An emotional Chiara Tamburlini chats to Supersport after dominating the field to win her first Ladies European Tour (LET) title. The Swiss rookie fired a final round of 70 (-3) to finish the week on -17.

um I mean this obviously means a lot I
mean being able to win on the L I think
like my seventh start or so um this year
is just really special um and I mean it
just feels like all the hard work pays
off um and yeah I’m just honestly
speechless at the moment and um just
beyond grateful to be able to be here
and win this tournament today you’ve
really enjoyed your visit to South
Africa and this crowd have fallen in
love with you thank you very much I
appreciate it did you believe you’d win
at such an early age and I only you in
your seventh start on the ladies
European tour um I mean I had always
dreamed about it but I didn’t know that
I was actually capable of doing it um
and so yeah to be standing here now it’s
just very very nice and a victory beyond
your years only 24 years of age what
held you in good stead this week
especially on the weekend you made and
look so composed um yeah I mean I just
tried to go lower and lower and just
keep pushing um till the end really and
uh I think that’s what kept me it and I
just set myself small little goals um
doing the rounds to just not get
comfortable and um I think that worked
out really well one word to sum up at
this moment um
incredible congratulations thank
you a man spectacular Victory
