hello and welcome to the Roa wire WNBA show where we talk about fantasy basketball I’m Jason shilsky alongside krian spreer today we’ll discuss the first weekend of preseason action including Caitlyn Clark’s debut and Jaylen Brown’s impressive performance for Dallas we’ll also do an in-depth breakdown of some of the top players available in this year’s fantasy drafts and we’ll talk about some of the recent top stories from around the league including the trade that sent Crystal danger field to De to Atlanta let’s jump into it uh the first weekend of the preseason is in the books and there were several entertaining games Kon what stood out to you the most about the first several games all right let’s start with Chicago and Minnesota um rookie Angel Reese drew the start which was kind of surprising uh she was the later of the first round draft picks for Chicago with Camila cardoso going earlier um but cardoso operated Off the Bench she’s also got a little banged up in this game I’m sure you’ll touch on that L later but I want to highlight Angel Reese nine for 10 from the free throw line that’s really impressive for a rookie shows that she’s being really aggressive um I have questions about like how her offensive game will translate but like if you’re showing energy and drawing fouls like that super repeatable nine boards very solid number two Steals and a block so like that that’s what I feel like will be consistent or her rebounding and her defensive Productions so like pretty solid numbers right there on the bad side she did have five fouls two turnovers and she was minus 21 while she was on the court so like you know a little give and take but that’s what to be expected for rookies um I was also pretty surprised that diamond to Shields played only eight minutes um she missed all of last season with a knee injury so it was like nice to see that she was like cleared and ready to play the eight minutes maybe she aggravated something that’s definitely something to keep an eye on moving forward uh on the Minnesota side Courtney Williams Stellar debut for her new team you know 17 points seven for 11 shooting five assists three steals two blocks in only 22 minutes excellent production and limited action uh you know Minnesota was like a right around 500 team last year Kier was an MVP candidate and they had surprise performances from like Dorca and and Diamond Miller who are both rookies last year but Courtney Williams can really be that veteran presence that like can solidify that rotation behind Kier so Corney Williams fantastic debut hope expecting more of that going forward in the preseason and into the regular season next up uh we got Indiana um they the fever treated this like a dress rehearsal right like a lot of teams there’s different strategies going into the preseason right the fever played this like it was a regular game Caitlyn Clark 28 minutes Nelissa Smith 33 minutes Erica wheeler 25 aiyah Boston 31 Lexi Hall 23 so like that’s a pretty standard workload and something that we can probably expect in the regular season starting off with my girl Caitlyn Clark 28 minutes she was really strong in the first half it looked like she was back in her Iowa uniform right chucking threes making plays got a little bit inefficient in the second half missed some shots she finished with five turnovers and four fouls so you know like reys rookie up and downs to be expected what I really want to highlight though is she took 13 three-pointers man that is crazy and for every made three you get an extra point in fantasy so like keep chucking those and it maybe my top five pick won’t seem so crazy after all uh going down the line Melissa Smith like we talked about um on Friday she’s going to benefit from a lot of easier opportunities with Clark there she scored 20 points uh wheeler scored 16 points in 25 minutes and Boston nearly had a double double so like Clark is that like egocentric offensive piece but she’s gonna make everyone’s life around her easy and they should all be able to put up pretty good stats um I’ll let you talk about like the Dallas side of of that um Oro G had a good game like you mentioned Jaylen Brown had a pretty good game um interesting stuff on that side of the ball too next up we’re moving to Atlanta and Washington while the fever and Dallas treated that like a dress rehearsal this one was more like a practice all right uh not many players played heavy minutes not nobody really played over 20 minutes it was nice to see Misha Hines Allen being productive in limited work she scored 13 points in 15 minutes right before we hopped on the Pod though she was not dressed for practice today so that might be you know a veteran absence but that also may be something that’ll happen during the the regular season which might knock down her fantasy value a little bit more all right so moving on from Atlanta Washington not much to see there we got the Sparks and Seattle and uh just two debutes that I want to point out here uh really impressed with uh Cameron Brinks debut another rookie 11 points four for eight from the field two blocks that’s production that I feel like is sustainable we’re a little worried about her foul trouble right but she can contest shots and she can block shots one for two from three man she shot below 30% in college but you know if she’s blocking shots and making threes she could be a top 20 top 15 fantasy player easily easily even as a rookie especially for a team that’s rebuilding like the Sparks are and then next up uh on the Seattle side Skylar Diggin Smith looked fantastic