lead Edge roll putter is it a putter it
doesn’t look like a putter it it looks
like a putter from over top it’s from
the front on that it doesn’t you don’t
quite know what it is spoiler alert it’s
weird looking we going to review it
we’re going to tell you what it does
let’s go

yeah give us a stab at it give us first
try at least if you like the videos yeah
all right so what are we reviewing here
okay so we have from um spoiler golf
they have shipped this over to us for us
to get on the putting green for us to
get to know for us to review they found
us like on social media or on social
media and we talked we’ve been talking
for a while you took the lead on this
one I did yeah I’ve been the one that’s
talking to him the founder of this
putter felt like he could get a better
rolling putt if he putt with his wedge
so he did this why did he think that cuz
he did it he was putting for months with
a with a wedge when you like belly a
wedge and you see like um what do you
mean by belly you hit it right in the
belly of the
ball terl Hatton did this in round he he
was messing with his putter so much one
round he broke his Putter and had no
choice so what they did is they took the
technology excuse me that’s putting with
the blade edge of a wedge and put it
into a putter so that way you don’t have
to purely strike it because obviously
it’s hard to hit the dead center of the
ball with a wedge every time okay so
it’s $275 normally $330 I don’t know how
long that deal is going to go on um but
they found that you get a very true roll
with the blade of a wedge when normally
you have a big flat-faced putter
sometimes there’s a tiny bit of Loft a
degree or two four three two
one um okay I’m not mad blade is a
better putt so let’s see let’s get this
bad boy unboxed I’m mad at the way it
feels
wow
wow I’ve never seen anything like this
before okay so love it first off we have
this really nice note written to Trevor
and I
directly mhm it’s great love it got some
little ball markers some ball markers
looks like they fit on our hats this is
strange and they like the way this feels
huh yeah they engineered it he said he
put it for over 6 months with a wedge
just cuz it felt better and then they
started developing if you look at the
kind of the designs that they came up
with one of them was a flat belly putter
just a flat face putter with a with a
wedge lip almost off the face of it so
you can see they’ve really messed around
with a lot of designs to get this where
it is
so what makes this obviously better than
just using a wedge the the bottom the
bottom sits on the on the grass cuz
obviously if you’re really putting with
a wedge your stroke has to be perfect
cuz if you top it you’ll have too much
Top Spin if you fat it it won’t roll
true so you have to hit the ball really
pure when you’re putting it you’re
taking a divot well you’re not swinging
like that but in theory yeah I guess you
could take a chunk I like the
alignment
boy okay so when you’re putting with a
wedge it’s a drill that a lot of guys
will do to make sure that they’re
striking the ball nice and pure so in
his testings and doing this drill
putting with a wedge he realized that it
was putting better than his putter so
that’s really cool that he engineered
and made a putter that was a little bit
easier to hit than a wedge but
essentially did the exact same thing the
reason we reached out to spoiler golf to
start with is we were getting a lot of
comments to get spoiler golf on the
channel surprisingly so that’s that’s
what started the conversation so that
back flange almost like a little spoiler
a spoiler that’s right holy cow I see
what they did w did you just connect the
dots I just now realized why called a
spoiler there’s a
spoiler H let’s see this is Trevor’s
first put obviously we just unwrapped
it it does feel really good like it has
a totally different feel like you know a
normal putter you almost have like that
click yeah when you think about when you
hit a wedge when you belly a wedge like
you’re supposed to when you’re if you
putt ever with a wedge that front spin
you get with the it feels like
so true really what does it feel like it
just feels like you’re putting
air let’s try one
more pulled it yeah that was me I like
the grip on it definely different feel
can you pick up the ball you can pick up
the
ball yeah that line Looks like from the
side that line is nice and
thick it does feel really good it feels
totally different huh unlike any other
putter you’ll ever hit yeah the feel off
the
face yeah it does give me one more what
does it look like from the side weird
does it I shouldn’t say weird it doesn’t
look like a putter like besides it
feeling good they’re saying it’s it can
promote consistency or yeah consistency
front spin so you get a trer roll with
your
putt they are rolling really
true I push that one
it definitely feels good like I like the
feel of it okay like Trevor said let’s M
but my question is it going to improve
the putter stroke enough to Warrant a
super unconventional change like this or
is it
more
kitchy that’s a good nice
roll oh that one rolled really nice and
true yeah I don’t know I don’t know what
I think of it so I understand the
technology in it not as much as I should
um but I understand the theory and what
it’s supposed to accomplish the other
thing I really appreciate is these guys
went out saw a product that they wanted
that they felt like
they made them better golfers better
Putters yeah and they went out and made
it no that’s super cool how awesome is
that I definitely um I think my favorite
thing about it is it has a really really
good feel off the face it does like it
has a really nice feel it’s not clicky
at all like you have in a Mil face
putter it feels super unique on like any
other putter I’ve ever hit like softer
than the softest like white
hot yeah which that’s saying
something and yeah it’s not it’s not
creating like too it’s not creating like
Back Spin at all
I understand the theory behind that your
contact point is so nice and
tight I mean I’m just can’t miss you’re
drilling
them
nope how do you feel like um obviously
this is not super long it’s only 12 ft
or so how do you feel your speed control
is speed control seems fine like it’s
not a problem at all
it is rolling end over end yeah it is
it’s very very true roll but you know
we’ll obviously have to play around with
it more to see if it’s legit or not yeah
so let me ask you this question right
off the bat Trevor who do you think goes
after this putter in the
market I would say guys that like like
something different equipment wise they
they don’t want a tailor made Callaway
they’re not after the big guys guys that
like to Tinker I feel like yeah yeah I
mean people that and I’m guilty of this
that are
nonstop nonstop searching for equipment
to help their game yeah no that’s true I
focus on equipment sometimes a little
too much and I’m always tinkering but I
like it it’s cool yeah it’s sweet thanks
