  1. I have been working hard to stay connected. I’m 50 keep in mind and have treated my body like an amusement park ride! But! I shot 84 Saturday. Lowest so far.

  2. Spyglass is a must. Don't worry about playing up to the white tees. It will give you everything you want! Great course.
Make sure to walk around Carmel at night, and find a good Irish coffee

  3. The best explanation I've seen on the flying right elbow and keeping shaft from getting across the line at top

  4. Definitely something I’m working on every day. I fire my hips too fast most of the time not easy to quiet them down. Great video thanks

  5. Brady is going to just absolutely adore Monterey. Its somewhere between a fairy tale and a dream when it comes to town, food, and of course golf.

  6. Coach, typical question. But for the arms in front of body at all times, it applies… to the driver as well correct? 😂😂

  7. Outside of the usual pebble, Spanish bay, and spyglass, I recommend poppy hills and Del Monte (oldest golf course west of the Mississippi and great warm up for the rest of the trip).

Also great lesson. I got one of those tour striker balls to help with staying connected. It’s been a game changer. I’ve found the feel and swing thought that I think about now is keeping the arms and shoulders relaxed and letting the weight of the club swing around. Almost like pulling a hammer throw or something along those lines

  8. This might tighten up backswing too. That elbow flying out lets the arms run…. I would know.

  9. Great stuff as always. I have been struggling on how to consistently get the trail wrist into the "holding the tray look." I can see it on video on 50% of my shots and the downswing feels effortless. When i don't achieve that structure, I get stuck and have to manipulate the swing path. I loved the "feel of elbow underneath the hands" statement and drill. Great mental datapoint to reference if my rotation stalls. Appreciate you sir!

  10. Was watching video of my swing today and I have the flying right elbow going. Kind of like Nicklaus without his talent. Will definitely give this a go. Btw, I love the passion you show on your videos when talking about the golf swing. Isn’t it a great thing to be doing something for a living and absolutely loving it? 👍 🤘

  11. Why do i feel that i cant tuck my elbows mor inward due to my big tummy.

Like can you demonstrate (somehow) that the technique is possible for bigger tummys

  12. Great video and for your student I lived in the Monterey Bay/ Aptos for 7 years. I've lived in Sac area, Dana Point Four islands in Hawaii… Nothing in my opinion beats Monterey Bay. I belonged to the Dukes Membership which is from Del Monte course and is part of the Pebble beach company. If you are a member they used to, not sure now but you got 1/2 off Del Monte, Spyglass and Spanish Bay with as many people as you wanted to bring any day anytime. I'm sure there are more restrictions now.
    Pebble Beach
    Spyglass
    Spanish Bay
    Bayonet
    Blackhorse
    Quail Lodge
    Laguna Secca
    Pasatiempo
    Poppy Hills
    Carmel Valley Ranch
    Del Monte
    Seascape
And many more… what an incredible opportunity for you. In my line of work we did work for so many clients in the city of Pebble Beach, so many celeb homes, one of the nicest lady lived on the 18th fairway at Pebble. Infused to park at the 17th tee of Pebble and watch the golfers. 17 Mile Drive is one of my top 5 drives on the planet… Have fun!!!njoy! I used to play Spanish Bay monthly, spyglass 4 times a year and Pebble once a year

  13. I have struggled with early extension and I believe hands and arms getting in front seems to be a critical key in helping resolve that.

  14. I like to stand the club straight up so that it feels completely light like a feather as I take the club back and up which helps me keep my elbow in and gives me better hand speed on the way down. Just another way to feel what you are showing in the video which is very important. Thank you!

  15. This video conceptually for me clears up rotation/arms. The right elbow I realise is major for clubface. Six inches hips/six feet arms 👍🏻. Love the nod to Padraig, love him but need the detail. You are the detail. Gonna work this out in the wind and rain on Monday,

  16. i used to do a lot of foot work to "fire" hips while the club is moving up.its result in back pain and a sliced ball landing 90 degrees from the target.thank god i found you coach!thx a lot man!
