we’re good all right guys 64 today Nick
if we can get some comments on your
round yeah I felt like it was tricky out
there with the wind um I felt like
starting the day in my mind if we got to
20 or better I think we would been
pretty happy um it was nice to get hot
kind of the middled around there to get
get it going I would have loved to make
bur in that last hole but um again the
wind was tricky so there’s there’s a lot
of holes where par was a good score and
it was nice to grab a few in the middle
yeah your thoughts Adam yeah um I think
we did a really good job we stay patient
we made some like Nick said in the
middle stretch made some nice putts um
probably would have been nice to make a
couple more I would have loved to at
least stay in play on 18 and have a
chance for four myself but um I think
we’re still in a strong position going
into Sunday I think the alternate shot
uh suits our games as well so um we came
I don’t know how far back we were last
year we were quite a bit and and made a
charge so I think um the way that both
of us played today I think we’re we’re
confident for tomorrow yeah patience is
is n really usually necessary in today’s
format but with the with the wind out
there you did have to be a little more
patient didn’t you yeah I I think you
want to come out of the gates and birdy
every hole but um you know it was a
little trickier hit Fairways today and
and this course is it’s tough to get at
the greens judging the lies out of the
rough and not be able to control your
spin in the wind um you know we we saw
today there’s a lot of holes where you
know we got a bit out of position on
holes that were pretty easy the first
couple days and um we we’re grinding for
par so like we said we we’ve did did a a
really good job of not making mistakes
and just kind of hanging in there and it
was nice to again get on that run in the
middle of the round yeah Adam what is it
obviously being from Canada but what is
it that worked so well for you guys
together um I think knowing each other
for as long as we have it’s pretty
laidback we just kind of enjoy each
other’s company out for a little walk a
little stroll like we did back in the
junior days a ledge View and um you know
Caddy’s get along and all that so it’s
just kind of a it’s kind of a fun week
it’s um I don’t know about you but just
you kind of feel much a little bit more
relaxed um obviously the alternate shot
format uh is a little bit more stressful
but even then it’s just kind of hanging
out with a buddy um having a few dinners
and um hopefully playing some good golf
yeah so three shots back Nick just your
mindset going into tomorrow you know
from what I looked at most of the days
the forecast tomorrow is going to be
similar wind for strength and everything
so you know it’ll all depend I think
we’ll we’ll see how the round kind of
starts out but um it’s I I we can shoot
900 like last year it’ be great but I
think um something five 600 under will
give us a chance um just with the
conditions of of how tricky they are but
you know kind of be patient again to
start the round because a lot of those
holes are pretty tricky to start start
the day and um hopefully just have a
position the last nine holes or so it