in her Seattle debut 14 points five of eight from the field efficient shooting five assists four steals in only 20 minutes she could be that second piece behind Drew Lloyd and then you add NECA AUM in there and Seattle is looking like another super team so really good to see Skyler diin Smith back on the court playing well always a good sign when we have stars like that playing well yeah absolutely uh out of all the games that you talked about I really want to focus in on the Indiana Dallas game uh it was encouraging to see Indiana treat it like a dress rehearsal uh Caitlyn Clark is going to be such an important part of that team and with how quick of a turnaround it is between the college basketball season and the WNBA season I mean coach Christy Sid was talking after the game about how much how exhausted Caitlyn Clark was after the game so it’s good to see the to see the fever get her minutes right away and just her three-point uh shooting was incredible as expected and uh so if she can do that she will easily be like top 10 value at least um in the sky little limit for her uh we talked Friday that I was really looking forward to see to seeing how Dallas would shake out with their workload I wasn’t really expecting Jaylen Brown to be anywhere close to where she was she took on a starting role tallied 21 points five rebounds an assist and a steal in 30 minutes uh Lou Lopez Shen senal arrived at Camp earlier Friday and didn’t play in the game but MADD seagis looked to be the clear number two option for uh yeah well I guess the clear uh bench op and just secondary among the forwards um so if J Jaylen Brown still has a long ways to go uh she still needs to make the roster officially which she looks to be well in her way and uh it it’s not yet clear whether she might have a starting role once the regular season begins but at this point in time if we were drafting today which we’ll be doing our staff draft tomorrow if you gave me the choice between Jaylen brown MD seagrist and Lopez cacha I’d probably have to go with Brown uh I think that if she can average maybe around like 10 or 12 points four rebounds or so she has the potential to be a League winner where you’re drafting her uh she’s available at this point really in at the end of your fantasy drafts you can just get her in the in the last round or the last two rounds but that might rise a little bit over the coming days uh even if you can get her maybe round seven or eight like that’s tremendous value and just a solid bench piece to have on your fantasy roster uh I think that from here on out Jaylen Brown will be someone that I’m trying to leave every fantasy draft with um especially satu Sab out the wings need production and it looks like it’s Brown’s job to lose at this point uh her situation reminds me a little bit of aana doic last year doic really flew under the radar training camp earned a roster spot even to start the regular season doit flew under the radar but she had a stretch of a few weeks where she was incredibly productive in one of the uh like best fantasy waiver pickups for a few weeks so if Jaylen Brown can be around that area I think that she is just a great value yeah absolutely and just like a quick little recap of where she is like in her WNBA career right like her final Collegiate seasons was was in 2019 2020 right so she’s been playing overseas making stops in France Sweden Hungary Mexico and Turkey right so she’s been bouncing around trying to play professional ball trying to make it back to the W um and she’s gonna turn 26 later this like season um to at the end of this season so like she’s right in her prime she’s been playing professional ball for a long time like she’s ready to make an impact and the fact that she drew that start in the preseason opener like you know if maybe if she came off the bench and then like got hot and played extra minutes like I would see that the fact she was in the starting lineup I know there’s some injuries and like whatever kind of shows that like she’s on the Inner Path to making this roster and having and if she makes the roster she’s gonna have a huge role so I like you said I’m totally All Aboard trying to grab her at the end of every round or at the end of every draft moving forward yeah absolutely uh yeah she just tremendous value and she’s one of those players that the upside is there and if she doesn’t do much or ultimately doesn’t make the roster you aren’t spending a lot of draft capital on her uh you mentioned Camila cardoso’s injury it looked like she had hurt her shoulder um the game wasn’t officially televised but shout out to Ally on Twitter for live streaming that game um but it it looks like she’ll be fine um coach Teresa Weatherspoon said after the game that uh she just downplayed this Fair of the injury so I’m not expecting too much out of that but luckily the sky do play again tomorrow on Tuesday so uh we’ll have to see whether she’s uh able to play a full workload in that game uh and then it was a little surprising to me to see rakia Jackson come off the bench for the Sparks she played uh she played 20 minutes off the bench and scored 10 points with four rebounds uh so it was still an encouraging performance for sure but that’s still something that I’m keeping an eye on during the Sparks preseason game coming up this Friday um if if Jackson does come off the bench I’m probably lowering her down a little bit on my draft board but she certainly has all the talent in the world so if she can carve out a prominent role whether it’s starting or Off the Bench I still like