now since the Masters have settled down
there has been a lot of controversy
around John RAM and his performance and
I think this is always going to happen
because it’s the first time he has teed
it up in a major since joining Liv Golf
Now brandle shamble golf analyst has
controversially I’m going well more than
controversially absolutely blasted John
Ram now this is not the first time the
golf analist has hit out at live golfers
one of them being a big big debate with
Phil Michelson now let’s get straight
into this story controversially brandle
shamba has launched a brutal attack on
John Ram over his $500 million move to
Saudi backed live Gulf part of this I
agree with part of it I don’t but I love
to hear what you think about it I also
want to know your stance I saw multiple
comments on the video the Day saying
John Ram needs come a bit of slack John
Ram shouldn’t have made that move and it
was pretty much I would say 50/50 on
whether Liv golf affected his
performance at the Masters and 50% said
nah it had nothing to do with it so
let’s go into this further golf analist
sham blé has said Rah miscalculated his
impact and that by joining Saudi funded
series he torched his legacy and proved
he could be bought let’s get into
exactly what he he said here John ran
thought his departure was going to be
the Tipping Point it wasn’t the Tipping
Point at all so what shambley is
referring to there what he’s alluding to
is the fact that John Ram was maybe in
the camp and maybe being told that if he
went a lot more golfers would follow and
I guess we sort of did see that with the
likes of Terell hatan but maybe he was
expecting some bigger names now I don’t
think that was only
I don’t think John Ram would have been
and potentially the only person that
thought that at the time I was like 100%
this could be the floodgates opening we
could see a real host of players now go
and join live golf just had a ride a cup
star go and join them so I I agree with
what Cham is saying in the sense of I
think he thought it was the Tipping
Point but I don’t blame him for that I
think shaml at this point is being a
little bit brutal if I’m being perfect L
honest but let’s go into this further he
went from being viewed as his own man to
being somebody that could be bored he
went from being viewed as somebody who
would be who would State their principle
very clear of history and Legacy and
then turns back on those principles for
money and finances and I have to say
this is something that I thought the
time John Ram countless occasions said
no more money wouldn’t changed his
family but when we we’re talking about
500 million that’s not only changing
your family for one generation two
generations that’s like generational
after generational of the generational
wealth like serious amounts of money and
again is this brutal from brand brandle
shamba or is he just speaking the truth
I want to know what camp you are in I
agree partly with what he’s saying but I
think it is really quite brutal so it
doesn’t stop there shamble claimed rah’s
decision was heavily ferti fertilized in
greed because he knew exactly where the
money was coming from and why it was
malevolent in nature but every single
golfer has know where the money is
coming from have we actually dived into
where the money comes from for the PJ
tour I’m just making a 50/50 agreement
here
right so going into this further the
thread that runs through every single
aspect of life and not one of us can
really say who H who held the money that
we have in our hands before before we
did but when we know exactly who’s
paying you and exactly what they’re
paying you for and it’s cor malevolent
in nature you can’t pretend that the
impulse to take the money is good when
it’s heavily fertilized by greed I just
think this is slightly uncal for if I’m
being perfectly honest and we know in
the past that brandle shamb has said
some pretty I’m going to say revolting
things and said some things that I think
maybe he will regret but I think the
nature of what he’s trying to say here
is and the big bit that I agree with and
maybe you agree with this is that John
Ram went to live golf on the premise of
a few things that the structure of the
golf game would change in the sense of
live golf would change maybe not just
always heavily team focused we would see
an agreement happen much sooner between
the likes of Liv go PJ tour and DP World
Tour we would see world ranking points
and he would still be eligible to play
some PJ tour events in the very near
future with the premise that actually
more PJ toour Stars would be eligible
and want to play in live golf events
like that is what I think sort of John
Ram was told now I know I’m slightly
hypothesizing here but when John ra when
Brandon Cham goes and says this John Ram
thought his departure was going to be
the Tipping Point I think that’s what he
was sold I really do so that point I
agree with but I don’t look at that as a
negative aspect the rest of this
interview where he absolutely lays into
John ran brutally in the sense of the
malevolent nature it was fertilized by
greed if someone dangles that amount of
money in your face I want you to answer
this
honestly and I I’m very careful how I
word this would you take it would you
look at it and go no no no what and I
guarantee right Brando shamb blé sat
here yeah he’s all right to sit here I
know John R Mor a lot of money but he’s
a very wealthy very privileged
man if the right number came for
him the question would be would he go
the question I would say to him would be
would you take the money would you
really dive into where it came from he
even admits he doesn’t know where it
came from and what hand it came from
before you were paid I think it’s a very
very narrow-minded look from brandle
shamble especially with the nature of
where golf is going right now we’re
potentially looking at a merger we just
had investment from Fenway Sports Group
in the PJ tour we’re hopefully going to
see this merger between the Liv golf PF
and the PJ tour because in my eyes if
this does not happen golf is a worst
place we saw TV ratings they’re down
regular PJ tour events are down yes we
could sit here and argue that more
people are streaming but the whole what
I’m trying to get to here this fractious
nature of golf is not good and when we
have interviews and just words like this
this is not good this is just making
headlines this isn’t actually bringing
go together so I mean if we can just all
sit here and go come on let’s get golf
together let’s see this agreement and I
think golf would be in a much better
place we need to get back on seeing the
likes of John Ram competing against Roy
Ma on a regular basis going up against
Scotty Sheffer because this is the
reason why golf is not as good as it
should be right now in terms of the
excitement in terms of the viewership in
terms of the test of what we see this is
what needs to happen now a lot of people
are going to speculate on why John Ram
played badly I mean he finished tied 7
he finished a share of
45th and a final round of 76 to finish
the tournament nine over so it wasn’t a
good Masters now we won’t know if it’s
the fact that Liv golf was the cause of
this but what we will say right now is
that John Ram is going to be heavily
scooted ized every single time he tees
it up at a major championship because of
when he went last year at the end of the
season after a great Rider cup and these
are always the first time the first
Masters after joining live gol the first
PGA Championship the first open the
first US Open and it’s going to be
heavily scrutinized every single time
that’s all we have time for in today’s
breaking news story be sure to subscribe
and turn the Bell that way I can keep
you up to date with exactly what’s going
on within the golf industry now that is
a brutal attack in my opinion and
slightly uncalled for by brandle shamba
but let me know exactly what you think
is he right about John Ram is he wrong
about John RAM does he have a place to
even comment on this I would love if you
let me know exactly what you think about
this breaking news down below in the
comments thanks for watching

