Congratulations on the setup and your new relationship with PXG.
I was one of those that commented on the fitting- my thoughts / concerns was strictly on the fitting process and not Stuart per se. I’m sure he knows this stuff, but having had a fitting with Sam a few months back, I can safely say that my time with him was far more in-depth and insightful than what you went through in your driver fitting with Stuart.
That said- if you’re happy, we’re happy.

I believe I was one of the people asking for you to take that driver down to Sam and let him fit you.
Sam’s fitting is night and day to what you showed us as Stuart’s.
Likely because Stuart is retail and Sam is custom. Sam has the time to perfect your club, Stuart’s job is just to beat what you put in front of him…which he did 👍🏻
You have two video possibilities here… Sam fits your new PXG, maybe he improves it maybe he doesn’t?
Then, if it’s improved, go back to Stuart and take the Black Ops Challenge on a custom fit driver.

Happy for you getting these clubs. I have to agree they are awesome clubs, but even with a discount for being a veteran I cannot justify the costs. 🙁

What was swingweight of your driver, as I never saw fitter check swingweight in your driver fitting
Looking forward to seeing you play with that set. Not surprised that you settled on the 0317 CB. Those irons feel great. I've also been super happy with my PXG fairway woods and driver. I think you'll enjoy them and give James a run for his money.

Can tell you're not married with kids Gary…. I tried the "I need a new full set of proper fitted clubs so that I can get better" routine and was met with the response," if you can't improve with what you have then take up crocheting "…😔😔 wasn't quite the answer I wanted but they do look beautiful and if you can't beat James with them maybe we can both find a crochet club to join🤣🤣…. and the obvious icing on the cake, to get the sponsorship is quite a bonus, well done Gary and the end of new clubs🤔🤔🤔… we'll see lol…🌟🎊🤩🥳

First off congrats on the new clubs Gary, PXG are now up there with the very best in golf and the fitting options are 100% the best in the business especially the PXG hosel setting for an instant 3*.
My comments on the previous video still stand, Im sure Stuart is a great guy, but that is not a fitting its more like a demo day with sales pitch. I appreciate he was speaking more to the audience and assuming people might not understand anything to do with fitting, but when he makes comments basing fitting on swing speed and then says he swings 95 so not fast enough for ventus shafts……… He isnt exactly doing himself any favours is he?
Im not bashing Stuart, or being a Sams the best fitter guy either, but anyone can see with range balls, elevated hitting bay, no swing weight checks probably doesnt even have the machine, no grip options I dont class that as a fitting, doesnt matter who or where does it, that is not worth a penny to me and just very disappointing from PXG.

No excuse not to heat JR from now on. There is an absolute £ fortune in that bag. I would “take the heat” and put an iron cover on every 2nd club to stop clatter and damage.

Be interesting to hear the course feedback when you use them. End of the day, fittings are all very well but proof is in the pudding on the course if they play and feel nice.
