I’m here today with Jordan Withers the
Welsh Canelo obviously after your big
victory tonight how are you feeling
after that one I feel tremendous by
really good I feel great he’s a good get
six rounds in put an um tough opponent
who’s never been dropped on his uh well
on his backside like what do swe boys
keep a PG but it’s
great go on next
question you’re 6 and0 now 6 and0
building your career nicely you
mentioned to us earlier you’ve got a
fight lined up is that something can
announce or if not just talk about um
what’s coming up for you um as you know
well my uh gym mate Elizabeth boxing um
in Denmark and the promoters kindly
asked me to go on the show on the 25th
of May now so be a great opportunity to
show my talent out there and um I just
keep building now so it’s great great
feeling to be asked on massive shows guy
so and we spoke to Gavin Gwyn recently
he said he believes you could be a
multi-weight well title holder what do
you have to say to that is that
Ambitions that are reasonable or or are
you thinking Gavin’s maybe putting a bit
too much weight on your
shoulders it’s it’s only what you’ve
seen in the gym with um like I’m sparing
top top quality opponents um and old
them M own so and I’m doing that at the
age of 23 so I’m putting I’m putting the
hardw work in now I’m on the straight
and narrow as um Tony’s got me on and um
there’s no reason why I shouldn’t reach
the heights of what he’s saying if I if
I didn’t reach anything like I it’d be
disappointed on myself to be honest so
it’s exciting and you mentioned um you
wanted to get the KO in this one it
wasn’t something you were able to get
was that something that was important
just to get those six rounds in the
bankoff it’s been a little while with
with two fights canceled as well um it’s
just it’s bit of everything in the fight
really I I showed my fast hands fast
feet and a bit of my power as well it’d
be be great to have The Knockout but six
rounds at the end of the day puts me in
good stad for the next and I’m going to
do probably do another six and then
I I’m sure his Talks Of Me fighting for
a title and um see want say there I
think we we spoke to Dan and he
mentioned possibly of of a Celtic title
um obviously towards the back end of the
year is that the first step in obviously
a long journey ahead to to those World
titles we mentioned yeah Stephany is um
it’s on the right road then it’s um
fights I should I should have had
already I’m more than capable enough to
beat what’s in front of me and um just
looking to push on now really so um it’s
like I’m stuck in a place where I can’t
step up cuz I am going experience and
people around me are just do on do want
to catch his hands you know and uh you
showed a little bit of the dance moves a
little bit of the movement as well in
the ring is that something you like to
do to put in there get the fans on your
side get people enjoying the shows yeah
I thought I look like the white Jason
drul in there to be honest I I was
brilliant and obviously this was a light
heavyweight fight there’s a certain
other light heavyweight um Ben Whitaker
who’s been making big names in in doing
similar Antics are you are you saying
you’re the the Welsh Ben Whitaker or
would you put Ben Whitaker on his ass
he’s the English J with us so ni I’m not
like everybody so my next fight super
Mill but um to be to do s similar things
to what he he’s doing is is great like
so it’s makes fights enjoyable people
don’t want to go out there and see
people just boxing the same way for the
all night so it’s nice to show them
something different and especially my
size
they think oh he’s going to be slow and
sluggish but just hold him otherwise and
then the last one for me you obviously
got the the merch on the prosperity
management Shawn Murray how great is it
to have someone like Shawn on your side
who’s who’s backing you in the corner
and and you mentioned Elizabeth and and
obviously toen as well you three getting
behind you guys and giving you the
fights you need a to be honest he’s been
second and and the the things he’s given
me the opportunities and just a support
is is great and to have someone that guy
in the corner is is everything I’ve been
working towards and I can’t than him
enough to be like joke Society is
probably one in a million the things he
does it’s it’s great I I wouldn’t be on
on things like this now and Excel in the
way I am so it’s great perfect cheers
