Watch the Honorary Starters, a tradition dating to 1963. #theMasters

Since 1934, the Masters Tournament has been home to some of golf’s greatest moments. Amidst blooming azaleas, towering pines and flowering dogwoods, the first full week of April ushers in a stage unique to golf and to sport. Over four days and 72 holes, the smallest field in major championship golf competes for a chance to capture the Green Jacket and a place in Masters history.

  1. How Great Is This!!! – To see a Sport Honour its Legends. These three Golfers are not only Legends of Golf but LEGENDS OF SPORT for their Impeccable Sportsmanship both on and off the field of play – something a lot of sportsmen, today, could watch and learn from. 🇬🇧🇿🇦🇺🇸🇺🇸🇬🇧

  2. And now, after me hacking into the masters camera system.
I im seeing(and hearing) some rather juicy stuff.yaaaay man.this is drfo not for children

  3. Jack is the greatest ambassador for the game of golf that has ever lived. All 3 of these gentlemen are true legends, and it makes me smile seeing their joy at walking up to that first tee.

  4. Sad to see the toll that age and all the many miles of walking and club swinging have taken on Jack…what a man, a gentleman, a true sportsman, a wonderful person…. I hope we see a few more days like this from him…😢

  5. Why did Jack Nickolas have to finish 2nd 19 times as he could've and should've put his majors record on ice and out of reach had he won all those 19 2nd place finishes and finished with 37 total majors instead of only 18 majors. Maybe if Jack won 37 majors, Tiger Woods chooses to chase Sam Snead's 81 career PGA wins record over Jack's major record.

  6. I sometimes wonder if Jack regrets those 19 2nd place finishes as he could've won more than 18 majors. In fact, he could've won 37 majors had those 19 2nd place finishes been wins instead.

  7. Forget todays media obsessed look alikes these three greats are true sportsman and legends long my they live ! seeing Jack Niklous and his dear Lady put a lump in my throat

  8. Wow. Amazing to watch. And Gary looks fantastic.

My father-in-law is 86. And in great shape. But there is no way he’s swinging a golf club. Wow.

  9. These old school greats were champions off the course. Life long marriages, scandal free, family values, integrity and respect. Different level that's near impossible to find today. Compared to the repugnant unbridled malice handed out mob style by so many PGA players to LIV players, even trading in the 911 lives lost to "win" – pure filth. The greatest generation is behind us, was an honor to see how life should be done. They brought joy and light wherever they went.

  10. That each of those guys still goes through their pre-shot routine before they hit the ball tells you those competitive fires are still smoldering!

  11. Everything in life is segmented these days and not like it used to be. Sports in particular as far as entertainment has really changed. Basically everything seems to have lost a little lustre. Still some traditions but lets just say The World Series, NBA, NHL, even March Madness and The Super Bowl aint what it used to be as far as hype, buzz and viewership. Golfs had the same challenges. Holding people's attention is not easy. Masters is holding on. No longer the official opening of spring. Nope. Still a major but that doesn't matter as much these days. But seeing these big three gives the old human in me a rush.

  12. I don't know of any other sport that does something quite like this. I guess the first pitch is one, but rarely do you have a dude who is 88 tossing a ball across the plate. Gary Player is an inspiration to keeping physically fit. Gary, Jack and Tom are amazing ambassadors of the game golf. When I think of Golf I think, The Open and The Masters… not necessarily in that order 🙂

  13. The old guys are class acts and role models, deepest respect and admiration! Unfortunately Liv players are here and they should not be here! They do not care about golf history ! They got rich on the PGA Tour and spit in its face ! They are no role models ! They only care about getting their paycheck and blood money from an oppressive regime which disregards human rights and equal rights of women. When TV shows them I change channels. And some of them have ugly swings: DeChambeau, Rahm, Johnson etc

  14. The 3 Upcoming most Saddest Days of my Life is when these Golfing Gods are in Heaven. Each Masters we have with them as our Starters are Blessings

  16. I would love to see the three of them team up and play a best ball scramble. I bet they would shoot under par!

  17. A shame that Jack has tarnished his legacy by being a Trumpster. Used to have a lot of respect for him. What a disgrace.

  18. These 3 GIANTS of mankind…wish there were a LOT more like them…perhaps the world would be not so troubled.

  19. 3 True Legends , brings tears to my eye's watched the Master's Tournament with my dad for many years … brings back Amazing memories.
