here at upper Monclair country club we get to celebrate the past present and future since it is called the cognizant Founders cup you get it I’m hope Barnett and you’re watching LPGA now let’s get into it and yes you probably already know whose name I’m going to say That’s Right Nelly Corda so after Nelly attended the Met Gala on Monday and yes I said Met Gala aka the Super Bowl of fashion yeah just a casual Monday for the major Champion she’s now going for her sixth win in six starts here in New Jersey she was uh it was so so crazy I mean you’re standing in a line writing to ready to get on the carpet and you’re like seeing all these people usually watching like TV shows and movies or they’re like famous like singers and you’re just like Star Struck the entire time like it’s the best people watching for me I was just like silent just looking at everyone’s dresses I mean um I would say like I saw Shakira and I just I love here she’s so beautiful and then um Jaden Smith was really really nice he was actually the first person to actually say hello to me and introduce himself so um everyone was really amazing there I can’t just point out one person I mean the dresses were unbelievable and the whole evening was just a dream come true defending this week is the legendary Jin young Co the 15-time winner has won this tournament three times and after her T4 performance at the JM Eagle La Championship it would be no surprise surprised if she captured her 16th this week I think my go my game is going well like I think I found good direction to going so yeah let’s see I think it takes more time to get better and better but I’m happy to like be back here any given week out here on the LPGA Tour someone new could hoist a trophy I mean there are 144 players in the field so whether it is a Rolex firsttime winner that wins this week or maybe it’s Lydia Co getting that final point for the LPGA hall of fame or maybe even M Lee winning at this course again you never know what might happen and that’s the beauty of it all so be sure to tune in all week to watch the cognizant Founders cup you can watch on peacock Golf Channel and check out ESPN plus featured groups and a little subtle plug I’ll be helping out there I’ll see you soon
