so he’s two behind the leader which is Andre shley at seven how about this second at the par 5 S what a way to close that around there his third to last hole 219 this is just piped took a look so within about 5 ft made the eagle Putt and then the t- shot at eight it looked like he was going to give them all back here knew it was well right didn’t know there the penalty area over there hadit a provisional which he didn’t know okay and it looked absolutely dead there wasn’t it good there but there’s a uh shotlink Tower just in front of him and this Believe It or Not becomes the second shot I mean that’s the biggest break of the day there’s no doubt for anyone wow as we send it down to Todd Lewis now yeah that was a great second shot to S you make that eagle there Xander and then you come to the eighth Hole uh it wasn’t a bounce back great driver swing it ended up in these holly bushes walk us through the vision you had and the knowledge you had to get that great break yeah it was first off Windham found it uh the guy who was sitting by the the uh the Black Tower basically was like he heard it go in the hazard and then Windam and Austin sort of started looking up forward and then Windam found it pretty close to the fence and then when we got there it was pretty much dead and then I started touching the two rocks next to me and I was like okay Austin these are fine I can move them they’re not embedded I mean they’re B big rocks um I don’t know if the camera caught Austin trying to move one of them but um there was all worms and all kinds of nasty stuff on it so we moved the two rocks and then pretty much punching out backwards was impossible cuz the fence was like this far from my ball so the only advancement since the two rocks are moved was actually punching it towards the green and so I brought the rules official in and he was I was like this is literally like I either go back to the te or I try and force it forward and if I force it Forward worst case it gets stuck in there and then I can just punch it back out and then you know I’d be grinding for a five but he was like I mean the wire was perfectly in the way um the tower was just in like the luckiest spot possible so then we moved all the way I can take uh equid or equidistant I guess either side of the tower went left the the club length got me like on the very edge of the of the pine straw hidden I thought was an unbelievable pitch to bounce it up on the green and then it was a no sweat two putt so it was a really a really bad drive after two really good shots and it was it was I was super lucky uh that one they found it and then two uh to get that kind of relief out of out of the absolute you know Dead Zone yeah and then you make it fur in your final hole too yeah that’s just that’s just a cherry on top for me you you were in contention last year you’re playing well obviously here to start at the Ws of Fargo Championship how would you describe the comfort you have on this golf course yeah I mean it was it was a weird it was a weird day as a whole I think everyone was kind of hanging around you know we had some delays we get out there and the course is is is sort of soaking wet um everyone has to deal with it and uh I was able to sort of get into get into some rhyth them kind of quickly which which was really nice well appreciate your time congratulations on the great break and the great round we’ll see you tomorrow thanks guys
