Jeff fineberg on the line with me to
talk about the zurk classic we have Liv
Adelaide the isanda Australian event is
happening this week although that’s
probably more of a sky and Tom thing on
Mayo media network but I want to talk
about the RBC Heritage and do they not
have windfinder because I can send them
the link to that I put it in my
newsletter every single week maybe they
should use it
too I don’t know it seems like they got
a lot of
problems you know that how they didn’t
move up the tea times a lot of silly
things weatherwise but I don’t know it
was a great event Scotty blew away the
field if he wasn’t there would have been
very entertaining I’m not upset he’s
there I’m not betting enough to like not
enjoy the greatness of it I guess I
didn’t have seah like you did but I’ve
been there T2 behind Scotty before a lot
of us
have yeah it sucks like I I think you
said you had Runners up in four or five
events or something like that I now have
three second place finishes to Scotty’s
five wins so that’s always
fun yeah that sucks that sucks and so H
what you know it’s easy to sit there
after the fact and be like I should have
played it with placings and congrats to
so many of you guys who were smart
enough to hit that Thomas T5 and get
that chopped up I mean 22 to1 that’s a
lot more than the Scotty fours pay even
if you’re getting yes and no because
you’re not betting a Scotty 4 to1 the
same way that you would have bet the
Thomas 90
to1 yeah of course of course but I don’t
know maybe it’s crazy like I never do
eways I’m a total water Finds Its level
for every time I’m going to give some of
it back when I win I get it all and I
trust myself self that water will find
its level and honestly since Scotty won
at the
API a lot of us have hit winners and we
got to feel blessed I think for what we
actually hit like I got Jagger and and
baa I’m like okay that’s thank God
really um but I don’t mean that like I’m
not even patting myself on the back I
just mean like thank God it came out of
like this Scotty I’m in the Scotty Zone
was actually able to hit something
through it or it could have been
disaster because I didn’t hit really
anything before for it so you know I’m
you know it just I don’t know maybe it’s
got to just take a whole new approach
have fun with like other markets well
really lean into into having fun with
other markets maybe for the first time
ever not to like take away from us but
like we do the show on Monday morning
they aren’t the other markets it’s just
outright you know and that’s what we do
and that’s what I say it into the camera
and I’m a mental [ __ ] to not like try
to get something on it then so
I’m still GNA like throw money at it I
think I think but [ __ ] man stupid it’s
like stupid he’s so good well what we
need is for what happens to all of us
once we have our first child and just we
we lose our mental capacities just a
little bit just a smidge so hopefully we
can continue to get these Sheffer
numbers at the very top and it pushes
everyone down but then he stops winning
that would be sort of the out that we’re
looking for here and if you don’t know
what Jeff’s talking about I put out a
like hilarious bet on Twitter last night
I bet on Windam Clark during the delay
at 2500 to1 there was like a couple
people who were triggered about this bet
they were like just just throwing money
away what do people care what I’m doing
with my money I don’t understand
it I don’t know it wasn’t a lot of money
no it was 10 bucks yeah I don’t know
that’s there’s a lot there’s people
doing a lot sillier things go yell at uh
my boy GR Peete thrown away you know
living in his mom’s basement I mean if
you live in your mom’s basement you can
most definitely probably afford the $10
to throw away but the good thing that
came out of that which you had mentioned
was someone replied to me because I
wasn’t even thinking about the top 10 or
top five markets that Thomas was 90 to1
to come inside the top five and he was
done and he ended up hitting that top
five and it was a four-way split so it
was like 22 and a half to one but that’s
a nice winner and like that was a very
plausible bet based on the same
assumptions that I was going through at
the time now I was hoping they would get
more golf in after the delay because the
conditions were so bad when all these
guys came back out but everyone who
finished up just started making Bogies
except for straa weirdly enough uh he
actually made two birdies during the
terrible delay but everyone else ESP
like eight 17 and 18 we’re playing
impossible 18 especially which leads us
to maybe the worst decision that I’ve
seen in some time can’t lay hitting his
drive on 18 when he doesn’t have to and
then hitting his second shot on 18 when
he doesn’t have to but then calling it a
day like if you’re going to go that far
was it was it because Poston had stopped
on the hole that he wasn’t allowed to
hit anymore and they couldn’t pass him
in terms of grouping is it like in
baseball you can’t pass the guy on the
base paths like I I don’t understand
what the logic is there if you’re going
to do the two shots into it anyway why
not finish
up just put this on the pile of he is a
psychopath
the evidence is
mounting it’s
mounting okay like white van
crazy
crazy this just right alongside of
having your wedding the day after the
Ryder Cup being able to not give 100% to
teammate nor
spouse like insane insane like truly
like mind
Ling it was one of it is so it was so
weird I was captivated by that I thought
about that way too much last night like
I was weirded out by it but I’m telling
you it’s just another Breck on this guy
being like truly
insane it w it felt like and again if it
was because he wasn’t able to pass
Poston then that actually makes a ton of
sense because it felt like he was just
just trying to get off the course so he
could get on a flight to get to New
Orleans and just not worry about it you
know Scotty’s five shots ahead of you
you’re not going to catch up to him yeah
if he felt like he get up and down for
par at the time he probably thought he
was coming in second place like in a big
chop in second I mean it’s a ton of
money uh elevated event and I I I guess
that would be the only thing that like
when he got up there he’s like oh God
like I don’t like the looks of this in
these conditions let me come back and
play it in the morning because this
might be a $700,000 shot
yeah I don’t understand it Xander
finished like maybe they did wives
wanted to go to like loved Hilton Head
and wanted another night there and
they’re like no they like organized it
like no we’re going to we want to do the
extra night here we’ll leave in the
morning that was the plan I have no clue
I have no clue um as for the Scotty
thing I don’t just think it’s the kid
like the kid isn’t enough the kid is not
enough it’s the kid combined with what
I’ve said before and he’s clearly like
kind of let us know he seems like and
it’s maybe the like he does not want to
be an okay Dad he wants to be an
outstanding father because it’s very e
bu Pat one kid with like nannies and a
Night Nurse like it’s like a four five
onone Co four on-one three-on-one
coverage like one kid ain’t it’s a loaf
of bread that cries and can’t move and
he doesn’t even have to be involved in
that but you get the feeling he’s going
to want to hold Meredith’s hand at 3:30
in the morning while the baby’s sucking
her his her tit his tit her
tit he’s GNA want to be there that’s the
only hope we have because if he just
wanted to be an okay Dad we we we we’re
still screwed we’re still screwed our
only hope is he wants to be an Allin Dad
it’s the only thing we we

