is uh I don’t know if we’re gonna say but he’s making a great trip I think everybody’s happy to to hear about he’s making that trip yeah Trent Ryan so um breaking 90 is back breaking 90 is back and I’ll just say that um something’s happening with that I would say so something’s happening in some sort of trip um it’s exciting it’s very very exciting we’re we’re just going to be hitting it really really really hard just the we’re hitting the ground running we got a lot of videos coming out obviously um the stream song stuff is coming to an end now and we have um a lot of great stuff the Bob do Sports collaboration’s coming out um we’ve got breaking 90 coming out and yeah it’s just an exciting time right now this is this this is The Swinging season it’s the golf season we are hitting it I keep saying hitting it hard because that’s like one of our our taglines we are hitting it hard right now it’s non-stop traveling me and you just got back from like flying to Chicago and back like they were [ __ ] Ubers for this hockey video which I can’t and we don’t really have to get into the hockey talk I know we will but it’s [ __ ] my toes feel like they’re broken all the bones in my in my big toe and B feet feel like they have a million [ __ ] shards of glass in them from skating one day that is not an easy sport to play uh hockey if your equipment is not perfect in hockey especially your skates very similar to skiing if anybody’s ever gone skiing you rent like dog [ __ ] crap ski boots you’re [ __ ] your feet are [ __ ] they’re ripped up in spots you get pressure points blisters it’s a goddamn nightmare so all you guys that were written and skates or just rock and skates that aren’t yours the amount of standing around that we didn’t do we filmed this video I mean it’s the last two work trips I’ve done are those that um have been erased for my memory already like they didn’t actually exist it’s like airplane something actually happened airplane and then you’re just kind of home and you’re like that I don’t really remember that that’s how I feel about that Chicago trip but there was a point where for about an hour straight a bunch of you guys in rental skates were just standing up on carpet and I said that’s going to be a [ __ ] problem for those guys right there problem yeah so we travel a lot obviously at barcel sports that’s no there’s no denying that we’re all you know platinum diamond whatever medallions and all these um you know Airline um status people because we just fly the most and the mo and the more I think about that too it’s like when you see someone first class and when whenever you know when when when I was flying once a year and I was working at pellis and like going on a trip was like the biggest deal in the world and I would walk past first class I’d always be like oh there’s all like the rich people that are just better than us and smug and whatever and now that I’ve like I’ve become a frequent flyer you just realize first class is like the frequent flyer Club it’s really you could buy I had a ticket the other day um um in like row 32 and because of my status I got bumped up to seat two like there it really is nothing to do with the amount of money in your bank account if you just have to fly for work that’s where they put you because when you fly this much you have to sit up there you know what I mean it’s like a neity at some point we’re flying 120 times a year we flew to Chicago for this commercial for this umies this hockey series I got I I woke up in bed my wife’s like where you going I said Chicago and I got into an Uber I got on a plane at 8: a.m and I was back at home at 900 p.m. in my house laying down on the couch that same day I was like I looked at her when I got in the house and I I put on I put on a basketball game and I looked there I said can you believe I was in Chicago today like it was like the craziest [ __ ] feeling of all time uh I got a couple things travel related that I put in my notes uh and I’m going to lead with something positive we don’t do a lot of positive uh airlin related conversations on this show O’Hare international airports baggage delivery operation I’ve flown there twice in the last two or three weeks both times by the time I got two baggage claim my luggage was already circulating on the conveyor belt wow and both of those times you were there for one of them Frankie both of those times we were in first class so I had to be one of the first eight people off of the plane walk straight I didn’t go to any coffee shop I didn’t go to McDonald’s I didn’t go anywhere I went straight to baggage claim by the time I got there my bags were rotating on that [ __ ] and they have very clear signs pointing to what you do for oversized bag because we always fly with our golf clubs and you don’t know sometimes they come out on the normal belt sometimes you got to walk around [ __ ] the planet sometimes you might as well be in Hong Kong by the time you find them like you have no idea what to do there’s no signage I think in like Newark they come out on like Belt N and you might be on Belt 25 but you don’t know that so then you go ask somebody the whole thing’s a nightmare ohare fantastic baggage situation so I want to give them I don’t know what that operation is whatever they’re doing there that’s a huge airport too that’s one of the biggest airports in the world so fact that they’re able to get all that stuff there quickly amazing on the opposite side of it uh RDU Raleigh Durham air airport horrific and it’s a small airport and I’m talking the last two times I’ve been there I actually counted the other day because it tells you exactly on the American Airlines app it tells you exactly what time you pulled up to the gate so it’s not what time you touched down what time you pulled up the gate we pulled up at 10:08 p.m. and the first bag I did not see until 1056 so that is 40 8 minutes after we pulled up to the gate So within 5 10 minutes you’re standing at the baggage it was another 40 minutes after you’re standing in the baggage before people were like and there’s it’s one of those you’re in a [ __ ] situation there’s no one to talk to there’s no like you can’t even complain to anyone you’d just be yelling at the wall by yourself so you’re all just kind of standing there waiting for your bags it was like 11 o’clock at night so that was a nightmare but I get to give a shout out to O’Hare their baggage situation maybe that’s an anomaly but the last two times unbelievably good that is phenomenal there is nothing better there’s no better feeling than when you get off the plane you’re like thinking to yourself all right I probably have to bake in another 30 minutes to get off the plane to go get your bags but eliminated from the Stanley Cup Playoffs um that’s the 30th straight year of your life is that right yeah yep of my life yeah 30th straight year um bummer yeah it’s been like I think it’s been 40 years since they won the cup so yeah it’s uh it’s it’s bad I there’s been a I think they haven’t won the division since like 92 or something like that it’s like them and the Kings or I I think it could have been no the Kings couldn’t be maybe it is the Kings I saw them there’s like 28 teams that have won the division the last 20 something years and the Islanders were one of the teams that haven’t um yeah it’s uh you know they didn’t deserve they were never going to win that series against Carolina but but they didn’t have to do it like that to me it could have done it without the ripping your heart out backto back fashion two goals and and and the one from last night was shocking at how identical it was to where they didn’t even pick up the actual puck drop on the coverage they just the second they cut back the puck just spit out in front of the net and it was just in the net like you didn’t even you couldn’t believe at some point with everything that was happening in this series like game W it was 1-1 and the Islanders held Carolina to like 15 shots in the first like 50 minutes and you’re like holy [ __ ] we’re in Carolina they’re clearly the favorite they’re the they’re the odds on favorite to win the Stanley Cup they these are the guys we got a really really tough team to beat and we’re 1-1 in their building like let’s go they end up losing that game that’s a winnable game game two they get they jump out to that three- nothing lead they end up blowing that like with the two goals and eight seconds you have no you can’t even believe