so let’s get you hitting some straighter dries let’s get you hitting your driver like never before a simple drill it’s going to help you understand that maybe certain parts of your body will control the path of this club it will control if on camera you see these kind of actions or down at the ball you start seeing these kind of flicky forward crumbled actions with your arms often they’re the result they’re the resulting the receipt of what’s gone before now what I’m going to show you today is going to help you control impact control path hopefully get you hitting some straighter drives going to set up to my original ball I’m going to hit I’m going to make a back swing and I’m going to see where my shoulders turn and what I mean by that as I turn my body back here I can see my shoulders over the top of my ey line here kind of are turning along this line they’re aligning with the toes of my feet so what I’m going to do is put a ball just basically here in front the toes of my feet and this ball here is going to be my reference point for me trying to get my shoulders to help me control the path of my golf club because the action and tilts and turns that my shoulders are taking as they move around have a huge influence on where this club and the path it wants to travel on and this is why I said that often these actions of the receipts they’re what comes out after you’ve done the shopping so meaning they show you what’s happened before what you’ve put in your basket meaning if I put a shallow kind of flat shoulder turn standing up on the way back well then there’s a good chance I’m then going to try and get my shoulders to tilt down and get back to that ball can’t hit it up here so then we see this starting to come out and the receipt the impact position is a mess it’s what’s gone before is often the result of what you see now if we can get these shoulders tilting in a much more positive way which this ball on the ground is going to allow us to do both ways so back and down and through we’re now going to start getting Club paffs working for us where you don’t even have to think of them cuz of again people’s upper body turns are what dictates that shoulder and that club moving on a particular path so let’s get some tilt on now with this ball set up just at the tip of my toes here about here and you can be loose you’ll find your own position but it is around here you’re going to find for most people it’s also in line with that ball in front of me I’m going to turn my shoulders and try and keep that ball in between my feet in view meaning if I turn flatter with my shoulders I literally can’t see that ball now I have to start getting to about here see the difference in the Tilt so I’ve gone from here I don’t see it I do start seeing it now so we’re going from even on camera it look small it’s kind of like we’re tilting it a good amount of degrees extra now on the way down what I’m going to do is I’m going to try and hit the ball with Trail shoulder so that’s going to give me these tilts that you see on the way down so on the way down FR as we see these kind of level shouldered actions Pros you definitely start to see these kind of actions here where we see more slanted shoulders where am are much more up out of their follow throughs has to be one of the most common things we see is that follow through it’s goes this way where when you watch on telly you’re going to see it much more kind of down here and out and again that ball is staying visible so it’s staying visible giving me tilts and then as I come down I try and hit it with my trail shoulder look how it’s dropping my arms dropping the club dropping me much more on a straighter to inside path as I come through and hit that ball with my trail shoulder if I’m going good tilts here and then I throw this Trail shoulder out where the club goes and then we get these stalls as I come through it just covers that ball up now you can if you want just give yourself an idea at the start maybe just put the club across your chest here to give you some ideas of the feeling of the Tilt as the lead shoulder goes down to reveal that ball make sure the hands go up same on the way down as the lead shoulder goes up Trail shoulder goes down let that club come down with it that’s what’s going to get it coming here rather than up and out over this way honestly this absolutely transforms golfer club path and the overriding statement that I get from golfers is I’m not even thinking of club path no you’re not you’re putting better movements in that encourage better paths which encourage straighter drives and it also encourages a whole lot more fun use this ball get your shoulders tilted if you want to start controlling path without