that helps the mid the lower end player

it’s a variable so maybe it can go the

they were somewhat in the mix I was like
hey if Scotty has a and Scotty didn’t
have a great day but it just turns out
the conditions were a lot tougher than
they had been the rest of the week yeah
if you can just go out and shoot a 66 or
something maybe that you can have a
chance to win this but hogi went bogey
bogy 171 18 to end Saturday and that
dropped him from second all the way down
to sixth and the gala sputtered coming
out of the gates like they both bogied
one to kick off the final round but I’m
pretty sure have to go back and look at
this cuz I know the final two days over
weekend it was like this the gala didn’t
birdie a par
five W like that’s it that’s that’s the
difference right
there that’s crazy because some of them
were pretty
straightforward there only three of them
but they were pretty straightforward and
everyone it felt like got to them except
cam young too yeah he had a didn’t
contend he didn’t contend you just you
know whatever but Cho cam young like you
knew that like come on he’s do do for
something I’m one of these Duds who’s
like well maybe that’ll like boost up
the Quail Hollow odd that I won’t be
able to resist because that’s me but
that’s for another time another show so
hit right there like he looks yeah he
looks outstanding it’s think he he’ll

gala doing that like all signs point to

galala is Mo almost as much as any
golfer that isn’t Scotty Sheffer like to
win a tournament at this moment which is
tough because he has one career win and
it was in Napa but
it’s go ahead no just yeah based on his
form but I’m one of those like not so
much pedigree but you feel like you feel
it sure got one career win he’s
overvalued now yeah now and I’ve been
betting him I bet him at the Masters I
bet him this week and just he continues
to linger around these leader boards top
10 the gala is really the bet that you
need to make every single week just kind
of hopefully every time that cam Young
and the gala play in the same tournament
you can just bet them both top 10 and it
seems like one of them will inevitably
come inside the top
10 makes sense probably both so hogi
Quin Tipple Bogies number 18 to drop him
from T6 to t18 that was not great I
checked him with my main Draft Kings
team as well then I noticed that Ben an
shot an 80 on Sunday didn’t didn’t
notice that in real time
if you wanted to do the like trust the
least list segment I’m telling you I got
my own losers and I’ve got my own
faults but
he 100% he’s Podium for me for me on the
golfers I do not trust and he’s under
like he’s at least getting priced in the
mid-range now every week
D couldn’t trust him couldn’t trust him
yeah nothing it’s a tough scene for him
out there and he actually played really
well he couldn’t make a putt to save his
life it was like kittama because I had
bet on kittama at 100 to one his ball
striking again was awesome I’m kind of
worried about him and morawa run and
train on everyone at Zurich because
Mora’s putter has actually started to
come around a little bit and kittama is
just pin seeking every single hole get
two two cracks at those putts and four
ball and then all of a sudden you’re
looking
good dangerous no wonder they’re at the
top they you’d argue I mean we’ll get to
it but you trust them at three times the
number of the favorites who are at
sheffler Price oh I didn’t have you
feuding with Dion woo on my
scorecard early on Monday morning so
let’s see you’ve got into it with benan
and now you’ve got into it with dialon
woo why are you targeting Asian American
and Asian
golfers okay so I didn’t Target dialon
dialon targeted you did he yeah
um 69 players in a signature event and
they can’t finish today because they
didn’t want to start times earlier
that’s an absolute joke everyone who
finished before the horn got the break
of the tournament pure Carnage for all
the guys