it happened game three at home you have a chance to win again you tie up the game you’re down one for a lot of the game you have you have a chance you end up losing that game at home a winnable game again because sokin gave up three goals in the first six shots and you had to pull them and then varlamov comes in and shuts them out while he’s playing you’re just like why’ they even make the goalie change the first two games game four they win and you’re like holy [ __ ] if we would have won one of those first two games three games it’s two2 going to Carolina and now in game five you tie you give up two goals in a [ __ ] blink of an eye there’s 16 minutes left in the first period you’re down one you’re down two and then you tie it up going three3 into the third period of a must-win backs against the wall game where I just describe you’ve been in every single game leading into it and you give up two goals in eight seconds again and it’s like who who upstairs doesn’t want the Islanders to win you know what I mean b pucks are [ __ ] around on the [ __ ] board shooting out in front of empty Nets even the the the fourth goal where it just bounces over Paso’s stick and the guy just slams into empty net it’s just like maybe God hates the Islanders you know I don’t know maybe or if this is a simulation whoever created it was like they [ __ ] despise orange and blue teams like they they hate the Mets the Knicks the Islanders they hate everything about that color scheme something just is offputting to the simulator people that like they’ll just never give us any sort of Hope no glimpse of happiness for my generation of orange and blue fandom you know it’s all these like Royal it’s all these like royal blue you know the Dodgers and obviously the Yankees for me the Navies they hate that they hate that blue and orange combo they [ __ ] despise it you know maybe the universe is trying to protect your father Mr burelli and they just know man this guy cannot take it any longer he can’t go into these series he needs to be more healthy cuz I that that’s the hardest part tuning into that footage it’s like you feel so bad for that guy that environment you guys are ready to erupt in there and it just goes the other way it really is kind of Dave sell and his soul to the devil where he he lives for those moments and boy those clips that he keeps retweeting from barelli’s the vibe is probably the best for a non like Stadium rink of any NHL related bandm bar restaurant in North America and every [ __ ] game you guys there’s just a clip of you guys getting your hearts ripped out of your chest ripped out and and the stuff that’s on video is onethird of how crazy that place is the front room at belli’s is double the size of the back room like you’ve got the bar you’ve got the whole front room the whole lobby area don’t that part is doubly packed than what you’re seeing on the screen so when they’re scoring goals I’m looking out behind the cameras at the TVs because we have these walls with TVs on them and obviously there’s two TVs facing all the people and then one in the middle and then it’s the same mirror image on the other side of the wall we close up like these French doors for private parties in the back so we have this whole wall in the middle and I’m looking out at this whole entire scene and there’s people jumping hanging from the lights like the bar has drinks flying up in it there’s there’s napkins going everywhere I mean you’re talking 200 people in the front 100 people in the back it’s chaos it’s [ __ ] chaos and then that Dead Silence of those goals against is just you can’t make it up so it’s something that gotten used to unfortunately and every year I I give it my all I do what I can as a fan I bring all the energy that I can and they just um you know it’s just one of those years man 26 blown third period leads this year good enough good enough to be in the lead not good enough to finish it I don’t know where you go from here you have a good enough core of players that can get you a lead and you just can’t finish it something’s got to change obviously we have the offseason now with Patrick W and for the 30th year in a row I will go into this playoffs just rooting against the Rangers now that’s just like what I have to do if I was just a regular fan and some [ __ ] we got that in common I’m on the Bruins and I’m on those Dallas Stars those are my two things uh my Blues didn’t make the playoffs so had to invest in something else the Bruins I bet in December so I want the Rangers to get destroyed as well I think that they’re underdogs aren’t they against the canes I saw already on the draftking sports book draftking sports book I think the canes are like plus 450 right now going into the series to win the cup so they are the odds on favorite right now that was before last night and I’m assuming I haven’t seen the updated um odds but I’m assuming that they are still the odds on favorite to win the Stanley Cup they’re good Freddy Anderson’s a little shaky I the Rangers I don’t know I don’t want to talk highly about the rangers ever in my entire life um but they definitely will give him more of a test than the Islanders did um it’s just will they be able to play as tight as the Islanders did the Islanders play a [ __ ] tight game like they they they do they when they want to when they want to lock it down they can first two games got away from them they give up like a hundred shots but U whatever man it is what it is people are going to be happy that they don’t have to hear about this [ __ ] anymore but another year that I have just root against my arch nemesis team and I hope they don’t win the Stanley Cup I [ __ ] hope they don’t I’ve we’ve seen some crazy games in hockey and in the Sixers game last night with the Knicks was oh that changed that ruined The Islander season by the way because you want you want to hear how this all happened do I want to hear about we’re w we have all Islander fans we’re all Nicks fans cuz no one’s a [ __ ] Brooklyn Nets fan that’s impossible even [ __ ] Frank the Tank’s a Nicks fan now um so you have 300 people there that they want to see the Knicks game everyone’s getting the updates and it just so happened that the Islanders game was going in into the third period so it’s in the second intermission and there’s two minutes left in the Knicks game we hadn’t put the Knicks on the screen once all night we’ve got 20 screens in the place so I went around with a [ __ ] cable vision remote like I’m at my house cuz that’s what bres is it’s my house and I’m just walking up to all the all the all the TVs and I’m changing them to to TNT and the place goes nuts the Knicks are up by four there’s like two minutes left and everyone’s like excited for the Knicks there’s a let’s go Nicks chant and this is not on the camera because it’s an intermission so now we’re getting down to the to the end of it there’s four SEC there’s 10 seconds left in the nick Sixers game I’m looking at one screen that has the Islanders coming back I’m like all right this is going to work perfectly they’re going to hit these free throws and then the game going to be over I could just switch it over and then [ __ ] they hit that dagger three to send it into overtime once that went in by Maxi once that went in I looked at my dad said that just changed everything in here because we had all the momentum we had just scored with eight seconds left in The Islander game to go to the third period we just we just tied up the game and now you’re now you’re you’re seeing the opposite of that you’re seeing the opposite team the Philly tie up the game and it just changed the Vibes in New York it’s like the axis of the World changed for a second you know what I mean you felt it in the air and it was the other one I was going to bring up was the Vancouver game when Vancouver came back against Nashville like they were getting outplayed the whole [ __ ] game it didn’t really feel like they had much all a sudden they scored two goals in the last like minute and a half one with a couple seconds left and they win like two minutes into overtime but that’s playoffs I just feel like you don’t see that as much in regular season and then playoffs everything [ __ ] flips everybody’s nervous you can tell you can sense it when it’s slipping away and I had the six plus four and a half last night I almost told him turn off the [ __ ] TV with like 30 seconds left they’re down like six the Knicks are at the free throw