So I had the fortune of being a tailor made staffer for well over a decade and in that time I was able to play multiple sets of what I think is the best combo set ever made the 2011 2012 era of the mcmbs but many will say the current
Combo set is the best combo set Taylor Made has ever made what do you think do you go with the current one or are you going old school

Old school that was my first set of irons after my cheap irons my parents bought me to start golfing.. my first set came from Spencer Levine since I knew him and his family quite well
To be fair I didn’t play the old school but I game a full set of the most recent mbs and oh my do they feel good but I can’t vote unbiased
I would play the 11-12 MCs exclusively today if they were still available. God I miss them

I have to say, I’ve owned many sets of TM irons including several TP sets and would say my favorites of all-time are the ‘20 p7mc (better finishing than current version). I do believe in the new forging process, they’re stupid-consistent and soft… with a great shape and sole width. I’d combo with current MB by default. More interesting to me would be P7MC 5-p + P760 3-4 iron.
