you learned from your mistakes so I haven’t learned anything yet just pulled my into oh my God I’m [Music] done guys welcome back to the channel this is part two of episode three to road to open qualifying I’m out here with Sam Again Sam how you doing you good cold but it’s all right it’s cold it’s windy uh if you guys haven’t seen part one go check that out uh we’re on the back nine here at vooy golf club Sam right now is up by three shots and he gets three shots again on this nine I’ve got the yers but that’s about all I have going for me right now so uh I’m going to have to play some pretty good golf catch [Music] here 10 full par 4 just over 400 yard pretty much straight down wind just want to try and hit a drive down the left hand side here keep it them play I got Hazard down the right so let’s go let’s play some golf yeah hanging down the right hold on hold on oh yeah monkey kick it back in you’re right in the middle yeah oh I see it de Center cool good Fairway hit baby Fairway hit Let’s Go Pad the stats all right so same thing nice little driver started on the right side finishing Center hopefully they’re right there that was close God that was so close pretty close to him yeah I’m good he came out of nowhere yeah just like it’s like a here okay well you didn’t K him nice little Drive uh right left rough 130 y to the pin downwind branches are in my way um so I’ll probably need to hit like a little punch shot I think I’m going to go little little seven just to keep the ball low and just have the ball trickle to the green front penil go release release that was pretty good man yeah I think I’m just right on the French fine pretty good shot all right so right center of the Fairway after that P Bounce take it I got 115 to that front flag downwind I got 56° which when I pulled it out of the bag I thought was the right Club but it is gusting right now so I don’t know uh I’m still going to I’m going to hit like one five shot hope the wind carries it up and let it release to the wall good I don’t think I could have got that close like downwind like this oh yeah yeah I don’t think it was anyway like I hit good shot I’m really happy with that but it just ran on I got a putt that’s all good yeah I’ll take it out please y so second Texas wedge of the game put it there yeah just try to have a good now sit go there see where Sam Strokes on the back nine here yeah you stroke here right stroke stroke here on 12 and on 18 nice bird oh I hate this game all right I got uh biry putt from downtown here uphill then cresting going downhill should turn a little to the left back into the wind got to try and guess the pace here go go go wow wind took it I feel like the wind did affect that one all right work for par I cannot be giving him shots like this right now that when he’s making net birdies all over the place all right 3 and 1/2 ft should just go a tiny little bit to the left as it dies are you too good for your home answer me I love this game I love this [Music] game all right part 3 11th 164 wind whipping off the right Sam’s got the box now up by five strokes and I still have to give him two strokes so uh I need to play miraculously and uh I mean I’ve never going to root against somebody but you know if you made a couple of bogeys it wouldn’t hurt thought we were playing cool yeah war war is declared I’m I’m down by five and you still got two strokes all right so I’ll play with the wind little seven iron off the right oh so high wow that’s going to be a cool shot Tracer I’ll tell you that much where is that uh somewhere left I mean I think you got over the bunker it’s unbel it’s unbelievable yeah we we we got to work on that yeah um so 164 I’ve got eight iron like a 3/4 one and try and throw it a little out to the right and let the wind bring it back in try to hit it about half as high as Sam hit is his and it should work out okay oh yeah get in a hole okay maybe just off the left of the green but pretty happy with that shot like straight yeah then the wind just grabbed it all right so just off the left green I got like 15 yards to the P try to flop it then it sof good shot after pretty good man yeah good shot all right so pin high on the green here probably just outside 20 ft a little downhill a little right back into the wind again so uh might have to give this a little extra okay good Pace this time goad so hard to man fars are good score right now I will absolutely take that about like 4T far that three under uh you I was one under no you were one under net after front right yeah yeah okay so that two under for Sam yeah and I’m it’s three over over all right work to [Music] do all right 12th hole four 355 straight down wind uh Sam’s got the box was