line it was something like that it’s over uh and then Philly comes back and wins so that game was great um but yeah feel for you the Islanders I almost almost put I almost bet the Islanders to win that series before the series started just because the canes feel like uh almost like a Tampa did a few years ago almost like Boston did last year like such a solid team everybody’s so high on that I thought they could get upset by a team like the Islanders I like the Islanders they beat us in a scramble which makes me think that they’re you know capable of winning uh but I’m glad that I didn’t I feel for you as a you know I know that’s your that’s your livelihood that’s your team I um you know you guys are happy with W I feel like and yeah we’re h i mean you got to be happy about that it’s just we don’t have many prospects you don’t know what’s going to happen now have we seen the last of our guys Matt Martin and Cal Clutterbuck that’s like the identity of the Islanders it’s been the fourth line you know you start the game you send out Matt Martin the bash Brothers they go out there they hit people The Crowd Goes Crazy they’ve been you know Matt Martin he went he had that little stint in Toronto for like two years but he’s been a lifelong Islander he he is what the Islanders are Cal Clutterbuck alltime NHL leader in hits thousand games played you missed like you’re losing the identity of your team if these guys are if this is the end of their Road and I love those guys they’re they’re some of my best friends uh that I’ve been able to make um on that team so um yeah that’s going to suck and then you know Brock Nelson coming into his last year of his contract you just don’t know what the future of this of this core holds and um I’m excited to see what the changes are going to be like you as a fan you want some like you want you want some more action going forward you don’t want to just like roll over and die but you know let’s go Patty W like now you get the reins you and Lou get to cook something up and let’s [ __ ] let’s get this thing back on track it’s a little too early for me to be thinking about next year I’m still grieving I’m in the grieving process so for me this is my favorite time of the year we got it’s you know the beginning of kind of golf season and almost anywhere around the country or you’re a month or two into it we got sports are just like God [ __ ] me NHL NBA playoffs going on at the same time every night there’s three five six games going on it’s [ __ ] great it’s such a fun time so uh so there’s a lot to look forward to let’s go not Rangers let’s go Bruins let’s go stars stars a from him hitting the t-shot off of his knees in front of us they did an incredible job of cutting it perfectly to where we were [ __ ] was that at any moment uh not even close to it there was uh zero real I don’t think credit from anything um that involved us they had the NBC logo on it I don’t know how that works like I I feel like we just get bodied around the ring with all dmca C and D stuff from everything that possibly do and then they just took our video and put an NBC logo on it is the is the only way that I could think of is if that was is the footage that they used from one of the tailor made cameras and not no that was our camera it was as good as yeah I don’t know that was that was stunning um I mean very very cool to me like just seeing tiger watch that back and knowing that was pretty mad when I saw that clip like the fact that they cut around us is and I’m a Jimmy Fallon I went to The Tonight Show like I CED I cried at The Tonight Show I teared up not because of Jimmy Fallon not because of the content but because of the theatrics of it all I went there like seven or eight years ago I sat there The Roots were playing the Lights Went Down The Smoke came out and like the announcers is like you guys ready for The Tonight Show and I said [ __ ] yeah I’m Ready the music started playing the the curtain opened and I teared up like I was like this is [ __ ] Showbiz right here this is sick I’m getting a peak behind the curtain this is like no pun intended this is unbelievable and uh and then he went and showed our biggest moment in our career and he [ __ ] didn’t he didn’t say a word about us Jimmy Fallon what the [ __ ] was that that’s our video and I you know I know the tailor made guys like I I’m sure way like if you ever if anybody’s watched Entourage and shout out to Kevin kyly I know that he’s banned from Burell as he should be the whole deal ruin season a scene when Vince is about to go on I think it’s a tonight’s show and it’s like e is like prepping the people about stories about Vince and the whole deal and I know Taylor Made folks somebody was prepping them and they they sent in the video it’s like something that tiger could talk about during these five minutes whatever the [ __ ] it is and go through it so prop to that but it I mean it might as well have been the good good guys video I mean it didn’t we weren’t featured in any way it didn’t really show us at all which was a shame I would have loved tiger or Mr Fallon to say something and they didn’t say anything they didn’t have any logo or anything credit on there now we’re not going to sit here we’re not in the business of like begging for credit so it is what it is I just would have liked to seen a little bit of something on there that’s you know it felt a little felt a little icky to me if when I saw it like I me yeah NBC it’s the whole [ __ ] they don’t want to show bar stool it’s and and if anyone says that that’s not it you’re [ __ ] lying cuz I’ve I’ve watched the tonight’s show and when they have a clip from a an actor’s new movie they’ll show three minutes of it you know what I mean like it’s not like it was a crunch for time you have Tiger Woods hitting on his knees there’s way more context to that video where tiger like challenged you and said oh nice drive rig’s like I’m going to beat you from my knees like how do they not show the context of that dude some like uh there was the way they phrased it too was almost like they they painted it like some schub uh challenge you to a long drive and you just defeated him from your knees and I was like no he it was his whole [ __ ] idea it was our video we’re the ones we got them on the [ __ ] range we’re doing the thing I like the video doesn’t really pop unless you have that context of like these are normal guys they’re the biggest Tiger Woods fans in the world they’re so goddamn nervous hitting shots in front of him here he is giving them pointers they’re hitting shot shot they hitting good shots one guy hits a great one then tiger hits an even better one from his knees ah everybody goes crazy hooray and they just kind of showed it and so yeah cool that our video made it on to the tonight’s show very very cool probably made it on the tonight’s show more because it’s Tiger Woods than because it involved us in our cameras but still yeah it it would have been a little nicer I feel like if we got a little bit of love there would have been unbelievable it would have been when I saw he was on there I’m like holy [ __ ] look at this Tiger Woods and then they show the clip I’m like holy [ __ ] yep not on there uh not on there uh big announcement kind of um our buddy Alistar doer we’re gonna we’re going to shift next week is playing in the Myrtle Beach PGA Tour event it’s the Myrtle Beach Classic uh Alistair is on the corn fairy tour this second year on the corn fairy tour I’ve had him on the show a bunch he’s been involved a bunch of our events obviously he’s the only athlete for us that we sponsor in the world we got merch he wears all of our gear pretty much head to toe when he plays he’s got the hats he’s got the shirts he’s got the hoodies he’s got all of it um been grinding on the corn fairy tour he got sick at the beginning of this year which sucked because he was playing the best golf of his life missed the first couple of events um battled back couple weeks ago he was inside the top five uh in the final round he made a late triple but still finished 20s something he’s right around that 80 something in the points for the year top you know I think 75 or so gets you like really solid status top 25 gets you like PJ T car so he’s still got a lot of opportunity out there but long story short um a good friend of our Shawn Riley who um is incredibly connected with a ton of different events including the Myrtle Beach Classic he kind of came to me with