her as a mid- round Target for sure and as a rookie like you know the Sparks probably won’t win many games this year no defense the Sparks but as the season goes on and they fall farther down the standings maybe she gets more starting opportunities the Sparks started three guards and then they started uh Hami next to Brink in the back uh in the front court so an interesting lineup there I’m sure they’ll be moving it around um but I I feel like even if she comes off the bench like she did that she played 20 minutes and that was the third most on the team so even if she comes off the bench during the regular season I feel like she’ll still get plenty of minutes but that definitely knocks your fantasy value down a little bit yeah absolutely so now that we’ve talked about some of the uh mid to late round picks uh that performed well in this week’s this weekend’s preseason games let’s talk about some of the top players in this year’s rankings and offer some tiers so off tier one uh we have Brianna Stewart forward from the Liberty last year’s MVP last year’s top fantasy performer uh last season I had some question marks as to like just how dominant she’d be because she was joining a new super team in New York uh New York added uh Brianna Stewart they added Courtney vandersloot they added jqu Jones there was a lot of talent and I wasn’t sure just how the workload would be distributed but I mean Stuart was dominant she was the clear focal point in that on that team and I I had her in most of my fantasy leagues and uh she did not disappoint uh heading into this year really my only question when I have the pick in my fantasy drafts is whether to select Stuart or Wilson but most of the time I’m going with Wilson yeah absolutely I feel like the the difference there is Stewie gives you more three-point production and Wilson gives you more defensive production right so give or take what like what pick your poison sort of deal probably Rolland with at the top of my rankings too but those two are pretty interchangeable and I think we can both agree that Alyssa Thomas is maybe tier one maybe tier w a like she she’s like that next player behind those two that um I feel like has to go off the board at at three just because of her consistent allaround production you know what you’re getting you’re going to get it on a nightly basis she’s playing for a good team competitive team they won’t be blown out um they might also not blow out a lot of teams like the other two might so I feel like Alysa Thomas is that maybe one notch below Stewie and Asia Wilson but not far behind at all yeah absolutely I I misspoke just just a moment ago I’m going Stuart not Wilson at number one but Stewart and Wilson to me are in like the top tier on their own Wilson is a two-time MVP and shouldn’t be overlooked uh she’s still incredibly dominant if you get her at number two don’t be disappointed whatsoever um and yeah similar to you Alyssa Thomas is kind of in that onea versus like the top of tier 2 range uh she uh she had 11 uh she has 11 career triple doubles which is just crazy because no other player in WNBA history has more than three um she averaged 15.4 points 9.9 rebounds 7.9 assists last year she’s going to be dominant again this year and uh even though Briana Jones will be back I’m still expecting for Thomas to be uh a focal point in uh Connecticut yeah absolutely even Brianna Jones coming back gives her another good player to pass to so like even more assist numbers well when you have a player like that that is a willing passer and just a great all-around player the additions of better players you know doesn’t always like hurt their impact for me like obviously they’re gonna Brianna Jones might steal a couple rebounds and score some more buckets but like the overall team playing better should make the best player on the team which is Alyssa Thomas play even better in my opinion yeah absolutely so we agree on the top three of Stuart Wilson and Thomas number four is where it starts to get murky for us and I think it’s where it starts to get murky for a lot of people yeah absolutely um you know if you tuned in on Friday if you’ve caught any of the Roa wire sleeper picks or mock drafts going on you know that I’m super high on Caitlyn Clark I’m about as high on Caitlyn Clark as it gets um so I’m taking her at number four reaching over players like Drew Lloyd daica goba neiser Kier um strictly because of what I mentioned earlier and it’s that three-point prowess man 13 shot attempts from deep in her first WNBA action so like there probably could be sometimes some nights where she gets up 15 shots from Deep um there’ll be some efficiency concerns but you don’t get any negative points um and Indiana isn’t going to shy away from her chucking at will so Kaitlin Clark like like arque like juwel Lloyd um is that number one option immediately and even Lloyd like she was the number one option in Seattle last year but now they add diin Smith now they add NECA um I just think that there’s more opportunities for Caitlyn and I I’m just really putting all my chips on that upside to to break it down a little bit um arque agumba and drewel Lloyd led the WNBA in three-point attempts last year per game eight and a half per game arque made at least five three-pointers six times and ju Lloyd made at least five three-pointers nine times kayen Clark attempted 13 threes and made five of them in her first game so like you’re looking at arque and you look at Drew Lloyd and where they finished in the fantasy rankings last year and I think that might be the floor