SMH so I agreed with him that his tour
is run by morons we talk about it all
the time but I thought Carnage was an
overreaction they’re just spending
another night in a luxury resort and I
let him know the tour’s got bigger
problems than a few super Elite golfers
spending 15 extra hours at Hilton Head
um then he proceeded to call me a clown
and said someone’s jealous they aren a
PGA Tour player which is a pretty cringe
[ __ ] tweet from a PGA Tour player and
I’m of course I’m [ __ ] jealous I’m
not a PGA Tour player jealous I didn’t
get to [ __ ] be drafted to play
linebacker for the Chargers I’m jealous
I’m not shagging balls at a Major League
diamond this afternoon I’m like uh like
yeah I don’t know but the thing is I
like at 10 years old I kind of accepted
those realities but of course like that
would be lovely um and then I let him
know if I was a PGA Tour player uh your
commiss would be out of a job after he
abandoned the membership last summer
with a tummy ache after using 911
families and then he pretty much
proceeded to not like respond to
anything which is fair but he had no
problem responding earlier but I do wish
he was a PGA Tour player I mean I was a
PGA Tour player I
do but yeah uh but the tours got bigger
Pro like we agree morons they the PGA
Tour comms posts a picture of the
weather like why the [ __ ] aren’t they
starting this early like what’s going on
and we can have our own debate that CBS
a value two hours live more than
anything else period and and they maybe
get a call shots but we agree the tours
run by morons tour is also run by a
[ __ ] [ __ ] who left them with a tummy
ache last summer I’m looking forward to

relive what I I can’t like recreate last
year in my experience so I don’t want to

