   awesome Andrew on the takeaway position. i’ve struggled with this for many years. late last year i bought David Leadbetters “StraightAway” training aid which clips onto the shaft. it’s an awesome visual training aid. does exactly what you described.

   Excellent swing tips Andrew! Aligning the club face with the spine angle half way back fixed my backswing inconsistency problem for sure.
