Honestly I think there is only one elite qb currently. It's rare to only have 1 but all the qbs minus mahomes have multiple or major flaws. So mahomes is in tier 1 by himself and I'd put goff in 2nd or 3rd tier nobody really stands out. There's like 6 or 7 guys you could mix in that you could shuffle teams and it really wouldn't make much of a difference
And then the Goffphobics will say:
– Goff isn't elite but his OL and especially his Offensive Coordinator are elite, so they puffed up his stats
I used to watch ESPN and took what they said as sports gospel but now I realize it's just some machine to create hype, to spill out propaganda, and cause drama around sports' top stars to boost ratings. Jared Goff is going to have a monster year and prove these people wrong once again.

I personally wouldn't take anything a former QB says seriously whose only claims to fame are being the starter on the 1st team to ever go 0-16 and running the ball out of the back of the end zone while doing it. Goff is elite and will light up the NFL this season. I'm looking forward to it.

Orlovski was not a good Quarterback when he was a Detroit Lion, so what he says does not carry any weight.
I enjoy it when you break down the stats, I'm aware that Goff is easily a top 10 QB but not everyone is aware exactly what he has been cooking since 2022. He proved last season that regardless of stats he is a top 4 QB and when we gave him an extension I was ecstatic, there are at least 28 other teams that wish they had the capability and reliability that Goff provides our team. Dan Orlovsky has NO ROOM to talk about QBs at all!! He ran out of the back of the endzone at Minnesota in 2008 when we went 0-16! He WILL NEVER live that down!! I don't want to hear SHIT from Orlovsky!!! I would listen to Ryan Fitzpatrick before I EVER listen to Orlovsky!

Why do these dude have this infraction with Goff. He has been on good teams is his success. He is probably at best #10 in the NFL
Hate to say it but until the Lions consistently win games in a clutch for multiple years and win in crucial clutch moments and win multiple Superbowls, there will always be haters whether it be media, sportscasters, fellow SOL fans, or rival fans…but this is the year this is ALL going to change
Goff will get talked about a lot more in the future on media platforms across the board this season

Where is Pre-Snap Awareness on this list? Pretty important to read a D and understand where the ball should go. This is where Goff shines.
That's why St.Brown and LaPorta make quick adjustments to get open. Two years ago Goff led the league in 40 yard pass percentage.
Who led the league in touchdown to interception difference? In 22 it was Goff.