to recreate it like um How do I yeah

everywhere and you know I just go to
Hamilton I wouldn’t even bug them for

like everyone going crazy about Nelly
winning her fifth tournament in a row as
well this time it being a major took
down your your Brook Henderson 30 to1
ticket unfortunately so you ran into
Scotty sheffler basically on both tours
this week but there was a lot about I
saw someone make the comment I think it
was even Nelly about getting like better
TV spots more Prime Time all of
this isn’t it an issue that you’re going
head-to-head and you play tournaments at
exactly the same time as the men like it
wouldn’t it be easier to like adjust
your schedule so it’s not Thursday
Friday Saturday Sunday completely
competing with the PGA tour
exactly I mean that is a great point and
I don’t know why that’s the elephant in
the room that they wouldn’t want to you
know put up there but yeah I think if um
you know we saw in women’s basketball
they didn’t play they play the women’s
games at least down the stretch on
different nights they give them the
whole platform I know the WNBA is on a
weird timeline but I don’t think they
would go head-to-head with Lakers
Celtics or something good happening let
alone an elevated event so you’re
absolutely right Pat and I never even
thought about that you can’t I mean it
is what it is but you can’t that’s the
problem that’s the problem and there’s
too much golf on TV
anyway it’s too much golf on TV and you
can’t blame I know maybe it’s unfair
statement but you can’t blame even the
women for wanting like they’re giving a
choice they’re probably G to watch the
men whether that’s fair or not she say
what it
is yeah the women back yeah absolutely
like if both things are going on
concurrently it’s no different than when
Liv went head-to-head with Valero at D
like I like Dural I would have been very
invested in Liv and I did put it on a
second screen but I was more interested
in what oxay versus Denny was up to on
the PGA tour it’s just how I’m wired and
I think that most even if that’s good or
bad maybe the better golf was in the
other place and this is the one that I
was watching but I’m just conditioned to
watch it that way on a Sunday and I
think that’s sort of the advantage that
the PGA has tvwise over everyone is that
if you’re going to put other golf up
against the PGA people are inherently
going to watch the PGA
Tour and they’ve kind of made themselves
like they’re 60 Minutes on Sunday it’s
appointment
television and yeah you might want to
watch Liv but the PGA is just right like
I don’t know you’re right and the Liv
they kind of went away from it because
this year it seems like they’ve picked
on some better PJ events to go
head-to-head with but even from the
onset we all agreed like that’s might be
the smart live strategy is like you pick
on the worst PGA events to go
head-to-head against and the field comps
become super
polarizing and those are the events that
you pick on um and it seemed like they
did that a lot in their first year or
and it seemed like they did that a
little less this year but yeah you go up
against at least PJ is playing like a
real form of Team golf not like the fake
team golf that live plays but
um yeah that’s the move go up against
the shitty events but the
LPGA they’re not they don’t work
together very much at all other than you
can get the scores on the app and credit
to Nelly Brooke gave her you know she
she made a Saturday move to get there
she gave her all but Nelly’s
Nelly let’s move on to this week because
we have two tournaments there is Liv
Adelaide which is the best Liv event so
if you can find the time to watch it in
Australia this week it was the best one
last year we’ll see if this ends up
being the best one this year as well
Patrick Reed 35 to1 was my bet for that
still at 30 to1 if you do want to bet it
I think you bet it too didn’t you yeah I
bet it uh there’s even I think I’ve seen
some 33s out there uh a lot of plac had
live odds out a week ago and there’s
some other guys who maybe I’ll swim
around but that re that reumers stuck
out right away and
quickly um we’ll see how guys travel the
L schedule we talked about it a bit last
week but um it’s a bit of a weird leadup
to the PGA Championship but Brooks won
it last year and that’s like maybe just
Brooks being Brooks and maybe it you
know that’s like a not to read too much
into that but just a lot it’s a weird
it’s a weird setup to lead into the PGA
but it’s not like the the PGA
Championship it’s not like the tour does
it much better um that kid p man they
price him like he’s a star and his
scorecards are like stars too like he’s
like the ludvig of the Liv tour I was
surprised they didn’t try to get more
guys like that for all the money that
they wanted to spend like whatever money
that you gave Hatton couldn’t you have
just quadrupled it and given it to
ludvig because that would just be better
for
Liv yeah apparently they tried to get
lvic may obviously there’s a number that
he would obviously have said yes to that
they didn’t hit um
we’ll see like the thing about Liv is
just to compare pig to ludvig no one
really knows who p
is so live like can Liv make a star I
guess we’re seeing that because there’s
him and the other guy Caleb seret I
think yeah
Caleb what is he um yeah Caleb seret
there’s a couple of them over there
seret is on isn’t he on ROM’s team or

