golfers should be able to wear what they want in any tournament.
SAS golf Simon smith is a top YouTubers for golf tech. He doesn't sell you stuff mostly all second hand advice and realistic on what most should be using rather than what marketing tells us to use.
Playing YouTuber
Jimmy Bullard on golf life has to be up there for entertainment and ability.
Correct. Wes, George and Grant make great content & 'The Cut' is an excellent series.
Great podcast. Very interesting thoughts on YouTubers, some of those mentioned I'm not aware of but will take a look. Maybe get a YouTube Golf Oscars going! For me Iona is up there with the way she interviews interesting people and gets the best out of them.
Has nobody played with alex from mottram hall he was +2 before turned pro ?
It's very obvious you don't follow Luke Kwon…his videos and golf destinations is way better than anybody else' videos…and he is arguably one of the best YouTube golfers (Bryson is on another level!)
Why not pick 3 teams…USA, Europe and International team…and you can use the irrelevant OWGR for your picks for these 3 teams. Then discuss how the LIV team will wipe the floor with all of those 3 teams…
2024 LIV team:
(1) Jon Rahm; (2) Joaquin Niemann; (3) Sergio Garcia; (4) Tyrrell Hatton; (5) Brooks Koepka; (6) Louis Oosthuizen; (7) Cameron Smith; (8) Bryson De Chambeau; (9) Dean Burmester; (10) Taylor Gooch; (11) Paul Casey; (12) Abraham Ancer.
Luke Kwon and most fun is Golf Girl Games
Jimmy Bullard is the best entertainment on youtube by a mile .
Also like Rick break 75 so honest and relatable
Assuming we exclude any YouTubers that have actually played a proper tour event, I’d say the best is Peter Finch from Golf Mates (ie the other Peter Finch). He plays off +4 and is very close to tour level at his best.
Golf mates and golf girl games for laugh out loud entertainment.
The best YouTube coach by far is Mike Malaska. Unlike every other YouTube coach, he genuinely understands why amateurs struggle at the game. He knows the concepts they need to learn to begin whereas every other coach teaches the same generic position based nonsense.
Don’t think Matt Wallace will make the Ryder cup team. Nowhere near good enough. Rai is a bit robotic. I don’t think he’s in euros best 12. The team will be similar to the last one
Coaching – I think you nailed #1. Danny Maude is great. I watch his videos every Saturday morning before I play.
Tech – I have a dark horse pick in AskGolfNut. I like his reviews because rather than just telling everyone a club is forgiving, he shows the efficiency and yardage drop offs from various misfits around the club face. If you’re into the data side of a review, he dives into the minutia of it pretty well.
Content Creation – I can’t believe Luke Kwon wasn’t mentioned. He’s done some amazing series, and he’s a great player to boot. He’s done video series in the Pacific NW, Tobacco Road, Hawaii, the Caribbean, Ryder Cup courses throughout Europe, some beautiful courses throughout New Zealand and Australia, and he’s currently in Switzerland. I don’t think there’s a content creator that’s bringing anywhere close to the beautiful scenery that he’s bringing, and he’s doing it all around the world. Hands down #1 for me and it’s not even close.
Golf life number 1
Bryson
Hovrat from Florida and Robinson from Lytham
Ron Chopper is a awesome aussie channel and also Taco golf NZ based
Feel like Jimmy Bullard deserves a shout on Golf Life for content. His matches against Ewen Ferguson and most recent one against Jason Steele are incredible to watch
That scorecard was pretty funny man
James Wiltshire especially when Flower makes an appearance
14:48 see this is what I love about golf! Regular players can’t get onto the MCG for cricket or Wembley for a kick around
But we can tee off at the home of golf!
No im not jealous at all!
Dan Grieve is the go to for YouTube content. Instructions and rounds of golf around Woburn. Excellent view on course management and club selection for each shot.
Chris Forsyth … he can do it all. Dan Grieve for short game , an absolute genius.
I would say most youtubers don’t know anymore anything more about tech then me. They are usually just reading the supplies information and not actually understanding it. Butch Harmon was great for coaching videos. More pars golf worth watching
Love beat the Pro that Pete Finch is doing currently!
Scratch Golf Academy has to be mentioned. I've never had a golf lesson before and have played 3 years now, and in my first season, I got down to a 3 handicap now sitting at 5, and I would say it's down to Adam bazalgette from scratch Golf Academy.
Am I the only one who thinks that the Fab 4 Golf should be a thing? Monthly videos with Matt, Pete, Andy & Rick.
This needs to happen.
