The PGA TOUR heads to New Orleans this week for the Zurich Classic at TPC Louisiana. This is the only two-man team event on the PGA TOUR schedule. Rory McIlroy makes his tournament debut alongside good friend, Ryder Cup teammate and fellow Irishman Shane Lowry. McIlroy is looking to build some momentum this season, as he has posted only one top-15 thus far (third at the Valero Texas Open). Lowry recently went T4-3rd-T19 on the Florida Swing. Patrick Cantlay and Xander Schauffele play together this week in an attempt to claim the title back after their victory in 2022. Cantlay played well for a T3 finish last week at the RBC Heritage, while Schauffele’s T2 at THE PLAYERS Championship and 8th place finish at the Masters will give him confidence. The pair claimed T4 in defense of their title last year. Davis Riley and Nick Hardy will defend their 2023 title this week. No team has ever gone back-to-back at this event. Others to look out for are Sahith Theegala and Will Zalatoris, as well as three sets of brothers including Alex and Matt Fitzpatrick, Rasmus and Nicolai Højgaard and Parker and Pierceson Coody.

going to be another good P the other the
ball finds the hole up to the 11th with
the leaders Jim yeah he had a relatively
easy wed shot and then kind of chunked
it but this for birdie kind of make up
for it and he does nicely done had one
birdie put his partner Nick Taylor’s in
there about 10 ft for birdie this from
over 40 ft oh yes sir from way
downt pick it up Nick third shot here at
the par five shot 31 the front nine he
and Luke list got a break right it did
Eagle second of the day they’re sneaking
up there they get a 20 underpar watch
out Fishburn next B up on the
14th so much Freedom being second to
play when your partner already hit a
good
shot what an
answer at 15 today is the best ball day
here in round three and this is Fishburn
for
birdie another one Trevor he guys are on
fire today just look at
that left hole location can use that
wind to swoop it
in ground will help

too and this is the hardest toll on the
course so and CT pan just four shots
back out of the bunker at this par five
and we’ll have a chance
and CT pan he saw his shot out of the
bunker playing alongside Kevin
Yu that’s one of the reasons why this
drive went so far down here for
maroy is that any good could go
in that’ll be three and four holes for
that team well they need it too it’s for
sure and the Open Face lob wedge for
Rory yeah that’s got 58 degrees of Loft
on it 10 of Bounce which is more than
he’s usually had sure that is
good Taylor and hadwin finished second a
year
ago everything calling for the draw up

tough second n maybe this beautifully
played 18th hole will give him a little
momentum into Sunday when they go ahead
and play the alternate shot which is
much more demanding Trevor they like the
way it sets up for them an alternate
shot as hubber said he likes to cut
it and brem likes to to draw

it oh and that took a bad bounce on mroy
Into the Bunker we’ve seen before but
he’s going to be in a better spot there
cuz he’s a bit more on the up slope but
that ball really was a couple feet from
Catching the shoulder and going down to
about 25 ft check here they knew it it
was close to being pretty darn good
this is a nice shot Here Andrew that
wind is heavy out of the right he’s
launching that high fade to hold
it just a couple
feet good contact
there and a great shot by
meloy he really has turned it on around
the turn bird he’s at 9 10 11 13 16 and
18 on his own
ball they really didn’t want to get up
early
tomorrow Shane saying thanks pods thanks
for finding your game the last couple
hours so they will be in the penultimate
pairing
tomorrow mroy and Lowry just two shots
off off the
lead slow start as we pointed out but
mroy really carried them down the

stretch see they had a ton of green to
work with he read the break to
Perfection doy just gave the stats
better than 60% he’s
33rd on tour this season out of the
bunkers so one of his weapons
releasing that toe down and

through that’s how you do
it that is a work of art right there
mroy thought it was going to
go so mroy and Lowry a 64 today in best
ball format and they will be hunting for
the win in New Orleans for the final
round
