[Music] you know the third hole is really a fascinating hole we played it as a driveable hole two days in 2014 and I’m sure we will play it drivable again at least for a day uh this year you’ll see there some notations here with ad review in 2014 you know this was a new experience to us with the wire grass and you know the non Bermuda Bermuda grass rough and John Jeff and team have really learned how to manage the these areas and they were they kind of thinned out a bit since 2014 some of the weeds that were in there have been eliminated uh there’s some other growth in there but we decided that it was important to supplement the wire grass that remained with additional Wire Grass again this is the rough of Pinehurst and we want to make sure that if you do miss that Fairway that there is a challenge I like to say it is you stand on the te and you have a 300 yard t- shot it’s an anxious walk cuz you don’t know what you’re going to get you don’t know if you’re going to get a clean lie one up against The Wire Grass standing on wire grass but this hole again another layup hole when we play it back 290 yards into this area and they’ll play wedges from there but we played it as drivable in the 320 range 315 range and that’s a green light for for nearly every player in this field but look at this putting green it falls off tremendously in the back these bunkers are very deep you know when you’re down in that bunker you are looking up at the green and all of a sudden what would seem like a very easy three can become a ham 4 jeez how did I walk to the fourth te with a five and that’s just what can happen at this particular hole