for Caitlyn Clark maybe that’s a little overd dramatic um and then you go Sabrina was third she had 9. uh 7.9 threes per game and she made at least five 13 times so like just a Caitlyn Clark’s three-point shooting alone has her finishing close to these players that are going in like that five six seven overall range and then you add in the fact that Caitlin Clark could also lead the league in his and I that upside just shoots her to the top um I have her with Alyssa Thomas in that one a group um in that tier onea group uh I wouldn’t be offended if you had her in the tier two and I’m sure some people might even have her in the tier three or four range but I just think that three-point shooting upside combined with her assists and being the number one option in Indiana makes her just too high of an upside to let her slip past like pick five or six in my opinion yeah absolutely I uh heading into the preseason I was a little bit lower on Caitlyn Clark I think I have her at number 14 but especially after seeing her three her um three-point prowess on Friday and just seeing how well she performed I think that she’ll be rising up a few spots for me uh and if you’re drafting her early to mid first round there’s absolutely nothing wrong with that I see no issues at number four I do have uh juwel Lloyd Guard from the Seattle Storm she was she was the uh one of the top three-point Shooters in the League last year um with the storm in rebuild mode it was the best year of her career she averaged 24.7 points uh 35.4 minutes per game I would expect for that that to go down a decent amount this year now that the storm have Skyler diin Smith and Neco wum so Lloyd has some question marks for me but if she can keep up her score that gives her a very high floor and really any peripheral stat she gets is just like icing on the cake um e even if they go down a little bit I still like her as a an early to mid first round value um but it it is where some uncertainty starts to creep in if I’m sitting at number four in my draft Yeah there’s nothing wrong with taking Drew Lloyd and like you said with AUM and uh Dean Smith coming into town she might not average as many points but we got to remember that she spent a lot of her career playing with Brianna Stewart right so like no offense to those other two players but they’re not Brianna Stewart so like ju lyd can put up stats with while playing with other stars she’s proven that so totally fine taking her this early um and I I think with Caitlin Clark it’s just kind of like the shiny new object right like I’m a little toy like jul Lloyd is is that that blanket that’s been there for years and years and years and it’s served me well but then there’s the shiny new toy and I want to go play with the shiny new toy that’s probably you know a little over dramatic reason of why I’m taking kayin Clark over Drew Lloyd but you know she’s a very safe pick here um at Pick Four for sure yeah absolutely uh we also differ at number five I have arri Aon Bal Guard from the wings uh she averaged over 20 points per game last year for the second time in her career and uh had her career best season as a passer with four and a half assists per game she did Miss eight games in 2022 due to injury but outside of that her availability has been incredible she sat out just one game over her four other Seasons so availability is one of the biggest things that you look for uh when you’re especially when you’re considering such Elite Talent like this if a player can stay on the court for you they’re going to be just that much more valuable in fantasy absolutely that availability is the best ability as as my you know Middle School baseball coach once told me um I’m totally fine with that you have Lloyd going 4 five I have um you or you have Lloyd and arque going four five I have Lloyd arque going 67 so it’s not that dramatic of a difference um I have Caitlyn Clark and then neiser Kier over juw Lloyd and enque agumba I’ve already told you why I’m going Caitlyn Clark over them um Kier is strictly positional um you know as you go and the more mocks you do the more drafts you do you’ll you’ll find out that the later you get the less amount of forward front court options are available um so like while I think Lloyd and arque are super solid um players that have experienced doing it they’re they’ll be available you can count on them to put up numbers um I just want to reach for probably you know the second easily or I guess Stewie is considered forward to so like the third best front Court option and I you just plug in play Kier MVP candidate we already talked about Courtney Williams coming in and like maybe making them a little a little bit more of a contender this year um so Kier over those other two um might be like you know you might not get as many points like like overall points but you’re going to be at a positional Advantage at forward if that makes sense yeah absolutely um I have nefis ker at number six but like I could see her going as high as number four even number three like when the season is all said and done uh in terms of overall rankings the fact that she’s at number six shows just how deep this year’s Talent is um like you said she’s slightly risky uh Minnesota made few offseason acquisitions Atlanta Smith Alissa peely via the draft Courtney Williams um Kia should still be the clear focal point for Minnesota but I’m wondering whether she’ll have just as many chances for involvement which is why um she’s dropped just a few spots in my rankings for sure and so I have Clark four ker five Lloyd 6 