I remember when they told us Justin Fields was everything they are now saying Caleb Williams is. I can't get excited anymore, it's too heartbreaking when it all goes to sh*t.
I'm excited for the new punter too. We got the goat of college punters. A punter that averages 48 yards a punt is perfect for a rookie qb. Caleb is probably the guy. But we need patience for year 1. Not every #1 pick is Andrew luck, but no #1 pick has ever gone to this good of a team.
He’s average throwing from the pocket. These “highlight” throws from college won’t all translate. I’d proceed with caution on expectations.

Next season –
Bears go 7 – 10, everybody cries, and Flush says, "we need to review tape" after every game. Come on, guys. Let's freaking settle down before we start doing carthweels. Bears suck that much that they can ruin a number one draft pick and bomb with a stacked team. Itll actually look very bad now if the Bears dont have a winning season. There is no excuse now. If this team loses from here on out the organization is more of a joke than it already has been. They better win.

The best Talent since Mahomes to come out of college. There is no ceiling with this guy. I hope he's able to remain healthy and realizes is astronomical potential. Can't wait to watch him play

I didnt recognize 75% of the teams these highlights were against. 75% of these plays in the NFL would've been a sack for a loss or an INT. All of his receivers had to slow down to wait for his lobbed floaters to hit them on the incorrect shoulder lol

Not getting my hopes up till I actually see them play good, been overhyping for to many seasons.
Bears should make sure they keep this man upright. The colts are a cautionary tale of what happens with you don’t protect a generational qb.

I hope he has a successful career, but my senses tell me he is another RG3. Similar build, style of play, arm talent, and ability to run. But with this comes career derailing injuries. It will be nothing short of a miracle if he can stay on the field long enough to make a sustainable impact. Despite all of this, the bears had no choice but to take a chance, what else have they got to lose.