a little bit of an idea like a month or so ago and he said hey you know I know you guys have a relationship with Myrtle Beach I know you guys have done a bunch of stuff with them obviously they’re having their first PJ Tour event in Myrtle Beach history which I didn’t realize I thought it was a little bit of a while it had been a delay whatever it was I was looking on it says on their Myrtle Beach Classic website this the first PJ Tour event they’ve ever had in Myrtle Beach which is [ __ ] crazy it’s golf capital of the world they got tons of courses there um Alistair was able to basically by us saying yeah I’m gonna go so next week I’m gonna go I’m gonna be there Monday and Tuesday we’re going to promote it talk about the event hype up the event um they’ve been doing great with ticket sales but basically said I think we could get Alistar a sponsors ex exemption and there’s a bunch of connections to that the biggest one is essentially that Al is like the nicest most well-liked guy in the world and in Scottsdale over the last several years he’s gotten to know a bunch of people we play a little Saturday game in the afternoon at greyhawk there’s six to 10 of us on any given Saturday we throw balls we literally play for five bucks we have a great time alist is part of that game whenever he’s in town Sean Riley’s part of that game he kind of set the connection these CMC designs guys who um do all of our head covers and golf accessories they’re big supporters of Alistar long story short able to get him a sponsor’s exemption into the tournament Alice will be playing second second PGA Tour event ever will be next week he played in the 2019 Barracuda which I believe he Monday qualified into I’ll have to check with that but I believe he Monday qualified into that colum more K won that event by the way um this is the second ever PJ Tour event and we’ve talked about in this show a [ __ ] ton the difference between these corn fairy tour guys and PJ tour guys look at Jake nap Jake nap a year or two ago was in the same [ __ ] place alist doer is in now and we just had him couple weeks ago come from his first ever practice round with the Masters and did a live show with us while Alistair was sitting there in the crowd so if he goes plays incredibly well next week that’s the entire point of sponsored exemptions this could change the kid’s life getting that experience having that opportunity he’s 30 years old he’s been grinding he’s such a good player anybody who’s met him which Frankie you’ve met him he’s come to the Barcelo Classics a bunch all of our producers have met him followed him around at the uh nv5 Invitational presented by Old National Bank last year he’s just the [ __ ] best everybody loves him roots for for him so he’s playing the um the Myrtle Beach Classic next week PJ Tour event and uh I’m going to go there Monday Tuesday and just kind of hype up the event ticket sales have been off the charts I believe they I was talking to the guy yesterday if you buy a ticket they’ve got concerts that are right on the beach Thursday and Saturday night you get free admission by having just a general ticket um so it’s going to be fun event I’m going to go there for a couple days alistair’s playing uh which is a very cool thing for our guy yeah it’s great I mean if anything it just builds them confidence you’re playing in a Big Field you’re playing with other pros and just you know keep this thing moving forward that’s what that’s all Alistair has to keep doing is just keep improving it’s like when we do breaking 90 with Trent let’s just keep building off of the good stuff that we can build off of don’t take any of the negatives with it you’re playing on the corn fairy tour you’re getting exemptions into PJ tour events this is all this is all amazing stuff and he’s putting himself in a in a chance and in a spot to succeed um and it’s something more than 99% 99.99999% of golfers in this world get an opportunity to do so we’re rooting for him we we we think we hope that he takes advantage of this amazing opportunity and I think he will I mean he’s ready for it the guy is ready for this his game is so good everybody talks about that everybody whenever you bring him up that’s in the connected in the golf space World whatever especially in Scott like holy [ __ ] that guy’s so good the way he hits the ball so fired up for him I know a bunch of his family’s flying in for it PJ Tour event as big as it gets if he plays well obviously he can kind of change his life but like you said build momentum put yourself in those positions he was in the hunt a couple weeks ago and it’s like the more you get comfortable in those spots obviously the better you’re going to perform when you get in those spots in the future so awesome stuff for Alistair I’m going to be at the mer when you’re an exemp when you’re an exemption you can and you finish him first you just get you get the money right you get [ __ ] yeah unb you get dude you get all the get the points you get everything you get everything you get you know if now it’s like an I think they have the uh which I was surprised by they have Quail Hollow next week so that’s like the elevated event so all the guys that are not in the top whatever it is 60 or 70 that are not at Quail Hollow will be at the Myrtle Beach Classic next week and so all those guys will be playing for exactly what this is it’s like kind of what Jake knap what where it’s like dude if you can go out there play well that week win then you’ve got status then you’ve got these exemptions then you’ve got all the stuff that kind of comes with winning and you go out there play well the amount that you earn from all that is [ __ ] enormous so it’s a massive like about as big of a week as our guy can have for a kid who’s been chasing golf his whole goddamn life and you’re taking out the top 60 70 players that are in the world in the world get them out of here ship them over North Carolina no later has he had that baby yet when the hell is that baby coming out because we’ve got we’re we’re a week and a half swe we were sweating Sunday of the Masters as if this guy was basically going to play in like the in his scrubs in his hospital scrubs like he would have to go straight to the hospital from Augusta Georgia I I mean I would assume and knowing how quiet and how like reserved and how away from all the mainstream media Scotty is I’m sure like he would never tell anyone until it’s like been two or three weeks um I just showing up to the PGA being like yeah baby baby’s a month old already you know like like everyone’s like what the [ __ ] like yeah we had it Thursday of yeah we had it Thursday of the Masters no one even car like no one knew I know he’s got to get that baby figured out I mean we’re going to be that’s why I was a little surprised the quail follow on the schedule it’s a week the week before the PGA Championship so it’s like now these guys pretty much have to play back-to-back week big tournaments with the second week being a major I feel like they’re they don’t really do that very often so kind of the scheduling sort of um sort of surprised me with that uh yeah they’re doing elevated events they did one right after because RBC was one as well right so they did one right after the Masters and they do one right before the PGA I mean I kind of do like that you’re CU golf then just kind of owns like the two week periods you stay stay hot like the Masters you were always going to watch the next event because you just want to watch more golf because you’re watching the Masters and now you have the best golfers in the world playing again and now for this it’s like hey let’s see how these guys are playing leading into another major I kind of like that I like the leadin I’m sure they do too it’s going to keep them on top of their game you’re gonna see the best golf during the majors because of this and qu Hollow is a major championship course so I I I’m with you I mean I I don’t mind it I just was surprised by it because I feel like these guys you know one of their one of their things they do like to [ __ ] about is scheduling and you know they get burned out and so kind of almost forcing their hand to play in the week before seemed a little bit surprising to me but I’m with you this is happy year like I said I’m hyped up there’s so you get sweet golf for two weeks straight during the day and then at night we got hockey playoffs NBA playoffs it’s a fantastic time there’s baseball