from that the PJ is dead last the PGA
figured out that they had a drone camera
this week at Heritage and they just kept
running the same shot over and over
they’re like this is amazing did you
know these things it was like when cust
found out about chat GPT this weekend
and he just kept sending it did you know
this existence like yeah man I live in
the universe I I I exist in society I
know this is happening I don’t know how
you missed this was happening then I
asked him what he thought that AI was
like what chat GPT was and he said it
was some weird 3D printer that was his
answer
he maybe you can learn a lot about a
person by the first questions they
prompt like the chat like AI chat Bots
and his were some of the most cringe
things ever at least the ones you were
posting like he was just trying to get
AI to confirm his insane takes on like
chicken wing sauces or something he was
what a weirdo and then he asked it to
write him a poem about Diet Coke in the
words of TS Elliott which it did that’s
what that’s what it
was I was laughing so loud I got the
kids were going to bed I got the dogs
riled up because I laughed so loud my
wife got mad thanks Tim oh that killed
me he’s love them love them Zurich
Classic we got the team event I’m
usually away on vacation for this
tournament I generally schedule my
vacation around this but it’s NFL draft
I went on vacation at a different time
this year right after Riv so I’m here
for it I don’t actually hate this
tournament as much as most people do but
I do take kind of a Content bi-week for
it like I’m only doing two shows this
week for golf instead of four I’ll have
sky on with me for DraftKings and all
the final picks because anytime there’s
a weird tournament for DraftKings to be
had sky is the man you want to talk to I
think
yeah sky is the best um he really like
there’s few like top shelf it’s top
shelf not many on the top shelf Sky’s on
the top shelf um as for this event yeah
it’s always a bit of a Content buy I
would always piggyback It champion it
but I made a vow that I wouldn’t do that
this year doesn’t mean I’m not going to
bet it doesn’t mean I don’t enjoy it a
bit because I do think they do too many
things there’s too many weeks if they
want to run a tour that’s going to play
as M as much as this [ __ ] [ __ ]
circuses then they could do whatever
they want way more [ __ ] often and but
but because they took away match play
I’m not you know this doesn’t mean
anything to anybody but just myself they
took away match play so I’m not going to
[ __ ] glad hand their other change of
Paces see what they should but if you
let if you left me my match play I would
gladhand all everything else you did to
change up the pace but you can run all
these weeks you can’t go [ __ ] match
play shame on you shame on you I can’t
resist a few pairings though what what
they should do for this tournament since
match play is gone is combine match play
into this and steel lives format for
their TOUR Championship where there’s
actually teams of three I know that Liv
does it in teams of four but they could
do it in teams of three and what you
would have to do is that there’s like
alternating whatever it might be that
one of your guys has to play as a solo
against one of the other team’s guys in
terms of match play and then the two
play as a team against a team of two on
the other team but with the provision
that you have to rotate your solo guy
for each of the rounds then that’s
fun oh yeah like get crazy get crazy but
you know they think they’re they um they
think their fans are too stupid for
anything that’s also a conclusion I’ve
come up I’ve come up with over the years
at the PGA Tours that they think their
fans are dumber than NASCAR fans so to
think that they would put put any sort
of intricate thing into an event no
chance no chance you’re too
stupid I I watched a bunch of the
previous events because like there’s
just some years that I feel like I’ve
missed of this tournament uh and if I
don’t have guys in the running I just
stop paying attention like a lot of
people do deter but this one in
particular is just if I don’t have a
runner going for a win like just hey I
can take a Sunday off this is great but
I went and it just kind of flipped
through I was watching all the YouTube
highlights and then it flipped back to
20 21 and do you remember what the
playoff was that year and some of the
names at the top of this leaderboard I
think this is where Liv did all their
drafting Lehman and cam Smith won they
beat Louie and charl in a playoff Uline
came in third I think these guys were
like we’re good at Team events we better
go to live is gonna be great for us yeah
my memory of this is that event happened
in the Run of events where Lou went OB
late in every big tournament he was
contending in including a PGA
Championship in like string of month it
was the US Open at Tory Pines when he
hooked it left on
17 yeah uh so that was that but yeah
they uh Lou I think went OB or something
late in that he did he he went he went
OB in the playoff off the T which was
funny because cam Smith got himself into
that playoff and in the first leg of the
FedEx Cup playoffs at Liberty the year
before it was cam Smith who went OB off
the te against feno in that playoff to
clinch us that fow win
um I like how they give the belts my
memory of this tournament is still the
first one right with the uh the Scott
Brown or
kizner verus blicked and those guy
that’s my first everything else sort of
after that is a bit of a blur because
I’ve never had any success here and like
you weathers get nice if I got unless
I’ve got a hard Runner like it’s just
out of sight out of mind I was away last
I was doing putt putut last year during
this sucker totally forgot about that so
here’s here here are the six winners
Sorry Seven seven winners of this event
and the odds range that they come into
so the one that you mentioned was one of
the biggest hits that I’ve had in the
past decade or so cam Smith and Jonas
Blick at 100 to one knocked off Scott
Brown and Kevin kizner in that playoff
because St I can’t remember if it was
stupid Scott Brown or if it was Kar who
chipped in on 18 to force the playoff
itself and I was just tilting my face
off but anyway they won at 100 to1 horel
and piery won the next year together at
65 to1 RAM and PA Palmer live won it 19
to1 and that secured Ryan Palmer his
tour card for like 3 years there was no
event the next year Lehman and cam Smith
won at 20 under at 13 to1 Xander and
Klay win at 29 to1 at 12 to1 and then
Nick Hardy and Davis Riley won it 66 to1
a year ago so it’s been outside of the
long shot the first year it’s been
either that like secondary mid-range
that like 50 to 70 range or the very top
of the board at this
event
yeah seems like it there I’ll tell you
once you get past a point here Pat the
teams like 60 to one feel like the same
as the teams like 200 to one I mean that
yeah so like what really is the
difference between Harry Hall and Justin
lower who are low sorry who are 80 to
one and the team that we bet on the cooy
brothers at 200 to one yeah and I bet
that literally just you know for brand I
saw that maybe there’s like a fun story
line like it’s almost fomo because of
you and how you you’ll tweet through it
if it was happening but I got it I got
it down for for both of us and uh that’s
really the only bet I’ve made I’m just
staring at other things but the markets
have been slow to react or to post I
should say yeah Ry and trainer are
pretty deep here at 130 to one they made
a run I think they were top 10 a year
ago just trainer can start making every
putt like that that those are sort of
the things you do want the best ball
striking team that’s what it’s really
going to come down to and a couple guys
who can putt like even watching last
year it ended up not making a difference
because Hardy and Riley ended up getting
to 30 under but Nick Taylor missed a two
foot putt on the last hole which would
have got him and hadwin to minus 29 and
really kind of cranked everything up on
them but I think Davis Riley it was
either I can’t remember who hit the shot
on 17 they almost made a hole in one on
17 for a tap in birdie and then they
made the putt on 18 to get to 30 under
but it didn’t matter at that point I
start running through my mind like who
are guys who’ve been playing pretty well
recently and there’s two teams at like
100 to one or beyond that kind of fit
that bill and then there’s one like
champ and MJ Duffy are 150 to one and
champ can just kind of appear out of
nowhere but the Justin s Rico he team at
130 to1 like we know Justin s can putt
we even saw him at TPC Summerland like
10 days ago he’s working on his game at
suberin and hu just continues to be one
of the better ball Strikers out on tour
he ant putt to save his life so maybe
that screws him and S irons have been
terrible but maybe fused together like
if you put them together of all their
best skills they’re a really good PGA

