The DP World Tour heads to Japan this week for the ISPS HANDA – CHAMPIONSHIP at the Taiheiyo Club. Matthieu Pavon will be teeing it up this week. He’s been on top form this season with his most recent success being a debut T12 finish at the Masters to earn a return visit to Augusta National next year. He also finished solo fifth at the Porsche Singapore Classic in March and made history by becoming the first French winner on the PGA TOUR since 1907 in January by winning the Farmers Insurance Open. Jesper Svensson will be in the field this week. He claimed victory at the Porsche Singapore Classic last month and claimed a 2nd place finish at the Bahrain Championship in February. Svensson is just one spot behind leader Keita Nakajima on the Asian Swing and can guarantee a place in the field at the Genesis Scottish Open with a strong performance. A home favourite Rikuya Hoshino will also fancy his chances at the Taiheiyo Club this week. He claimed victory at the Commercial Bank Qatar Masters in February and finished runner-up here two years ago. Others to look out for are Yannik Paul, Dylan Frittelli and Ewen Ferguson.

so 257 to the front edge no problem
getting it to the green you just want to
go ahead and hit a nice solid one you
don’t have to kill
it this is a nice flat trajectory this
should run out pretty
well spot on Jay spot on this is getting
better and better and better it’s a very
good Albatross attempt
South Gate uh the path 3
fourth oh Beauty oh and getting
better oh the Putter and the dink two
lovely things that come
together you always want a putt that’s
going to break into the hole so you can
use the entire hole not just half of
this to match Yanik Paul at 12 underpar
which he does in Leap Frogs Tai Sato in
the
[Applause]
meantime what a great
Future neima Has in the game of golf
what a great
present can he emulate playing part in
the south gate
also Ling it up and
down emulate how was his arm play coming
in last night by the way fabulous
yeah and Soderberg has the lead on his
own at minus 13 Eagle
birdie nice move at three and
four Casey Jarvis opportunity here to
get to minus 10
it was like it was on tracks wasn’t
it a beautiful
t-shir beow with a little bit of tree
trouble
157 that is a phenomenal shot that’s
ridiculous
Schneider go on oh oh he’s on the Move
he’s on a
tear
v he’s tracking it with his
eyes beautifully
played I’m it
[Applause]
shot from the greenside bunker down a
steep tier just trickled it over the top
this would be a heck of a
[Music]
birdie 125 be still has to play a little
bit of a cut shot
oh a thing of
beauty that’s as good as he could have
done that is really good is it going to
stay on top though is it breakes no
don’t do
that it is beautiful though isn’t it
Soderberg oh could he make Oh What A P
that is what an up and down that
was to join them seeing a little bit of
musical chairs right
now be
sto excellent second polishes it off and
the reward is a birdie and a share of
the
lead so down the
last for an eagle playing alongside
howong Le pretty pretty
it’s only gone and done
it 28 Eagle chance ahead of howong Lee
right
now this delete frog them all get to
minus
12 fair chance at
that it’ll still join them it’ll be
three birdies in the last five holes for
howong Lee Aima from the right hand
rough at 14
this is just a pitch
release get a gig oh I going to sayig
but it must have just been slightly
nearer to be the side of the road than
the other side I was convinced he was
going to have to drop
it The Other Side
o it’s quite a muddy
stroke grav lie you’re absolutely
kidding me call the police there’s been
a robbery I
mean this is going to be an
outrageous
birdie that’s
unbelievable let’s go watch neimer at
16 gorgeous gorgeous go from he’s
got got about a three birdie finish that
would shake things up would
Nakajima for his
birdie and it’s another
make three in a
row to 15 kenita for a birdie and he’s
within
one back I think you’ve got a plan on
Landing this seven eight yards short of
the hole
hoping it
releases he’s talking to it is he asking
to get down or to get up doesn’t have to
tell it to do anything beautiful
shot Nakajima hasn’t got the following
win that he had on day one but he can
reach the green this is a mid iron the
five stamped on the bottom be
good and with that you’ll
have an eagle put ahead and a put to
join the lead of Casey Jarvis down the
last
Jarvis what about that what about that
he’s been on a roller coaster ride in
this back nine Jarvis
won’t die wondering after
that AA I think that first part said a
lot about this guy’s mentality and they
could have given a safe DIY lag up to
the pole side but he was determined to
try and make it gave it a chance
and fine round of
65 is looking
dangerous Eagle
cut wouldn’t mind walking off yet 10
under
par what a way to finish the day compare
that to Daniel hiler finished with them
eight how different do they feel
very very nice very
nice just to finish it all off with a
final birdie here
and afford himself a two-stroke lead for
now which he does it’s a
64 and it had a number of highlights in
it few good breaks and a few that he
made
himself Paul has a little bit of an
uphill lie here a very straightforward
chip not the strength of his game but
this is one you’re thinking about H
holding if you’re a good chipper
so Paul needs to hold this to get
himself in the final
group very nice second on his own he
stucked his
guns round of
68 to watch another DP world to video