arque 7 and then I have Sabrina ionescu at eight and you have Sabrina ionescu at seven so we’re pretty similar on where we want Sabrina going um you know 18 18 Team league uh I don’t want her to slip into the second round I I really like taking her on that turn I have taken her on that turn in multiple mock drafts um similar story with and with juel Lloyd Sabrina is just a three-point like demon right she and that’s where you can rack up stats really fast there is some concern you know obviously playing with John quell playing with Brianna Stewart playing with Courtney Vander slot um that it’s hard for her to like consistently put up first round production um and she does have some you know highs and lows and last year she was dealing with a little bit of an injury uh towards the end of the season which limited her impact during the WNBA finals against the aces obviously um but supposed to be fully healthy coming into to this year and personally I think if the Liberty are going to take that next step and actually take down Dethrone the aces Sabrina needs to be a St a superstar right like Brianna Stewart is a superstar jqu Jones is a star uh Sabrina incu is a star but incu needs to turn into a superstar this year take control of this offense play lead point guard knock down shots and I think she’s capable of doing that I just think last year she kind of like wanted to ease ease the super team into things um and then you saw her production TI up and I expect her to just like right out of the gate be super productive so I I don’t want Serina and escu to slip out of the first round and I think we’re both in agreement there yeah I had to do a double take when I saw unesco’s three-point shooting from last year she made 3.6 three-pointers per game and Sh shot 44.8% from Beyond The Ark those are crazy numbers and like if Caitlyn Clark comes anywhere close to that she will be um regarded as one of the best in the league but I I think just seeing what UNESCO did last year her peripheral stats were down just a little bit but if her scoring stays up she absolutely belongs in the first round shooting 44% and you’re I mean only taking 7.9 that’s a bit of an exaggeration but if you’re shooting 44% and I’m your coach I’m like you need to be shooting at least 10 threes every game come on like you got to do that and like I said she probably was deferring a little bit and trying to get everyone worked in and developing that um camaraderie and you know like that that cohesiveness with that new unit all playing together for the first time but yeah her three-point numbers are crazy and they should even get better this year maybe not efficiency wise but um like number-wise absolutely uh so UNESCO is the end of tier two for me um going into tier three I have Natasha Howard forward from the Dallas Howard was already pretty high in my rankings like heading into training camp but the news that satu sa would miss the uh first half the season was um was uh pretty uh just bolstered my rankings for in that regard um in Howard’s first year with the wings last year she averaged a career-high 33.1 minutes per game and that was with Sab healthy for most of the season so I think she has a very high floor heading into uh uh 2024 and um if her scoring and rebounding can stay uh stay up there she also belongs in the first round or at least early second round yeah totally I have Natasha Howard going at at 12 so a couple spots lower and I I think that like you said sabali missing time is going to be important and play a role in her production to start the season um but I also think like Howard uh NECA from Seattle Aaliyah Boston th those are all kind of interchangeable at like that 12 13 14th round for me um so I I I just talk about how Kier you have the positional Advantage but then I’m ending this 12 mock with a bunch of guards um and I just think that guards score more points on average than the forwards so I I have them going a little higher in my ranking so after Sabrina I’m going Ryan Howard um if you tuned in on at it you know how high I am on her and uh you know I I argue that she could probably get some forward eligibility at ESPN if you’re listening but we we’ll table that conversation actually probably won’t table it I’ll probably bring it up every podcast um and then I go Kelsey Plum Chelsea Gray and you know I I like we talked about with Sabrina sharing the court with a bunch of superstars like limits everyone’s overall production but the aces are going to score close to 100 points a game and the more points the more fantasy points so you want those players on your team and you don’t want to let them slip into like the 14th or 15th pick just because you don’t want to have too many aces on your team never never say that don’t be afraid of having too many aces or too many Liberty on your team that’s a good thing yeah absolutely um in my tier three I have Natasha Howard Chelsea Gray Ryan Howard Skyler dickin Smith and Kelsey Plum probably the biggest question mark out of those five names is Skyler diin Smith like we talked about earlier with Seattle um we don’t know exactly what the storm uh will look like this year in terms of workload distribution um but you you also have just like the narrative factor of Skyler dickin Smith missed all of 2023 after giving birth she had a kind of messy uh enter tenure in Phoenix so I’m expecting her to come out of the gates quickly in 2024 um even with Neco wum there juel Lloyd returning as a magore you can’t Overlook her um I’m expecting big produ out of scy diin Smith yeah absolutely Revenge