that fourwood yeah that’s fourwood okay going be so high this yeah this is going to go a mile in the air I mean you get it high enough you might drive the green with this wind right now yeah real nice that is going to go forever I went so far I didn’t even see it come down oh yeah Happ with this that’s going to be a nice shot Tracer yeah it’s high but it’s TR I it’s definitely going out of frame all right I got four iron something down there yeah great St center of the center that PL soft bounce okay soir way nice Good Start Front flag downwind tough 107 I think it is going to be L yeah yeah especially because I mean it’s weird right the course is wet the greens don’t spin yeah so I think even if I like especially downwind if I land this like front edge it’ll skip up to it so yeah I got a lob wge not a full one I hit like a guess a regular 95 shot pretty good hold it a bit I think it’s okay oh that one oh now it’s spin you’ve got to be kidding me first one that’s spun all year all right so good firsty shot about 71 yards to the pin try not be short cuz greens fall in front make sure it doesn’t spin on you go go go it did okay I’ll take it I’ll take it though nice shot Sam well it was on the green at one point you can take it out I mean how that spins back down when I don’t know it’s not my day man but battle through it all right uh just off the front putting back uphill I mean I am going to putt it there no point in chipping this I hold it or no take it out it’s good uh should turn a little bit to the right up at the top I mean it’s just going to be about judging Pace coming out of The Fringe Here Again Sam Strokes on this hole so got to make sure I get down and two from here go sit sit sit sit good face yeah I’m happy with that come on I’ll just clean it up yeah yeah take your time nice SP I have no idea how much that’s going to turn SL 20 foot slow up that hill [Music] yeah nice net birdie sick of saying that all right so that puts Sam up by six Yeah by now you’re having a break up by six with six [Music] hes okay 13 P par three 162 playing 155 down the hill uh when mostly down but also off the left have to got the box de baiting in two clubs what nine or wedge nine or yeah nine or wedge I think I’m going to go little easy nine or no wedge I mean like there’s water short so I don’t want to be short I’ll go with the easy yeah I don’t mind that part that was pretty quick I don’t know I don’t know decisive decisive yeah all right comfortable that well hit yeah go right oh my is that short I freaking hate this no way that’s yeah I don’t see it oh God but I mean it’s wet so it might have uh yeah it might have plugged might be on the I just I just don’t understand how it’s how it’s short with how high you hit it uh I want to find a flat spot on this side box uh I got pitching wedge which uh should be the right Club but um I mean depends how much of a back swing I can make here just don’t feel like Nine’s the play so a good swing on this should be all right please get in on okay good shot whoa whoa fun again it’s on the green uphill plot all right I’m happy with that one all right so came up a little bit shorter than I thought um I have a nice little chip to do here it’s just tough with the lie and fact that I’m hanging back we’ll see how it goes y go release not bad okay yeah not bad been closer but we’ll take it me oh my gosh all right I got a probably just outside 20 ft here up a pretty big slope I think it’s pretty straight at the beginning should die a little left it’s going to be hard commit to hitting this as hard as I need to I can’t really feel my hands so deal is tough whoa that was not nice and easy I have zero feel in my hands right now man I can’t even feel the weight of the putter head my hands are so cold oh am I uh am I still away no you’re I so downhill after the hole so man what a mistake that was trying to get some feel back in these hands here good butt thank you all right at least I didn’t lose a stroke there that would have been highly unnecessary good par too W it’s debatable [Music] all right 14th hole 305 par 4 it’s short but it is crazy narrow so I don’t know what are you hitting here 600 yeah yeah I think that’s the right play I’m probably going to hit like a really small seven like you just got to play something here you want to put it about 100 yards out I would be like 150 something like that yeah yeah no that’s good Sam’s got the Box Sam is still up by six shots I still owe him a shot on 18 and we’ve got five holes left oh my God that was it was a good swing I didn’t see anything wrong with that left that’s got to sit got to sit yeah I think you’re going to be blocked out there unfortunately I said this hole is narrow