Here's the thing: "I can't believe he tried that throw" and "I can't believe he completed that throw" is okay in college. But that turns into "I can't believe he threw that interception" and "what the hell was he looking at" in the NFL…
Too many draft-able/ starter qbās to be moving up, with other critical starters needed this season. KOC will elevate any of the top 8 prospects into āCousinsā level or better. Use the 23rd overall pick for the qb. Trade back the 11, staying in top 20, getting back into the 2nd round and another 4th. Filling the qb, edge, and corner. Use the 3 4th rounders to move up for the wr 2/3 early day 2 pick.

The closer we get to the draft the more I want the Vikings not to trade up and just build a killer defense.

No unless he slides to 11. He has so much potential but it seems to fall apart if you draft a guy as your savior and he just ain't ready. Maye probably needs a year or 2.
"All these guys have their +es & their -es". Then (to me) it's a no-brainer. You draft the man that has won 61 out 65 (94%) of his games as a starter since H.S. Remember, CHANGE THE CULTURE.
Had to watch the UNC vs S Carolina to see what this guy is talking about. I have a sick kiddo at home and have the time this morning. Drake Maye makes 3 bad plays/throws in the entire game. One of which still turned out to be a 41 yard completion (he threw a little behind the guy or it would have been a TD). Otherwise, footwork is chunky, which is well known, but the arm talent and athleticism are undeniable. I saw a guy who needs a year on the bench to get coached up but definitely not getting anyone fired.

Itās funny, but I think I have to agree with Merrill on this one. There have been far too many quarterback classes that have been overhyped. I believe the quarterback position is more than just an arm or legs, to find the next, Tom Brady, Patrick Mahomes, or Brock Purdy! Thereās something different about those people! Finding that needle in a haystack. It could be rattler, that turns out to be the greatest quarterback of all time. Lol itās a crapshoot at best no matter what! But I definitely do not discard what he has to say.

Hereās just something is kind of funny to think about, Heisman Trophy, winning quarterbacks, have not actually done well in the NFL. The first two are coming off the board. Iām just saying.š