Type season for her um after her tenure in Phoenix ended uh a little poorly um I I love that uh I think it’s you know I’m probably playing it a little bit safe with uh Kelsey Plum and Chelsea Gray um diin Smith can easily com put up production comparable to those players um just a little hesitant want to see it in the regular season um after missing a full year you know like maybe there’s some minut restrictions going on like halfway through the year if she gets you know gets worn down a little bit um but I I I think that’s a fine reach um uh and super high potential there yeah absolutely and like you said with the aces um we have three Aces within our top 12 for both of us and you can’t go on with any of them uh I think the biggest uh thing that hindered Asia Wilson’s MVP race MVP case last year was just the fact that the aces were winning so many games by such high margins that they didn’t need to push Asia Wilson further than she needed to go so Becky Hammond was a little bit like she admitted her the uh issue last year and said that she might change it up this year so there’s a chance that Asia Wilson sees more playing time there’s also chance that the other Aces also just like see their playing time stay elevated even when they’re in blowout games because even though they’re the back-to-back Champions the aces still go out every game uh acting like they have something to prove absolutely and with I know Candace Parker missed a lot of time last year but with her not coming back to the team this year um they don’t have much depth to be honest with you they have solid depth but you know you got to play those Superstars until as long as you can yeah it it’ll be interesting to see whether the aces go out and make another addition uh before the regular season but even if they do I still feel comfortable with each of the three Aces where we have them absolutely yeah and then to close out one of the biggest stories of the weekend was crystal Dangerfield being traded from Dallas to Atlanta uh she was in the mix for a starting role with the wings but that could now go to Veronica Burton JC Sheldon or Jaylen Brown um and the timing of the move and just the fact that the dream made the move makes me wonder a little bit whether Jordan Canada is going to miss time due to her hand injury uh she’s dealing with the right hand injury she’s been named the starting point guard but wasn’t available for the pre season opener uh if Canada’s out then Crystal dfield and Haley Jones should be able to step up so I’m I’m intrigued to see how that workload shapes up yeah absolutely I think you you nailed the ramifications of that trade uh good news for JC Sheldon good news for Jaylen Brown um bad news for Jordan Canada uh I would say that the dream trading for another guard would be another uh you know variable into why Ryan Howard is a forward or at least should have some forward eligibility okay I’m sorry I won’t I won’t be that annoying every week uh but I do think that she should have some eligibility super interesting trade right um we don’t get very many like training camp trades uh so it’ll be interesting to see how that all works out um and I I think the biggest thing here is Jaylen Brown we started with her a little bit and we’re probably going to end with her um Journey woman you know playing overseas and now has just a super clear path to consistent playing time and that’s like a super fun story um to watch all training camp and hopefully into the regular season too yeah absolutely I could have never predicted what would happen in Dallas this weekend but it was exciting to see and it just goes to show how much talent Dallas has on their roster uh even with J Sheldon she was incredibly talented in college and she might wind up kind of having to take on a backseat roll on the bench so it’ll be interesting to see how that shakes up um it’s it’s unfortunate for Haley Jones I keep so last year she was one of my favorite sleepers she didn’t really pan out this year I was hoping that there would be a path toward a roll with Dangerfield in the mix it looks harder especially once Jordan Canada is healthy so um unfortunately haly Jes might not be super fantasy relevant in season long leagues but uh the the dreams back court is still looking very dangerous one note on Haley Jones before we go uh I I was kind of like high on her upside too going into last year and I was like there was one game that I can remember where she just went off so I had to look that up again and it was a loss to the aces2 100 loss to the aces she came off the bench played 30 minutes and Jones put up 23 points on eight of 133 shooting six boards five assists two steals only one turnover so the upside is there um you know just we we don’t know if she’ll be able to get enough playing time the dream should be competitive this year um but there is that upside and and I I don’t think you were you were wrong necessarily to be high on her I was also high on her so maybe one day she can get some PT and hopefully it’s not due to injuries or anything never hoping for that yeah for sure yeah that that’s one of the power of the aces uh they uh they make everyone around there around them look good uh but that does it for the second episode of the wnb of the Roa wire WNBA show thanks for joining us we will be back this Friday at 1M Central we’ll be talking about sleeper picks breakout candidates and bus candidates heading into the final weekend before the start of the regular season looking forward to it looking forward to it too see you later Jason see you