looked like a terrible swing no it was it was a little bit but yeah contact was good wasn’t crazy high like the stri really nice all right so I got seven iron basically going straight at the flag not full just again just got something out there a bit of a silly hole in my opinion mine too well glad we agree on something sure that’s fine little Healy but yeah that’s perfect I got an open shot to the Green from where I am so I’m happy okay so middle of the Fairway nice open shot to the green here 85 yards to a front flag downwind again this is going to be hard to stop but Sam I believe is in jail so uh just want to put something on the green and uh hopefully actually hit a decent putt this time so I’m going to go lob wedge H like an 80 yard shot hope the wind carries it back there get it to check up sit okay good probably about 8 ft for birie I think uh I’ll decide to go make it interesting we’ll try something I imagine an opening so try to just draw it around the tree and inside is it a stupid play maybe but we’ll try it out oh my God sitting I I’ll I’ll take it there was like I what you were thinking even trying that but good shot you you got to give credit what credits do uh stupid but but nice it’s good good for YouTube you learned from your mistakes so I haven’t learned anything yet snap want me me to T that for you told me Trash Talk was allowed so what you told me Trash Talk was allowed okay if I sing this I think you’ll you want me to uh no you can hitting driver cuz I can’t do that with driver right now I’ve got three wood we’re back into the wind so uh this is a good hole this legitimately just a good hole though oh yeah that’s Bea that what a shot Freewood yeah good shot thank you yes I’m going driver I mean this whole sets up for you yeah I think I think you I think you designed this hole even though you definitely were not born when this course made all right oh yeah that’s perfect it is long and drawing and perfect so right side of the Fairway 152 to a front flag again into the wind I think I got to hit chippy 7 unfortunately I’ve been hitting chippy 8 from like 140 so yeah chippy 7 draw a li it’s just pretty good swing on this take your time go ahead for contact she dropped her glov she wasn’t sure what to do the look on her face was pretty Priceless it’s because the wind was taking it away all right and back to the show be really good be really good oh it’s good it’s good I think that’s F back happy with that that took a lot of commitment to hit 7even iron from 150 MTH 125 to the pin big win a lot of way right three Club up that’s 3555 I don’t think I’ll even say the club I’m hitting oh no you need to I need to yeah absolutely I’ll cut a six um yeah balls about the feet so I’m cutting it anyway but now won’t go full yeah oh no oh my Lord oh what is that that’s on uh that’s on six green didn’t make it to six green the Green’s that way my God that was oh that was a worst shot you might have a match yet that was um I’m not probably the worst I’ve ever seen so there was your first first mistake you learned from your mistakes so I haven’t learned anything yet yeah that was my first mistake Karma hit cuz the flag is actually there I know I know I’m coming uh I’m debating right now if I’m trying a flop shot over or if uh if the wind is so strong I think I won’t even get there so I could have 40 yards I think if I yeah so I’ll see if I’m I’ll make a second mistake uh wait is pushing this way so I’ll try to just full swing a 58 over CU I don’t even know if yeah I’ll go for that yeah happy with that so credit where credit is due that was a heck of a shot he just hit there yeah that was uh pretty Majestic from where I was standing to be honest all right I got a uphill putt for birdy here not too much in it should just turn a little bit right early and straighten out the rest of the way I hate to say it’s a must make but it’s a must make not D me yet well we stroke play D me doesn’t exist oh yeah I didn’t hit it and it turned left that’s poor that is just poor I mean I’ll take a top end par on this hole into the wind but that is just a very very poor effort all right this would be a remarkable part yeah if I make that a game ah me too didn’t hit yours turned left too did I not pull it oh maybe I thought I saw a turn it it’s in it’s in it’s in it’s in it’s all I have to say that would have been terrible cuz you hit that pretty hard too I wasn’t going to stop right next to it oh yeah all right honestly not a bad boey oh yeah I’ll I’ll prob would considering the second shot [Music] yeah all right so uh 16th hole par five 480 yards in the wind straight up said that a lot today uh so like normally very inviting hole today uh no gimme uh it’s a bit