  1. If I’ve said this once I’ve said this a thousand times. If LIV Golf was a US or European funded tour we wouldn’t even be having this conversation. Americans don’t like the fact that it’s Saudi funded. End of story!

  2. Chamblee is right. Rahm was yapping about principles and morals trying to pretend he cares more about golf than money. He turned out to be a hypocrite. I dont think Chamblee would not diss him if Rahm didnt say all those things before he joined LIV. Chamblee has only really criticised LIV golfers who deserves it.

Also it seems nearly every small Youtube golf channels have been taken over by LIV as a propaganda outlet for them. PGA tour doesnt need LIV because there is endless pool of golfers coming up. PGA tour just needs to focus on what they are doing and let LIV do their own thing. Let LIV buy whoever they want. Once the player goes over thats it, they cant come back to PGA tour ever. Not anyone can just go and play LIV so why should LIV players be allowed to play on PGA tour or European tour. Just ignore them and LIV. Whatever happens happens. Its been proven that LIV is boring to watch and mostly held on dog track courses.

  3. Chamblee sounds bitter, envious and jealous. What's Chamblees price? What, Chamblee higher and mightier than thee? Pahfuckinlease

  4. Golf has "Jumped the Shark". The Tiger era is over. He will never win another event, let alone another Major. Viewership is down. Rounds played per year are down. Many golf old time golf courses are shutting down. The PGA is poorly run. LIV golf is boring. Nobody cares. Time to move on.

  5. Bet you Rahm is regretting that move to liv, even though he's made mad 💰, it's nothing like knowing you're not sizing up to the best player in the world and all these guys wanted to do what Tiger did. Scheffler boy is doing a fraction of what Tiger did currently, and these top guys on liv, I'm sure, are realizing it shouldn't had been about the money as it was more about having a legacy or being the best on a tour that has history. All these guys took blood money, even Tiger, with his appearance fees in the past to play other there, and the PGA has always had Saudi money, so that can't be a talking point. Knowing you're not the best anymore and seeing someone else rise and receive the accolades you dreamed of as a kid, I'm sure Rahm is having second thoughts cause he could've been that next superstar, he was on that path. Money doesn't buy everything.