going on so I I I enjoy it I dig it I’m a little bit surprised by the scheduling but let’s get those top make judgments of off if I like his tweets or not this one I think he I think he hated this right he’s like they like missed the ball on this they missed the mark on this on this golf course Choice um and like again that could just be fake news I don’t know what he said I think that’s what he said um I love it like I wish that there would be a m I wish that there would be a [ __ ] PJ Tour event at at the Eisenhower blue like I want to see just guys playing the golf courses that you know Billy Bob Joe the the guy who fixes my car on Tuesdays also plays like that’s [ __ ] cool that’s why Beth Page is incredible you can have all these insane people walking down the fairways with jean shorts on the week before a professional golf tournament that’s I mean you can’t script anything better than that of course you love the masters of course you love the prim Ander the walking on eggshells what when when it when it when it’s due for it when when the time calls for it but [ __ ] you’re gonna show you’re gonna show me Brayson Des Shambo and Brooks kka and cam Smith and all these guys at am mun where [ __ ] jer Jersey Jerry in Chicago is just going to go play like with all his buddies the next week that’s insane I loved it I honestly loved it I when I saw the same announcement I don’t know all the details I don’t know if it’s going to have the wherever they played in like Tulsa I remember there they got a bunch of [ __ ] for the greens looked like crap and they were kind of [ __ ] and whatever and obviously if it’s in dog [ __ ] shape you start to get into a little bit of like the Integrity of competition versus fine I get that but on the overall if they get that place into pretty solid shape and it’s just a [ __ ] mun that people play for 30 bucks on any given weekend and then they shut that [ __ ] down for a week and they have the live individual Championship there I think that’s awesome I’m into that we’ve talked about how cool it is when major championships go to mun I think we had a really good talk a couple years ago about how the PGA Championship which as we all know struggles the most of all the majors to really claim an identity compared to the other four that the the PGA Championship when they when they reached their claw out and snatched Beth pagee black in 2019 I think about that time it started to inspire us to say that [ __ ] major should just own going to munis going to public courses that anyone has access to playing and I know the USGA and the US Open were kind of the first to start leaning into that Pebble Beach and and Piner you know number two are a little bit of a hybrid in that in that yeah they’re obviously publicly accessible I’m at Piner right now I love to Rave about it I think everybody everybody that’s into golf should do whatever that you got to do save up the money and do a trip like this at least once in a lifetime because if you love golf it’s the coolest thing that you could ever do it’s so fun the whole deal but it’s a little bit of like you got to stay on property you got to book a tea time for three5 $700 whatever it is that ain’t the same thing as going to like you said Beth Page black and we always use that as an example Frankie got married there we have a great connection to it I didn’t really know that much about Beth pagee black till I moved to New York in 2016 we started doing the golf stuff by 2018 17 2018 started to get more of a feel for Beth Page jumped out there once or twice the fact that that place if you have a New York state ID I believe on Saturday Sunday morning still to this day you could play Beth paage black for like 70 or 75 bucks New York State yep New York State resident you can play for less than $9 let’s call it I don’t know if it’s gone up $5 since I last played last year but yes it’s it’s 85 bucks I mean and if I if I legitimately sat down and put out my own personal rankings of my favorite golf courses I’ve ever played in my life Beth Page black is in my top 10 or 15 every sing time that course is [ __ ] awesome there’s no water there’s no there’s no mountains there’s no beach yet the way it just carves its way through the natural Topography of Long Island every hole is so incredibly different the eighth hole where you hit it over that pond is just like one of my favorite par 3es in the world the 18 hole even if you take out all the people bitching about whenever uh Lucas Glover hit like a six iron off the T for an any normal golf for that closing hole after you play 17 which is this huge sick Amphitheater and then you come down 18 you’re looking at the clubhouse up there all these courses come together it’s elevated shot like that course is unbelievably cool and the fact that they host Majors there where locals can go play it for under hundred bucks on the goddamn weekend still is so sick it sort of it sort of enhances the Synergy between golf at the highest level and golf at the lowest level you could be a 35 handicap go out there scrape it around you’re terrible but you enjoy it and you have such a good time and you’re playing the same goddamn golf course that the best players the world world are playing so when I saw that I sort of it brought up all those feelings for me now if it’s in dog [ __ ] shape or whatever you might get to if it if it’s playing laughable and these guys shoot 12 under every round then you kind of get to a point of like okay you can’t just host it any mun I don’t know all those details i’ never been to this place but I’m with you I saw the headline when it came across my radar I was like [ __ ] yeah let’s do more big professional golf tournaments at mun basically absolutely I mean I know that there’s been YouTube videos where guys certainly like the Brian Bros who are professional golfers in their own right they play on the PGA tour they play in PGA Tour events um they play like munique courses and there’s been other guys that have gone out that have played these courses that everyone that everyone can play and they see how low they can go I really really really have had so I want so badly to bring a Max Hom OR a Kevin kizner or whatever to like Eisenhower blue the dead straight 5800 yard like there’s there’s rocks in the bunkers like how well could they play out there no [ __ ] grass around the greens you’re chipping off like dirt mixed with weeds I mean is is not that bad it’s just easy it’s just it’s like Fair T te green te green te green just maybe one dog leg left but no trees right like I would love like are they going to shoot a [ __ ] 54 you know I mean or is actually like the greens are so bad that I do think a lot of the public golfers like belief is the defense of the course is how bad it is like I think that’s bit right like no you can’t make pots because the greens suck you can’t chip it clothes because every lie is different you’re like sitting in half of a [ __ ] dirt hole and it’s like you’re in the middle of Fairway and it’s like this patchy lie and it’s just not as easy to get it close and if you don’t get it really close you can’t make as many putts I don’t know if it’s on that I think that’s why it’s such a good experiment like I don’t know if it’s closer to that side of it or if it is like no dude 58 like they’re literally going to hit it onto the Green in less than regulation on hole worst case they two Putt and shoot 50 it’s like okay [ __ ] get it right right so I I’m with you and I yeah and it’s it’s live why not try different [ __ ] so I’m I thought that was really cool I saw they got some like I and green and I saw some of the you know some of the more pus golf accounts out there were like starting to [ __ ] on it and mock the whole thing already which probably made me love the idea even more uh so good for live I like that they’re going to mun I think more more like top tier tournament uh should go to mun that’s kind of a it’s kind of a take we’ve had for a long time um you mentioned kiz I saw a nice quote from kiz kiz is in such an interesting spot uh I think it was digest I think he was on with um some of the Golf Digest guys shout out to Dan rapid port’s former former employers uh and he his quote was because you know they’re essentially saying hey it feels like you could roll right into that NBC uh analyst TV gig which is probably the second second or third like biggest job in golf broadcasting that one could hold and you could roll into that right