of a double dog leg water down the left uh yeah I’ve got the box I’m just going to try and put a driver out in the Fairway somewhere where I can try to get on to right now let’s just focus on getting this in the Fairway yeah St no that’s get there I don’t think it’s going anywhere in the wind but I’m in the Fairway I haven’t been able to say that many times this year all right same thing for me oh oh no oh oh oh boy that’s that’s dead I’ll give you a drop up there though well if I have to re I’ll re but well I mean technically you would have crossed up by like those seedar there if you want but I’ll give you a drop up wherever the ball finish kind okay like I I mean I know you’re up by five I’m being friendly here but no yeah no that’s I’ll drop at like okay so what I’ll do I’ll drop at the cedar that’s let me I’ll walk up cuz there might be another area you cross yeah okay so bad Drive push it on the right I don’t think it’s we’re going to find it so drop here uh as like a provisional if not fighting at three here long way to go I have no idea what shot I’m going to hit have some space I’ll go uh I’ll go with the Forwood and just try to place it might fade also with wind is pushing be yeah we’ll see where it goes oh that’s so bad oh my God that’s so bad such a bad decision okay really by decision I think I’m safe all right so I’m just in the right rough here at 226 and in the wind I got to get a little aggressive here so four iron is never going to make it in these conditions I’m going to hit a little hybrid trying and make sure I get it up to the green there water short right got a full commit to this swing here pretty good if it’s the right distance can’t tell but I’m really happy with the execution it’s some it’s somewhere up by the green over there I it here I was trying to find it when you hit it like oh there it is oh yeah we’ll count that as a layup now hitting four about like two something try just getting close oh yeah all bit did I I think it’s pretty good think I think so all right so oh no gra we’ll one on the well depending if he goes all right you can go grab them if you want we’re going to be waiting anyway kids huh all right so I’m just off the front of the green here dipping back up the slope 60° good Li me get this [Music] close good shot happy with that so uh this is fun yeah Sam still running well I I I picked them up for him all day this time I didn’t see them he dropped them when you took the drop by the seeders there I I guess like I might as well go ahead and finish okay so I got just outside of 3T here should turn a little left to push all right that is a nice birdie Sam’s still 125 yard out so I mean even if he chips this in we’re picking up a stroke so that’s good that’s good I mean just like chiping way at the lead here all right I’m in for and you’re out of and he’s out of breath and it wasn’t like my third shot it was back at the SE there 400 y away oh my I’m dead second Brea I’ll take a little punch fishing wedge bu and run yeah oh my God okay it’s in it’s in God what are you doing oh my God I’m thinking like 35 foter then I oh again I’m really happy [Music] guys what are you at now okay so right now I am two over gross two over gross so I have two strokes I am at even so you’re still on this nine on this nine yeah which I was and I was three over on so you’re e sorry you’re even gross on this nine yeah I’m one under on this nine like I’m four over I’m okay I’m four overing when you’re giving Strokes man so I’m four over yeah uh gross four over gross total yeah okay and I’m one over gross total yeah so and I’m giving you six man I’m still three back yeah okay closer than I was 142 folks ahead we were hitting on 14 you bur so you were no you were six ahead yeah so then five ahead then four ahead now two ahead yeah cuz you birdied and I V so two ahead two ahead but I still you yeah so three back with yeah I’m going have to get that Meme with all like the equations going on here what’s the distance 142 uh I mean normally I would love to hit gapw right now but like it’s cold and I can’t turn so I’m going to go a little pitching wedge basically straight down wind okay a little off the left all right shiy pitching wedge that pitching wedge that’s pitching wedge good should have hit gapway such a good door open you’re up like four shots I’m getting a bitching wedge going be really good that same Follow My Lead what are we doing like I’m actually like not upset that I’m one over par day right yeah oh yeah do all right so we’re both over the back of the green here I’m a little further over the back of the green so I’ll be doing first the good news is it’s back into the wind the bad news is that it’s all running away from