player any PGA Tour player getting with
two balls out there feels like a good
player you know the the format’s a bit

sucker for potentially back there Pat at

I bet Mattie Schmid last week had been
playing well I bet Alex SMY lik so much
at probably some of the worst numbers
you could think of in loser events last
year so my eyes like just they went to
that SMY Schmid pairing at 100 to one
but I don’t know what the [ __ ] I’m doing
here like I’ll admit that like you’re
really I like to support this thing I
know like DFS guys completely turn turn
it off and I’m going to bet it but I
don’t have a clue I don’t have a clue
maybe most weeks I don’t but this week
more than ever I think that’s the look I
think you hit on the team that’s the
look like I I already bet on them Matty
Schmidt and Alex SMY both T I mean I bet
on Schmidt last week he was t11 SMY had
a great week he finished T6 with my
other two guys cudy and Chan Kim for
Chan ended up coming T6 as well just
needed Chan not to gag away in round two
he got to 10 under through the front
nine and then went backwards somehow at
the caralis course that one round just
completely killed any chance he had
winning but I think I mean Matty Schmidt
crushes these Pete die courses anyway
this is a Pete die course that people
remember uh and he’s just been kind of
popping up at all of them be at AMX the
PLAYERS Championship obviously he wasn’t
in the field last week at Heritage but
at 100 to one I’m in I’m already in it
seems like a good bet beautiful okay I
know we only spoke about the cooties we
did not speak that we um were likewise
on this but yeah that’s the one that
kind of shot out at me obviously there
could be some things lower but I don’t
even know what I want to put into this
thing rather BET live Adine I think
listen I I think I’d rather bet on this
one because I think there there’s so
much variance in a tournament like this
so let’s go to the top odds and just
talk about like the the power teams that
are here so kley and shafley are 5 to
one that’s going to get a huge pass for
me if they want to win it 5 to one let
them win it 5 to one uh mroy and Lowry
are 8 to one then you have zot Tores and
seah they’re both 11 to one morawa and
kittama would be my look of all these
teams at
16 morawa or sahith and and Willie but
like do you want like you know they do
their
things I don’t you hope the zig and zag
works perfectly there you do sense that
the zig and zag feels like it there’s a
lot more symmetry with the morawa
kittama team um I trust Scotty Sheffer
as an individual more than I think I’d
want to trust that team together so like
unless you’ve been out there hitting
your Scotties at four four and a half to
one off your Nelly Scotty parlay
congratulations props to you um I don’t
know like would you even consider like
think people consider the top there I
don’t think so I for a tournament that
people aren’t going to have a ton of
investment in anyway or maybe that’s the
one bet that they make but five to one
just seems
steep yeah it seems steep
cuz you you expect you know there’ll be
other shitty teams at 80 to1 100 to1
that go absolutely nuclear playing like
their own bulls not to say they won’t
and then um there’s the variable of it I
joked on Twitter this morning like win
or lose these guys are in a tough spot
like they win will mildly troll them and
if they lose will mildly troll them I do
like that they seem to enjoy playing in
this event together
100% you got to appreciate that that
there’s a high-end level team a a like
Ridder cup staple sort of guys that are
out here to be like yeah we’ll do this
we can buy into this um thing so you’re
right you’re right try it was fun to see
Rory and Lowry want to uh I whether that
was a joke or Rory’s like he got into it
over beers and he agreed to something
and I don’t know whether he regrets it
but I think those two just out there
having a good time could be real
dangerous I’m just not planning on
betting them I I believe that this was
the last time that Patrick can’t lay won
an event
to the 2022 Zurich Classic with
Xander yeah I don’t even know Whata Caz
Xander went on a bit of a heater after
this he won the Zurich and then he won
The Travelers and Genesis uh Scottish in
back-to-back weeks and then he hasn’t
won since then bunch of top five
finishes for but I like this Kitty and
morawa team like Mora’s playing good
golf it seems like he’s corrected not
completely obviously because he hasn’t
won but final pairing of the masters
with Sheffer I think he was in the
second to last group or the third to
last group at Heritage last week and
like I said kittama is ball striking it
amazingly right now and this is a
perfect type of tournament for him
because know morawa can kind of clean up
some of his or he just runs hot on the
greens as well we we most definitely
could see that happening but if he’s
just going to go fire that kind of keeps
him in line with what more Ora wants to
do as well I I never know whether or not
to take similar type players or guys
