As the final week of fall camp comes to a close, and Ohio State football shifts their focus to their week one opponent Akron Zips, the hype continues to build around Ryan Day’s squad before they even step on the field. This 2024 Buckeye team has already been dubbed one of the best rosters of recent memory by countless media entities. Now, former Ohio State football coach Urban Meyer chimes in, calling this Buckeye team the best college football roster of the past decade, including his own 2015 squad that was riddled with NFL talent. WHAT FOUR TEAMS ARE GOING TO EARN BYES IN THE CFP THIS SEASON???
Is Courtney Smith still alive?
What no one is talking about – as always – is Sp Teams. Close games and that can become huge. We have talent obviously, but for OSU under two SpTeams HCs prior to Day, our SpTeams have been very avg. Is Fielding clutch? Will the new P be consistent? Will we finally use our great athletes and have a decent return game? No SpTeam coach – Tressel suggested to Day doing it by committee – will this do the trick?
What you said about Herby – add in Fowler — to a lesser degree maybe, but little dicktators who think they are better than others…
