For the first time since 2019, the Volvo China Open is returning to the DP World Tour schedule at Hidden Grace Golf Club in Shenzhen. Jordan Smith will be teeing it up in China this week. He’s on track to qualify for next month’s U.S. PGA Championship by virtue of his world ranking and performances to start the season. He played well to claim T2 at the Jonsson Workwear Open last month and solo fourth at the Dubai Invitational at the start of the year. He also finished 5T at this week’s venue in Shenzhen in 2019. Tom McKibbin will also be in the field this week. He’s claimed six top-20s so far this season – including a fourth-place finish at the Qatar Masters in February. Sebastian Söderberg will also fancy his chances this week. After claiming his second consecutive runner-up finish on the Asian Swing in Japan, the Swede climbed to eighth on the season-long Race to Dubai Rankings. He also claimed top-10s in Mauritius, Ras Al Khaimah and Bahrain which has put him in prime position to play in next month’s PGA Championship. Others to look out for are Dylan Frittelli, Yannik Paul and Alexander Levy.

cost him the title because I did the math I cheated I did the double drop he’s got 234 to the hole I did a little bit more math he’s got 195 to the front left edge of the green and say with that L i’ be hoping he get he gets to place it cuz that that nestled down quite nastily so yeah he’s going to get to place this he’s had two drops and right foots both times been on the edge of the cart path on the curb better better hold it like a rotten egg very soft so a slight break well Anthony in this situation he wants a flyer he needs to get it back there where the pin’s cut way over on the right if he gets it 35 ft left of the hole somewhere near hole High he’s given himself a chance but I think that’s the best he can hope for yeah [Music] got a great [Applause] line good result long long way from the hole though but he’s got that for a playoff penny for your thoughts Adrian he’s nearly ready to go now he needs this all of 100 ft to force a playoff [Applause] and like his charge today
