So today I went to my local country club’s range to practice my driver. After about half bucket into my session, I noticed that the guy behind me is a lefty and he was also hitting a driver. So our backs are against each other and I felt like we were kind of too close to each other with our drivers. But since our range is on the mats and I figured they must’ve put them on safe distances apart since the mats can be used by both right and left handed players. But when I was almost finished with my session, I feel a hard knock on my driver when I go in for the back swing. Turns out me and the other guy’s driver heads collided and made a huge dent shown on the photo. The other guy’s driver was damaged pretty similar to mine. Since we were both in our mats and hitting the balls where we were supposed to, I figured it was the country club’s fault. So I went in and told the worker there because the manager wasn’t there. He took my driver and told me he’ll see what the manager can do for me. What do you guys think? Should they give me a new driver? I think it’s the country club’s fault for putting the practice mats too close to each other. People could’ve gotten hurt.
