World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler is currently on a run of four wins in five starts including The Masters. His ball-striking has been nothing short of historic over the past two years and in this video, he is using the brand new P·UDI 3-iron teaching all of us how he hits that low, piercing stinger 226 yards with just 58 feet of apex.

hey y’all it’s Scotty here I have a new P Udi tailor made this is a three iron and today I’m just going to show you how I hit the low shot off of the T um when I’m hitting t- shots I still always use a t i don’t know if that’s popular with everybody but for me I like knowing that I’m just going to have a really good lie so always teed up even if I’m trying to hit it really low um I would say most important things when trying to hit the low shot is uh kind of the same principle where if I’m move the ball back in my stance I’m hitting it earlier on the arc which is going to cause the ball to hook if I move it way up I’m going to hit it later in the arc which is going to cause me to fade the ball um for the height sake always move the ball back when you’re trying to hit it low so ball back in the stance and this is my normal setup I then open up so that I’m swinging more down the path now cuz I’m not trying to put any curve on I’m just trying to hit a low straight ball that goes down the Fairway so good solid base I choke up on it the tiniest little bit that helps me get closer to the ball which actually helps me hit the ball even straighter and so pretty simple just basically those three things ball back open stance a little closer to it and that’s way the

  1. We’ve all tried all those things and cannot hit a stinger.
Theres a critical piece of information missing. The most critical piece of information

  2. taylormade, your video would get so many more views and much more interaction with a better thumbnail. I was surprised when I saw the video and saw it was from Taylormade's youtube, the thumbnail is very generic and basic.

  3. Oh cmon, this ain’t true. I tried it several times and couldn’t come close to your shot. 🤦🏽‍♂️
