hey guys what’s going on welcome back to Modern golf I hope you’ve had an amazing amazing amazing day and even better week today we’re here talking about I think maybe the most high quality stand bag for under 300 bucks we’ve ever reviewed and this is the revcore this is the 14 way but this is their tour like standbag and so we’ve tested this I’ve left all I put both thing both straps back on and I want to go over all the features because I think this is an amazing amazing golf bag at a really really good price point so if you’re unfamiliar with revore or as the parent company from them is who’s your caddy daddy or caddy daddy we did a review earlier in the year for this guy their cart bag which is super high-end feeling and again an incredible price point um we loved this bag this is they call it Navy it’s more like a cobalt blue to me so we got our hands on the new standback and I wanted to kind of test we’ve tested it for the last H couple couple weeks I want to say and really want to give you our opinion of what we like and what we don’t like and all those other good things so what we do for every review is we’ll start with the top it’s a 14-way top but it’s unusual 14-way top and so I wasn’t sure how I would like it um and I’ll get into all that stuff kind of as we go this bag is right around 35 in long so from what I say toes to nose right around 6 and2 lb so yes it’s not the lightest bag I would say this is probably in the world of the best hybrid golf bags comes in two colors um the black is what you see here and I’ll take this stuff down so you can kind of see the detail and is also available in Navy or that same kind of cobalt blue um I would have liked to have seen some other colorways with this I think a black and white would have been killer and maybe they’ll do that later but I love the very the variated um looks I love the way this thing looks I love the way it performs and we’ll get into all that stuff as well so not the lightest bag as we talked about a 14-way top that’s unusual um and and how I did it was I went driver uh Fairway Wood hybrid putter here and then I went my iron so I went four five 6 7 8 n pitching gaps and lops right so it worked out well for me it was a little bit of getting used to because it’s is a little different top but super dense super soft U material I think some of the softest materials I’ve ever seen uh in a golf bag really really nicely done again their first iteration of a 14 way or also I think it comes in six or seven I’ll put the information up as we go but I ordered it in the 14 way because I’m a 14 way nut um I love arguing with those guys out there but so let’s get into the features as we go um umbrella Loop here um which I like adjustable I always close mine up I haven’t put an umbrella in my bag in 20 years but I get there are some people who want them uh if you’re playing in a tournament Great Loop and a little hoop Loop down here what I will tell you about this material so I’ve done a lot of synthetic leather material bags in the last really last year but certainly the last 3 4 months and what these guys do that’s very different than the other ones um is it is a foam backed material so it’s synthetic material but it feels like a true staff bag it has a thicker feel to it feels like like what I would say almost feels like leather um to the touch the thickness is there I love their material I think if you haven’t got your chance on a ref core bag you know if it has store near you or you can order one they’re really really nice I’m not saying that you guys know what we’ve reviewed um this is again one of the coolest things I call it my uh bullnose um towel ring ring for really anything on this one and a huge large space um for your glove so really nicely done we’ll get into this pocket first valuable line um the material is in here is nice it’s not the best in the industry but it’s nice material has a nice little garage zipper in here for it um that goes in there what I like about rev is these are true like metal poles like these feel like something good um so we’ll get into this pocket here as we go big open Cavern really nothing in here that’s too frilly um what’s interesting is when you get inside this bag which is I haven’t seen ever before um so inside the pocket it’s the same material as the outside of the pocket so it has a great feel even inside I really like what they’ve done done um I mean listen to those zippers I mean the zippers are smooth um your pen or pencil holder here whatever you want to look at it I like where it’s at I like how they incorporate into the bag the other thing they’ve done which I really love is this that’s kind of a cooler pocket in here um there are reservoirs to let the water and moisture out the only thing I wish they would do uh and I guess for the next iteration maybe is put a magnet or something here to keep it closed because when I use this um what’s today Friday so I use this Wednesday um it kind of stays open after a while uh and that’s the only I wish like when you’re done with it they could just close up and say okay I’m done um but really like the bag like the materials I will tell you this is the best handle I have used in golf hands down sticky rubber it feels incredible in the hand it’s incredible to use this should be the standard for all top cuffs going forward it’s a little taller it’s out of the way there’s room for your clubs room for your putter but this thing has got an incredible feel and it’s tacky it’s great I played the other day it was actually 70 something so it was warm for where I’m at um I absolutely love this top uh so the top cuff has they’ve done a great job so what what rev cor has done and it looks like an octopus I’m wrestling here there’s two different straps so you have a a double strap which are Super nice foam these are super super thick dense uh super soft um material in here the microfiber is great and there’s also a single strap and so these and I took pictures of it they hook on on four different ways you know most bags it’s two ways or fourways or threeways this is a four-way the caddy daddy logo here or revore I should say um is this is a CD we’re calling this caddy daddy um is a rubber material which I think I like more than I like some of the plastic ones we’ve seen uh the handle is fine it’s not leather it’s just a plastic it has some nice grip underneath it which is fine I will take this all day long over a fabric or anything else so I do like this a lot nicely nicely done all the touch points