Just to rub your and the other PGA-loyalists nose in it, I hope for the life of me LIV golfers dominate the top positions again like they did last year…
Maybe they only play 3 days on LIV…but they also play in fields 3 times the strength of the weak PGA fields.
And yes…Scotty can't put…just because he had 4 days (not in a row) putting good, doesn't make him a good putter. Scotty won't win!
As someone who follows LIV, I think they will do well this week. As an aggregate, the LIV guys outperformed the PGA Tour players at the majors last year (higher % made the cut, overall finishes were higher). And they played at Doral last week, which is a tough course, so a good prep week for them. That being said, I'm not sure that Niemann, who is getting lots of attention (and has played great), will contend. There's a lot of pressure on him as he begged to get into the majors, then the Masters invited him. I'm also not high on Finau. He's played well in the lesser events but not so well in the signature events. I kind of like Matt Fitzpatrick as a somewhat longshot to take it. Hidecki second, Scottie 3rd. Cam Smith 4th. Just my thoughts

I just don't see it to be honest but you could be right. This season is probably the worst I've seen Rory play before a major ever.

Love Rory but he is soft now. Needs less distractions and honesty needs to be hungry (almost desperately poor) again. He doesn’t have that Tiger, Brady and MJ desire to beat the crap out of everyone else even when they were already the GOATs…
There is almost zero chance McIlroy wins Masters ever. He always struggles on this course and that's the bitter reality. Meanwhile players who like Augusta always do well there year after year.