that compliment each other well but I
think it’s all a guess anyway so I would
probably guess that way so that’s my
initial lean at the top we start going
through the rest of the teams in this
next level down you got the Fitzpatrick
Brothers Maddie and Alex hogi and
McNeely the hoard Brothers at 35
pendrith and Connors at 35 to1 Garnett
and straa both coming off good weeks at
the Heritage at 40 to1 uh Mitchell and
Damon would also be a look for me Keith
Mitchell has been inside the top five
here I think twice in the past three
years um see it’s so hard to know what
you’re looking for in this group with
the fitzpatricks it would be really as
simple as if they ever went on a family
vacation here you would just like 5x
smash it but I have no evidence of that
and I assume that um New Orleans wasn’t
their
style McNeely and
hogi it’s so short the books are like
begging me not to touch this thing
Pat you know I don’t know we saw m I
think they’re both like for I don’t know
you maybe you’re like you’d rather just
pay the piper up with kitama and
morawa but the books are begging me not
to touch two losers together at 25 to
one like why would these jabronies be 25
to one I guess I want them though I like
yeah ho Hog’s approach play has slipped
over the past few weeks after he was
riding so so high like the reason that
he was up on the leaderboard so highly
going into the weekend at Heritage
because he was making every single putt
it felt like JT Poston was making every
single putt but in reality it was hogi
through two rounds I think he was six
and a half Strokes game putting through
two rounds and then it just kind of went
away from him now his biggest deficiency
chipping is what mad mcney does the best
and Mt MC’s irons are terrible and
generally speaking Hog’s irons are
really good so maybe that could be a
compliment for them in like the best
ball round but an alternate shot things
could get real wonky very quickly
because then if MAV is hitting
approaches and not hitting them well
then you have to have hogi to Chip and
then you’re it’s a complete disaster so
I can see how that goes wrong and given
the same like relative price range for a
lot of these guys I think I’d rather
just go with the Hoy guards instead
yeah brother I i’ if there’s a Brother’s
prop I’d take the brothers Hoards at
plus money over Brothers
Fitzpatrick um outright win that would
be that’d be fun I wow you know they’ve
probably done
it that’s the thing they they they’ve
probably done it so many times whereas I
don’t actually know how many times that
the Fitzpatrick Brothers have ever
played together it’s it’s kind of like
the cooties you know the coties have
played played team golf together a
bunch sorry the good yeah that’s not to
say that Fitzpatrick’s haven’t but we’re
just blindly going on their age is so
far apart that they probably weren’t put
in these like natural situations via
high school or other things
um yeah oh boys and and to take a right
turn just do you think mck Hughes feels
left out he didn’t get well even Ben
said maybe he didn’t want to play I mean
Ben Silverman was available for him to
be another Canadian pair but Ben
Silverman ended up with someone else
yeah and if hadwin and Taylor win then
hadwin gets probably you know Mike we
will be like I I’ll put them on the
President’s Cup I mean
hadwin Taylor’s probably already on the
President’s Cup I also don’t like that
at the moment I think hadwin is ahead of
Cory Connor by one point for the second
Olympic spot I’m actually going to start
really getting into Olympic stuff
because with golf being such like
whatever I actually was talking to Tim
about it and the Olympics this year I
think are going to be really fun like I
from a Ben event I’m going from a golf
event as a golf fan I think I’m really
gonna get into the Olympics this year
Majors Olympics yeah those are the best
events so looking at the course for I’m
just kind of going through this now
Davis Riley won last year he was T4 the
year before that in the team event uh
Nick Hardy was t21 with a different
partner the year before that so that’s
what the winners did collectively
together the year before that Patrick
Klay and Xander won Klay and Xander were
11th the year before uh they ended up
getting their win and then I think it
was uh Liv guys who ended up going so at
least a decent finish the year before
has at least proven to be pretty good I
kind of like hadwin and Taylor like
they’re what 40 to one that’s a pretty
good number for the team that came
second last year and playing good go it
does seem and it does seem like it’s a
very you could in the way that like hogi
and MAV you feel like can get all over
the map that one feels like a very clean
team like I I like it like I I don’t
know and we’re just [ __ ] guessing
doing my best and I’ll make my loser
bets don’t worry but yeah no that’s a
team I I kind of want to blindly have a
bit of faith in and I feel like I can
and and you mentioned the history and
even just behind them I might be a
sucker I don’t know why dri like buddy