now as a 39-year-old and have that job for 20 or 30 years if you would like and his response was I have to prove to myself that I’m not going out like this and it was a great it was a great little point because I it’s one of the top questions that we get asked at bar stool classic when you run into people at the bar on a golf course and that you get chitchatting about golf you know they hit you with Liv stuff they hit you with tiger and then they hit you a lot with like what’s your boy kid going to do and I did I did like that because it’s like dude this is a prideful guy he’s everybody knows he’s had that Bulldog mentality Georgia dogs the whole deal he does not as a guy who was top 15 top 20 in the world for a long long time who played in the President’s Cup should have been on a rider Cup team at some point in our opinion nearly won the PLAYERS Championship if he didn’t lip out a couple times contended at a British Open a few times like a [ __ ] stud player over the last decade he doesn’t want to go out where it’s like Mis cut Mis cut miscut but he did the whole mountain man thing last year and took time off and he basically said he’s like I don’t even you he’s so honest like I don’t even necessarily have to come back and win he’s like I need to go out when there’s a really good field at some point and [ __ ] compete and know that all this work that I did that I was able to get it back to the point where I could compete with the best players in the world and I thought like that made a ton of sense to me yeah he’s playing this week at the CJ cup I saw his name in there which is exciting and then yeah I mean let’s go like once I saw his name I was like holy [ __ ] kid is let’s just keep grinding at this thing you’re one of the best golfers on the planet regardless of how you’re playing that is a fact Kevin kizner is and always will be one of the best golfers on the planet whenever you’re a [ __ ] PJ tour pro that’s one multiple events and you made how much money has this [ __ ] guy made in this in this I5 million I want to say it might be near 30 to$ 35 million Kevin I mean come on dude yeah like let him let him finish out this incredible career he’s been able to carve out for himself with like you know with this head held high so he’s made 30 uh he’s made $29 million from official tournaments 1.1 million from unofficial tournaments and his uh his estimated career earnings I think when they include everything are about 35 million you know let this guy walk down the fer with his head held high one last time if that’s what he’s looking for like like like let me see a great outing out of Kevin kizner come on now like keep the and then you know what’s going to happen he’s going to get that fire again’s going to keep going like that’s that’s the kind of guy he is kind of guy he is no I I agree and he kind of said something to to the effect of like yeah if I get it to back to where I can where I truly do really compete and give it a run he’s like then I honestly might be comfortable hanging it up and I was like I don’t know if that’s true because I do think he’s going to get that fire back in him and to work that hard and get it back I mean golf’s [ __ ] impossible we’ve all been there before we’ve all played well at some point relative to our skill level felt like you’ll never lose it and then boy when you do lose it it feels possible to get it back and it [ __ ] sucks and It’s a Grind I can’t even imagine when you’ve played golf that well to go out there and look I played nine holes with kids at a difficult ass Golf Course the week of Phoenix Open and he made I think six birdies in nine holes and then he goes out the next week on tour and misses the cut and shoots you know 78 you’re like what in the literal [ __ ] he’s like yeah I know I when I play golf normally I’m really good and I go out on tour and you just hit some misses that you never [ __ ] hit the wheels start to come off next thing you know you add it up and you were like 25 Strokes behind the guy that won he’s like it’s crazy infu so that’s got to drive him crazy so obviously rooting for kid I know we like to [ __ ] around he probably chirps us we chirp him more as much as anybody but at the end of the day everybody’s rooting for that guy I would love to see demise of the Islanders was that that Kevin Connelly was the reason for why they lost and I texted Jerry today and I said we got to figure out this Connelly situation because I can’t I can’t have what just happened be like in the in the universe like you can’t be saying that like the reason the Islanders lost is because this guy owes you money it’s like I now you’re [ __ ] like my dad now is like gonna go into another procedure because you are owed money because now it’s in your jurisdiction now it’s in your jurisdiction it’s like you have to handle that he’s ruining burelli now like this is bad like Kevin Connelly needs to figure this [ __ ] out it’s not Jerry’s fault this is Kevin this is all on Kevin so I said Jerry you have Kevin Connelly’s phone number do you like communicate with him yeah I don’t have his number but I have we’ve DMD on Twitter and Instagram for 10 years now even before I was working at berell uh before I was working at parcel cuz he used to come to berell we Jerry Now Jerry thought that he was being wronged by Dave pory during the writer cup and we were out in Pinehurst and one thing led to another we had a grudge match okay Dave uh Dave said that he thinks he could beat Jerry Jerry said that he thinks he could be him $10,000 was on the line and they played a match at Pinehurst um I think and I asked Jerry this if we were to offer Kevin Connelly the option because this whole thing stemmed from a golf video he went on spitting chicklets he went on a sandbagger it turned into this whole [ __ ] storm that no one ever should have done anything with Kevin Connelly and they had to take the video down the whole entire deal J Jersey Jerry’s been on our Channel doing Grudge matches against Dave he’s going to be in our videos now coming up after we go to Chicago for pup Punk which is also coming up we’ve got a lot of things but Jersey Jerry’s going to be in whole series that we have and I thought what would be better than if we offer Kevin Connelly the chance if you beat Jersey Jerry in a golf match you owe him zero and the beef is completely over Jersey Jerry has to be sworn in to never say a bad thing about him he has to pump Entourage whatever the whatever we say the agreement is going to come down to we’ll write it all in in the fine print they will put pen to paper and they will agree they will shake hands and if if Jersey Jerry wins he is owed the money he is he he earns the money that he is rightfully owed and that Kevin Connelly has not given to him regardless of what Connelly thinks he’s owing him or whatever Jersey Jerry clearly thinks that he has owed a certain amount of money that is what he will get paid if he wins this golf match and then at the end of that solution the beef is then squashed as well right they played man on man they played golf They had a match whoever wins that that’s where it happens Kevin Connelly has everything to play for because he either doesn’t owe him however much $30,000 $40,000 however much it might be I just think that’s that I mean I we could tweak this Stakes I think a little just because I think that’s that’s a little unfair to Jerry and that it’s like he’s already owed X why does he now have to do something to receive X Jerry has agreed already wow see ier I I get that he probably thinks there’s no end to the road currently other than maybe this should go because you should always be getting check like you get all I have I’m a I’m as a Italian I have all these like things on me you know that could like be getting bigger and smaller and you never know when you’re when you’re exposed the Sun that was my big thing so I went to dermatologist today for the first time I think in my life and I just a 37y old adult were in the sun all the time I do put on a lot of sunscreen but anyways went to the dermatologist I had like a really small little thing in the back of my leg that I didn’t think was anything it hasn’t really grown it doesn’t hurt or anything but I was like I should just get just checked out turns out she said this is nothing uh if you really want if it’s convenient you know we could numb it up and have it removed we always send that away just to check it but I I know what this