  6. Chamblee loves to tear into players. Thats what he does. He’s done it to many players in the past. All he does is fuel the divide of PGA and LIV.

  7. Already get paid a fortune for putting a ball in a hole, but want more. There's a word for it.
    Golf fan btw

  8. All these guys left PGA, took the money, BUT still want access to Majors/PGA events?? Kinda hypocritical if you ask me.
NONE of these people have ANY integrity whatsoever. Eff 'em.

  9. Who gives a shit what Brandel thinks. He consistently rips players that have accomplished so much more than he ever did in the game. Fuck that guy

  10. He gave his soul to terrorists for money. He's a bum. The majority of golf fans hate him now, and for good reason. You had it all Rahm, and you blew it. Btw, greed is a sin.

  11. Coming from Brandi wouldn't expect anything else. Besides being a terrible commentator he is a jealous little man. He thinks that the worst human on the tour walks on water and that says it all.

  12. The other side of the card for greed is jealousy- what legacy does Chamblee possess? I would not want to listen to his common TV…maybe that’s a contributor to the ratings…

  13. LIV golf i have never watched and i dont care.I golfed everyday last summer 164 rounds .I truly am a doer not a watcher of sports

  14. First Chamblee is a total jerk a hack won one tournament his entire career. A self proclaimed expert at the game. Second let’s be honest who in their right mind is going to pass on $500 million dollars. This type of money carries across Rahm’s family for all generations to come. IMHO most golfers on the PGA badmouth LIV because they haven’t been offered the big bucks. There hasn't been a big run because LIV isn't after a lot of these guys. PGA tour viewing has gone way down 20% on the masters. They need to add some of that LIV fun to it. It’s become boring.

  15. I play Golf but don't watch it much these days i have watched some Liv but wasn't that impressed. The bottom line is that Rham is earning a living and $500 million is a mighty big carrot to ignore.

  16. The problem is. Rahm said no way will he go to liv golf. He said why does he need another 300 million. Then gets offered it. And buggers off. The whole lot that have gone are ruining golf.

  17. "When will this stop?" >> It should NEVER stop until LIV is closed as the circus act it is. LIV is not good for golf.

  18. Many of these LIV venues are at resort style courses with slower stimp speed greens. They play 54 holes. It's pretty much a joke. The overriding factor is the terrorist connections and taking blood money. I don't own a car and my home is heated by natural gas (presumably sourced in the US). I've done everything I can to not consume OPEC Oil products. Anyone who cares about human rights and decency should be doing the same if they can. I'll never view LIV as anything more than golf's version of hte WWE. They shouldn't mege with LIV. That's my two cents.

  19. ill never understand why anyone who "loves the game of golf" would ever be angry about the sport of golf growing.
LIV is growing the game of golf. I don't watch and play golf for politics, I do it because I love the sport. if the PGA wants to "grow the game" like they claim, then they need to start being more accepting of LIV golfers. Do I 100% support LIV? not really, when you follow the money I don't like it, but I don't hate the players for taking better opportunities for them and their families. The only reason the quality of golf is down is because of the toxic route the PGA tour has decided to go down. For the sake of growing the game they shouldn't turn their backs on the golfers. The PGA should confront LIV, and deal directly with LIV, but don't pay your commentators to personally attack these guys, especially the ones who spent the majority of their career promoting the PGA tour.

  20. I 100% agree with Chamblee. Rahm’s character is forever tarnished for $. He broke his word and now he regrets it. He said he couldn’t be bought. Has anyone seen a LIV event? There are virtually no fans. The team aspect is stupid, only 3 rounds and no cuts. I don’t know anyone who watches it. Most of the players like Cam Smith are no longer relevant. The PGA tour has legacy and has the best courses in the world.

  21. When and if someone offers me $500million dollars, I'm gonna check with BrandelChamblee to make suere it's alright with him.