us uh tricky little shots be honest just got to get creative here visualize a shot hit it I didn’t hit it that’s pretty right all right s here go out the meat please good jot really good I was about to walk it in I was like see that y I’ll take my time yeah please please take your time right in the hood all right so I’ve got to stay I got to make this to stay within three shots with the stroke iio on 18 so uh yeah that’s about all I got to say about that have to give it a run I guess man I’m struggling on these GRE all right back uphill turn just a little to the into the wind into the wind uh basically uh yeah we basically put that on every hole basically just ceremonial at this point here a good one s let’s both finish strong here oh yeah yeah that’s a good one a little spinny but you’re right down the middle fine good swing thank you all right see if I can follow that love to be able to hit that draw right now cuz it shapes so well for this hole I’m going to try it but the Miss has been right so okay it what I missed left missed left I mean I think that’s progress I shouldn’t be missing left but like I was trying to hit a draw and it drew all right so good first drive uh now it’s really windy right now um I have 235 about to the pin uh I don’t think I will get it there I’ll try to just hold it down if not it’s going to be just lay up in the middle but yeah for wood like I said it’s going to be a layup oh that was a quick swing all right all right so I’m over here on the 10th Fairway uh 235 hybrid got to go up over the trees I honestly don’t know if I can get this there there’s water short right it’s probably not a smart play but we’re going for it so let’s do it spinny it’s not going to make it but it was on a good line wa is straight into face 109 109 yeah so I’ll go with the nine clubing up so much oh easy n try to get get on green yeah that’s tight he you got I got yeah take I was thinking so much about it I mean that is not bad we take it 20 ft probably I’ll take it insane how much the wind hit that okay back on the right hole 48 y the sun decided to make an appear appearance for us thanks yeah 48 yards I mean into a pretty hefty Breeze I’m hitting 60 want to try and keep it a little low give myself a makeable birdie putt to finish here okay not bad probably inside of 10 ft for birdie want uh yeah please thank you all right bro finishing style me out of my misery oh that was thanks for the read man thanks that was such a poor stroke was a h here yeah that looked a little tender all right so I got what I don’t know 8 ft probably 8 ft uphill turning a little left love the finishing style and a little bit of dignity after today nice bir thank you fish dignity regain all right I’ll sleep well tonight after that all right Sam cleaning up I knew it I oh I knew it why why do I that why I don’t know don’t miss this one all right it’s over it’s over day day is done hey dude well played thank you very much appreciate it yeah yeah get off the green get out of the way and we’ll do a little recap after all right so that’s a wrap for today uh Sam congratulations thank you yeah I think you won by what was it two two I think yeah after the uh the six-stroke adjustment so uh with a little bit of a blunder on 18 so I me he was running away with it for a little while there I’m happy I kind of clawed back into it a little bit play play well on the back KN yeah I played all right on the back n i mean one under on the back nine in these conditions I’m going to take that absolutely um a little messy today though wasn’t uh wasn’t for for both of us I yeah it’s just tough tough conditions how do you feel about your game today feel like the ball well uh obviously like for me for my swing like big win like that is really hard and so downwind hole was amazing but uh win in the face hole was like pretty struggle but I putter putter was really good today I feel happy of how I put it so overall pretty happy score and yeah yeah yeah like I said I mean you know it wasn’t definitely my cleanest round of golf uh but in these conditions it’s just hard it’s hard to swing uh I’m sure you had the same thing where you feel like you’ve hit a good shot and just ends up in a terrible spot yeah so um looking forward to getting some better weather so I can really kind of Judge where the game is at um but uh but I mean I like this coming out playing a match against you I’m giving you Strokes it you know puts some pressure on me it makes it tough uh it’s going to help me get ready for my qualifiers which really is the whole point of this so so thank you again for coming appr won’t be the last definitely not the last pleasure to play with you’re uh yeah pleasure to play with and you’re
