  1. Joe buck sucks and Phelps is boring , makes for a terrible interview, Phelps clearly spent more time in his own head swimming laps than interacting with humans

  2. He may not display them, or look at them, but it IS important to him or else, he wouldn't be storing it in a safe place somewhere.

  4. As a Phelps fan unlike these clowns in the comments he was being an asshole here he could had js said something vague bc he’s revealed it in the past multiple times such as in the 60 min documentary

  5. I mean even if he told us where they are, most of us would care less but someone else who’s watching just might try to get them somehow. Michael certainly doesn’t have to tell anyone where his well deserved medals are. Respect that.

  6. Crazy how many people are dogging on Phelps for this. Dude politely declines to answer a question he’s not obligated in any reasonable way to answer, and he’s the weird one; not the guy who can’t take no for an answer 3 times in a row

  7. I’ve won some international medals. Honestly not on his level. My best is a commonwealth gold. I’ve not looked at it in maybe 8-10 years. The medals are the reward. But the sense of achievement and the memories for you and your loved ones are the real reward

  8. The innocence on his face when he said that "they are in a spot only 3 people know about"… Even the greatest athletes have a chid in them

  9. Michael is a true Olympic legend and sweet, humble man who focuses on family and advocating for other advocates, not picking fights on SM.

  10. On the market they really are not worth that much, because an Olympic gold medal is 95% silver with the 5% of gold coating the medal. Suppose the medal weighs a pound, and silver at this moment goes for 280 dollars a pound, add the little amount of gold 50 dollars and the gold medal would sell for approximately 340 dollars on the precious metals market. Now throw in the fact that these medals were won by Michael Phelps a 340 dollar medal would very likely sell at an auction for 100"s of thousands of dollars.