is this is pretty much nothing which is obviously a relief thank God it’s been there for like a year all good but then we start talking a little bit I’m going to do the full body scan just because I’ve never done one before we started talking about you know I said hey I am I’m out in the sun almost every day for four or five hours at least play a lot of golf host events whatever it is I put on sunscreen and she started talking about these Sun Sleeves you know that people we wear a lot of the caddies wear those things uh as like recommendations and then she said something she said you know sunscreen by the way uh only lasts 80 minutes and then after that you know it’s pretty much and I was like I’ve heard a lot of these you know um old wives tales about how sunscreen pretty much like doesn’t 80 minutes I yeah I looked at her and I said I said look like I know if I go outside and I don’t put on sunscreen at all I’m gonna wake up the next day and I’m gonna be sunburnt I know now face right now I didn’t put any on today you got a red face red face I know that that exactly that’s going to happen to me if I don’t put on sunscreen if I put on sunscreen even if I don’t reply all day and I’m outside for 6 hours I don’t get burnt anywhere unless I miss the spot and so I was sort of like what’s the deal with that and she was like yeah it only lasts 80 minutes and that was kind of the only answer that I got and so I was like there’s that that can’t be [ __ ] true right I mean sunscreen lasts 80 minutes I what the rest of the day I would just get burned if that’s true right so I didn’t I don’t know if they’re just like do they work for unless there’s a difference between like getting unless there’s a difference between getting burned and like whatever would happen that she’s saying is like bad General Badness for your skin mutations of skin or whatever like I don’t you know what I mean I don’t know she is an organ so maybe she’s saying like bro she had me being like I like if I show up to our next filming and I’ve got like head to toe obviously you can just wear pants you wear pants but like if I’ve got the Sun Sleeves on is that Ian is that Preposterous if I do that I don’t think I mean yeah they definitely scare the living [ __ ] out of you with with like stuff like that I think that if you put on sunscreen and you and you like reapply on the back night I think you’re generally pretty decent I mean there’s people that go like today I put on zero and like my I’m I want to stick my [ __ ] face in like in a tub of ice so like I know that that’s incorrect um if I went to this lady she’d be like yeah like that that was wrong um I think you’re fine I don’t know I mean than it’s great that you got checked if there’s anything that’s on you then you have to be super cautious right like the just Thomases of the world that find something on the back of his leg you had to get like scalped off and you had to get surgery to take out like precancerous like you know mutations that’s where holy [ __ ] I better I know the reason I really hit up the dermatologist too was I saw that N I think it was Ninja the streamer who posted like three weeks or a month ago that he goes to like the dermatologist every year just gets scin and thank God that he does cuz they found a mole and the mole turned out to be cancerous and luckily they caught it incredibly early and he was able to go through the stuff that now I think he said he’s cancer free but like that scared the [ __ ] out of me for sure some guy who never gets checked ever and everything that I understand about this cancer situation is that if you catch it really early there’s a good chance you’re gonna be fine if you catch it late you’re [ __ ] so it’s like try to catch stuff early it’s good to just get checked on everything I’m going to get blood checked tomorrow I haven’t I haven’t given my blood to someone that checks blood like I haven’t given my blood to someone in like four years so like I need to start figuring all that [ __ ] out and I’m excited about that I’m excited to give blood it is good I uh I did that like a year ago at a physical and I will say when you you know they give you like [ __ ] 30 results from your blood test you know of like here are your levels here and they’re almost all green but there’s a few of them that are either like yellow or orange or red whatever and boy it’s almost like WebMD where it just the whole thing exists to scare the [ __ ] out of you and there were like a couple that weren’t in the green that I you just you just Google them what this means and it pretty much says you’ve got like a week left it’s pretty much says every time that you look it up you ever see the Billy Reuben one where like you just can’t have another alcoholic drink I had one buddy that like his Billy Reuben was high I think that’s like his liver and they were like you can’t have if you have one more drink of alcohol you’re going to die and he’s like he like won’t drink anymore we’re like dude you probably went to go get your [ __ ] physical like oh I think he went after a bachelor party so like his his levels were out of control why would you go to a [ __ ] why would you go to that after after drinking binge drinking for seven days dude today they hand me the [ __ ] iPad you know and you go through all your stuff like what who you are one of the one of the things was like uh you do you uh you a smoker no non-smoker the next one is like are you an alcohol consumer yes and then the next one was uh how many days in a year in the last year have you consumed five or more alcoholic drinks and I was just scrolling to get to the option that’s like you know more than 15 or something and all they gave you was 1 2 3 4 all the way down to 365 so then I’m sitting there like what cuz I mean you go out on the anytime you’re pretty much playing golf the answer is over five and a right I mean if you have I mean I wasn’t going to drink today and I I did because it was tasty and it was it was an exciting time but um like we did a video by Fireball today and like our tea toown was like 8:30 and it was a Wednesday and I just like made a birdie and I had to I just ripped a fireball shot and I was just like now I’m just drinking which is it was awesome but that’s something I just like wasn’t prepared for in in the beginning of the day like when I woke up at 7:30 a.m. after the Islanders got eliminated for the playoffs I didn’t think that that’s how I was going to start my day and I did I definitely was that happened to me today so that was exciting and that’s what I’m saying but also it’s like it just get it just comes to you fast I’m like bro it’s not like I’m going out shotgunning four beers in three minutes like we’re doing a [ __ ] Troy video at stream song but like okay I’m out there on the front nine the car girl Drives By you’re chitchatting your buddy’s like ah it’s nice how let get a cold one you get a couple truly hard seltzers tequila for the front nine next you know you have a couple in the back nine you have a [ __ ] you have a little uh 19th hole action I mean you’re at five right there you even try to drink that day so it’s like I’m sitting there scrolling through it dude I just I got to 50 and I was like all right there 365 days in the year 50 that would be like once a week it’s definitely more than once a week so is it twice a week now I got to put a 100 in here and I was like I didn’t know what to do so I just panicked and said like 75 and scrolled to the next one oh yeah right right like I mean what’s difference 75 110 like is that really going to show any difference I don’t know yeah they know what’s going on that’s kind of what I figured um couple other things real quick golf ball update so we had uh we had a a from the gallery recently that was like hey what do they do with all the golf balls at a Tour event because they send the manufacturers send all these golf balls in they have a million balls on the Range that these guys hit for seven days straight they’re hitting a trillion balls they got to have a bunch there so I reached out to our good friends at taylormaid and they were like that’s actually a really good question we’re not sure they did a little bit of research our boy Mike Essie Mike barboy and what I came up with which I thought was incredibly interesting they said the course the golf course uh either decides to keep them or donate them to the first te or a similar charity courses get their range balls well in advance