just looking at the team pre- prices
that’s one that U could be a bit of a
firecracker I like the ceiling there and
yeah when you’re a true like
untrustable sort not to be mistaken with

brag about but just when they released
the teams on Friday that was another one
Vic and burger stuck out to me but we’re
almost close to the range where I don’t
know that there’s a difference between
these guys and the 3x price above I’m
with you the the team that I’m looking
at that I did bet on at 65 to one is
Taylor Moore and Matthew n Smith like n
Smith has just been very good in this
event and Taylor has been good in
general so throw them get I don’t
understand how they’re 65 to1 and if you
scroll up you see at 40 to one you have
Ben Griffin and Taylor Montgomery maybe
they’ll win that sounds like a team that
would win this event weirdly enough but
the other two guys are just playing
better yeah and I think we could see
some pricing that’s kind of all over the
place or or you know as we started
recording only one place had prices up
so I can’t even like grid grid out what
someone else might post but it’s a you I
probably expect a lot of copy and paste
in the pricings but it’s a hard one I
think for the books to price um and to
your point maybe that’s why you just
pepper the back because of the variant
like that’s not a dumb idea although
there are tempting ones like you
mentioned Kitty and and Colin but you
could play kitty and Colin and just
throw couple behind like at least a
small handful behind them oh here we go

Moore and Matthew neith three 365 just
released their odds they’re 75 to one

could still play placings here obviously

with the top five uh so SMY and Schmid

I’d rather play the placings here just
because yeah no and I don’t think
placing even I mean you only want to go
solo on placings but you trust a couple

like a higher end version of what we’ve
seen with the Canadian open the past few
years where people are like very fired
up for golf at the course they have like
cool stadium seating for some of the
holes where people can just get fired up
the entire time but they are also
throwing like beer bottles onto the
course yeah decent com yeah no they they
put their best foot forward this is one
you know I’m sure the Bots will be
firing but the pictures will actually be
lovely like I’m fully expecting it and
it’s a great course like they do it
right in top end field
so they they have me so to look they
have me but I need a bet in the r they
like I they have me but I still kind of
need a bet running for me to like give
it to them that makes sense yeah Liv is
although the fields are better than a
lot of these second tier PGA events you
do treat them like the second tier and
third tier PGA events where if Chan Kim
had really made a run or parker cudy had
really made a run at corales I would
have watched a bunch of corales but they
didn’t so I didn’t watch it yeah or if
you tell me like these two great guys
are at like the 16th hole in this one
shot or tied then you can get me but
until then it’s like you know last three
minutes of the NBA game like you can get
me so to look at last year’s leaderboard
at Liv Adelaide gu opened 6262 and he
ended up winning by three even though he
shot 73 in the final round he still
ended up beating leiri by three Reed by
four so it was Reed Cameron Smith and
Cameron tringali all tied for third with
Pat then Pat Perez was there with him is
Pat Perez even on live
anymore yeah is he he got one he he got
one more year yeah I feel like I saw him
make a post that he was so thankful to
Dustin or something yeah cuz I I I did
notice in the other Australian event
that’s happening this week I I think
it’s in Australia the the ipsis or
whatever it is uh because bazen went to
go play Maybe It’s in South Africa I
don’t know Matthew pavon is going to
play in that event then I noticed like
burn weisberger in the event otagi in
the event just guys that used to be on
live are now just playing in this random
event but outside of those guys Uline
bur Easter and charl all finished inside
the top 10 as well and then it was like
Dustin KRA Bubba n Sergio so all of like
the big big live names I guess Gucci is

Smith like that type of player did
