I’ve seen what things look like before FedEx and UPS repackage them. This will be worse

If TSA decides to search that bag, the rain hood ain’t going back on.

Waiting for a Sky caddy?

My friend did that once. Clubs make the trip just fine.

Southwest gives you shit if you use a soft travel bag nevermind just a rain hood. Hope hes got some flex seal.

I did that once, but my clubs where 15 years old and I wanted a reason to buy new ones. They broke the one I wanted to keep: my putter.

I’m not proud of it, but I’ve done it. Stuffed my bag full of beach towels when I was a much younger man, everything came out fine.

Everyone here is missing the point. My man is looking for a new set, so he’s gonna insure the clubs knowing the airline is gonna destroy them then use the money to upgrade.

I’ve done this like ten times, but I weave and wrap some towels in and around the heads before putting the head cover on, and then tape it to the bag.

I had two friends do this. Theirs came out fine. Meanwhile my SBK case had a massive dent and had to be repaired.

Never gonna see the towel again, that’s for sure!

Perhaps he’s just playing it where it lies.

My guess they won’t damage the bag, protocol would be to crash the plane.

I’ve done it multiple times without issue

Well we don’t know, he may have booked a companion seat for his clubs.

This is how I feel when I see people carrying guitars in a gig bag thru the airport.
It’s going under no matter what, and now it’s likely fucked.

A good friend of mine isn’t a golfer. I found a Scotty cameron putter I like in her neck of the woods and asked if she could grab it and ship it to me. She said the shipping place was nervous and reluctant but shipped it. She said she used loads of bubble wrap and a box so I was confused. Putter showed up and the head had bubble wrap and cardboard all over it. The rest of the shaft and grip were completely exposed. It came without the shaft bent at all. God bless Canada post.