from manufacturers so there’s not really an opportunity for a passing off period because one of my questions was like do they just roll them into the next event right right like they just keep like they’re just range balls like they only get hit however many times can they they said nope and then they said some courses also might be tailor made courses or whatever another manufacturer so they can’t keep competitor balls and they just donate them to charity so all these balls out there are just being used a little bit for a week and then a lot of them just get donated to charity yeah dude when we played at the RBC Heritage in that proam it’s like they have these buckets these garbage cans filled with whatever manufacturer and and variation of their ball that is available in the world you just walk up and I grabb 40 tailor made tp5 x’s and I just threw them down and they were pristine perfect brand new golf balls I’m thinking to myself each sleeve of these is like you know I mean it’s like a decent amount of money just how many balls are out there it’s absurd but that’s nice to know that they keep moving it’s not I mean what else would they do with them just keep them in a a ball Warehouse or they just throw them out they’re not throwing out golf balls in this economy [ __ ] thousands the golf balls they’re just giving away charity which is which is nice it’s very nice to see another thing came across my radar how about this [ __ ] stat in 2002 this comes out of left field I just saw again I think it was golf I just posted it and I I said what 2002 retif gusen missed one putt inside of five feet the entire year he was 27 out of 218 on putts inside of 5T for the entire year that that is 5 feet is no joke I said dude you go out and you drop a four and A2 foot putt let’s say he had 50 of those throughout the year and then a three and a half foot putt he had another a hundred of those like how what what are you talking about inside of that might show that his lag putting was better than like you can even imagine because a ton of those might be inside of two feet which is kind of like anybody can make that yeah yeah how [ __ ] nuts is that 27 out of 218 what’s the one he missed you think F I know I know I was wondering it’s like 4 feet 11 inch slider right God I missed a I’ve been missing a couple of those recently it’s just like it’s so when you play some of these courses that have very very fast greens and you’re just so defensively putting and you like you’re thinking more don’t let this next one go too far to miss the next one and you then that once that enters your brain it’s over you miss that three foot 4ot putt you miss it instantly you just desell it misses short side and you’re like [ __ ] and then the comebacker you could put upside down if you want it goes in like it’s never even a problem and you’re like why the [ __ ] did I stress over that dude one thing I’m learning is exactly what you just said I think going forward and Alistair actually talked to me about this I think almost anything inside of six feet you need to just drill in the back of the hole I’m not great with that CU I’m more of like I like to drip putts in whatever that’s just how I see [ __ ] butts but [ __ ] me the more I’m starting to see and learn and watch these guys like they got a 4 foot putt dude it’s not even it’s the least like missable thing in the world in general for these guys they step up they take all the break out of it and they just bury it in the back of the cup yep because they know even if it rolls out let’s distances who would win I think it’s a tossup in my mind yeah I mean she’s breaking records she’s playing phenomenal golf she’s winning every single time she steps onto a golf course hard to not to not say that it would be a tossup but then it’s just like now you’re putting me in a position to talk about male versus female Athletics and it’s always going to be siding with the male side regardless of you know what I mean like like you’re putting her stats up against other female like at golfers which obviously she’s dominating them but if you do that in any other sport as well like the guy who’s dominating the male side and the girl that’s dominating the girl side you can’t even compare the two because it’s just like better competition longer golf course he’s just a better golfer I don’t know no I know spot to be in no I I know what you mean it’s it’s a hard thing to say too but it’s like there’s a reason that like men’s Athletics women’s Athletics are different obviously there’s some controversial [ __ ] going on around that right now but General historically traditionally um so I understand your point of being like okay we’re we’ve like kind of separated the two because if you just look at the male body and and strength and um muscular distribution and all of that versus like the female that the men are going to win and so if you take the guy who’s the best among the better athletes then you would you would you would pick that person over the other um the thing I will say is that so much of it I think I think the two of them are so good in terms of just fundamentals and all the different elements of the game that and they almost all are at that level that then it comes down in a lot of it to like who has the comfortability and the experience and the hot hand right now to like get it done under pressure I think that is what kind of separated Scotty at the Masters down the stretch we saw everybody have a moment where they kind of fell off and collapsed and we almost saw the exact same thing um with Nelly in Houston at the Chevron where it was like there were kind of a bunch of names right there and then at the end of it ends up whatever it was 1300 par and wins by three or four the thing is I think they’re both at that State that I think like from a pure golf standpoint from their respective te’s they’re so close and then from a mental standpoint of getting it [ __ ] done under the pressure they’re so close that it for me it’s kind of a tossup but I do think historically I understand what you’re saying I would probably side with it historically yeah and because of the 13 what was it like a 1300 yard difference or did I hear that no it’s like uh it’s like a 900 yard difference about a thousand about a thousand yard difference I mean that definitely closes the gap of what I was talking about where it’s like now like she is playing from a different te a lot of that physical differences is going out the window she will be like almost 55 yards a hole 55 yards a hole or so pretty it’s pretty legit once they’re both 120 yards out like she’s [ __ ] nails but again like Scotty Sheffer is doing things that he’s do he’s he’s playing the game as good as you possibly can on the male side on the hardest tour it’s like it just is what it is I don’t know it it’d be tight it’d be a tight match she definitely wouldn’t go down without a fight I think that if Scotty had a bad day she could absolutely win she’s that good she’s won five tournaments like it’s it’s not even she’s unbelievable and I know there have been some uh like small sample sizes obviously they’re doing with the I think it’s like the the QBE shootout um which Nev’s played in a bunch where you know all those guys Rave about her game and how she doesn’t miss a shot so they’re doing more where you would actually be able to kind of compare okay how did it go like how did they play relative to the how did the women play relative to the men when they played their own kind of respective te’s but I don’t think that sample size is large enough to be able to like make any kind of conclusion about it so I think it’s it’s very cool that we’re in a spot where the two of them could be put in that position I think that I I very much would imagine that the folks that put on you know the match and these other little made for TV kind of one-off events are hopefully mobilizing to make something like this happen happen because it is almost unprecedented uh you got to go back to you know tiger and anuka where it’s like we had two people at the same time men’s and women’s game absolutely dominating Scotty’s won whatever it is four out of five tournaments and he only lost in one person in the other Nell he’s won five straight they both in that time won the first major of the year it’s [ __ ] crazy how dominant they are it’s very cool for the game would love to get the two of them back together um and now I’m getting calls from everyone