here feel like leather the this looks like metal is metal the rings are metal they it’s it’s just oozes quality they’ve done a phenomenal job this so so this is Jeff from the future or past if you can do pocket here is magnetic for um whatever you want your laser range finder what have you I like the little pull on here this bag just has a premium feel this larger pocket here um also comes off so you can get I love modern golf or who’s your daddy caddy or whatever you want on here and you can put this is huge in here I mean I I I’ll take a picture but it doesn’t do it justice I put my cuz I just did this the other day so I had my 32 oz Yeti um golf balls food all and it all fit and it’s huge I I I wonder if I can so here’s a hat and we’ll just do this so here’s a hat it it gets eaten up like nothing in there I mean and and it’s not even a third of the way full so it’s a huge pocket in there they’ve just done a really really nice job um with that pocket again metal zippers which I love super smooth they feel good they sound good this is another thing I absolutely love the tough guard material underneath it’s like the sticky rubber um so if you do walk or you’re just trying to get in in and out of your trunk of your car um really nice touch point and it feels good and it’s good you know gives you a little grip this is the only thing I will say I’m going to say I don’t love with this bag I don’t love um their system in place uh I like more like the Ping hoofer version um but this is fine I like the rub I like the grips I would say it was almost slipped I wish they did rubber um on these touch points here so it didn’t slip but that’s about the only negative I had and you guys know you got to put your logo on here I mean you know it’s a standard anymore so I would love to to have had them put their logo I want to show you how their mechanism works pretty standard not as like I said it’s not the flat base kind so it’s some people like the flat base some people don’t um you know it is what it is let’s flip this guy around and we’ll get into the pockets over here so man those zippers are incredible pocket in here it’s it’s I don’t say it’s tight but it’s on the tighter side to get stuff in and out of um again I’ll get into the rain hood here in a minute and another one of these cooler line Pockets again I wish this one had as well um some type of magnet or something to keep it close so the pad here may be the best in the industry not kidding it’s this thick it feels incredible it doesn’t get overly hot they’ve just done a really really really really good job on this golf bag um just like I said every touch Point everywhere you look on this golf bag feels highend nothing feels cheap nothing feels like uh they kind of went cheap on this route nothing feels that way the legs are just standard aluminum legs uh nothing to write home about um the feet are rubber I would say in a medium to large size they’re not the biggest in the industry um but they do they do good and there’s a little grip on the bottom which I like so they’ve done a nice job I think these feet are made for a number of Brands this is two things I wanted to show you it has a lock out here in velcro but it also has something I haven’t seen in a long time uh with golf bags sorry my allergies are killing me right now um actually has a place to hold your legs um which is I thought very cool I would like to see a tough guard to kind of protect this material but outside of that really really good bag so it also comes with a a standard I say standard but a large rain hood that actually has like a waterproof kind of material a nylon backed material uh same type of zippers again super high-end super great golf bag mean just a really nice golf bag the other thing which I thought was super cool and I didn’t know that until I really started using this golf bag it comes with a card strap and not only does it come with a card strap you know what’s cool about this card strap besides that it says r core and it looks almost blueish purple um if you’ve used a card strap what’s the biggest problem with using a card trap they’re very diff not very they’re difficult to get on sometimes they eliminate that problem I think it’s like a 4 in wide if it’s perfect you can zip IN Zip out I absolutely love this um I don’t know if they’re going to sell these outside of them with the bags um but really really nice bag so if you’re looking for a golf bag that’s high-end um and really high-end materials uh I would definitely check out rev cor again I’m not being paid this is not a sponsored review um you know I was really surprised in the nice Aesthetics and and the incredible quality of this um I’m telling you this is this this bag reminds me of like a cool leather jacket with this material I got like like an octopus with so many straps but like I love this look it’s the same on the other side I think the hip head is one of the best in the industry 279 is the is the I would say the sicker price I think they run promotions all the time or certainly now and then you know you get this bag under 250 245 I will say this I’m going wrap up I’ve done a lot of golf bags I have a lot more to go this year and these brands that are coming out this year have been crazy good I mean I did a lot of reviews last year this year has blown everything out of the water I mean I’m a spoiled kid on Christmas with all these reviews and these golf bags because they have all been as good as the next one um there have been very few Clunkers this year with golf bags they are all coming out and what’s interesting to me is at a 250 price point it’s 280 I know but let’s say that you get a coupon um we were paying this for awful bags five years ago and so you can get this kind of bag for what you used to pay for you know a not a great golf bag years ago I mean so technology and all that stuff has helped out certainly with this industry because these golf bags are just becoming better and better and better as we go so I would say anybody would love this golf bag um there’s there’s the again the only thing I don’t love is the Bas a little bit and maybe their stand mechanism outside that I absolutely love this this golf bag and it does come in two different tops I think a six or seven way I’ll put it up again in the 14 way um one of my favorites for the year I mean right up there I love this this handle is phenomenal I love everything these guys do um just a really nice golf pack again another great golf bag this year um so anyway guys I hope you
