– I’m challenging four spectacular female players in a unique concept that’s the most exciting and innovative part of Major League Table Tennis. The Golden Game. You might already know about MLTT by now. MLTT is the first professional table tennis league in the United States. There are eight teams total in the league,

And each team must have at least one female player. In this video, I’ll be challenging four professional female players from the four teams of the East Division. First up, Angela Guan of Princeton Revolution. Born in San Jose, California. She’s a chopper and a U.S. Nationals Women’s Singles silver medalist.

The Queen of Sweden, Matilda Eckholm, plays for the Florida Crocs. Born in Linköping Sweden, Mati is a 17-time Swedish national champion. Her best world ranking was World #20. Emily Tan plays for the Chicago Wind. She represents the U.S. at the international level. Emily has won gold in the teams

At the Pan Am Youth Championships and just played for the U.S. national team at the Team World Champs in South Korea. Last but not least, Hong Lin of Carolina Gold Rush. She was born in China, played for the Shandong Provincial team and later moved to the U.S.

Man or woman, she’s currently ranked number four out of all the players in MLTT, and they’re all gonna play against me in a golden game. In a golden game, players must rotate every multiple of four points on the scoreboard. Because they’re all way stronger than me

And I’m the only player on my team, I’m gonna start this golden game with an 11-point lead. First team to get 21 points wins. Also, we’ll have coaches. Alex Young will coach all of them. He’s the coach of Carolina Gold Rush, the number one team across both divisions.

And on my side we’ve got 2001 U.S. Men’s Singles Champion and coach of the Chicago Wind, Eric Owens. So, without any further ado, let the games begin. Angela will serve the first point. Long Pips, sponge looks, what? One point… – Three? – Three. I was gonna guess three! 0 – 11.

This is the Golden Game! – Cho! Let’s go. First point! – [Adam] Since I started the game within an 11-point lead, Angela will only play one point, because the total on the scoreboard adds up to 12, which is a multiple of four. – I knew he would have trouble with your long pips!
