Just to shit on Phil’s take ,if Jayden Daniels is the best QB for a middling team wouldn’t it stand to reason he would be even better with a very good team ?

Franklin will not be good the patriots need to stop with the straight line speed guys if they are going WR at 34 I want them to take a more physical player like Xavier Legette or Malachi Corley or even Keon Coleman they don’t have a player like that and haven’t for quite a while

Here's the problem with Merrill's take. The quarterback position is too important so even if you'd feel better to get these guys in the second round, ITS NEVER GONNA HAPPEN!!!!!
Hodge has an agenda, simply that Maye has to start NOW. He offers no other scenarios . So who will listen to his big mouth.
Drake Maye all the way. JJ is Zach Wilson 2.0.
Williams is a diva. Daniels is RG3 at best if he's lucky. Maye has the most potential.
if maye goes to the patriots the patriots are screwed. they simply don't have the infrastructure to cultivate and exploit his ultimate potential.
You are better off trading the pick to the vikings so that they can take him and you take 2 of their first r picks this year and next year. and pick Joe Alt with this years pick. yo need to BUILD A FRIGGIN WALL that the QB can operate from behind. You are nowhere near operational. wasting that pick on a QB is stupid. You need to build an offense first for a QB to then slip into the controls. you are nowhere near ready.
