Flicking forward as I hit now here’s the game this is what you need to be practicing standard setup with your most lofted Club no whacking the ball way back in your stance or leaning way forwards standard everything but what you need to do see my last Trace out

Many of you can be more fun and more proactive rather than trying to hit the exact positions that you’re try and hit rather than trying to get into whatever movement you’re trying to get into practicing range of movement is a far greater skill it’s actually the skill

For lots of people that defines them from being a better player to a worse player when I get better players getting them to find different ranges of movement is easier for them where lesser skilled players they’re so riddled with being lesser skilled that they don’t think that they can practice range of

Movements cuz they’re like thinking I need to get the right movement before I can practice the range of movement no I think for most of you actually practicing getting the range of movement is what is going to allow you to find a balanced playable medium so let’s break

Down what I’m doing most lofted Club not moving ball position as I take the club back I’m trying to bow my wrist down so get it into minuses on here and what that does is it hoods the face it takes the Loft off it twists the face in a way

That’s going to allow me to hit with less Loft because remember we’re trying to hit the lowest shot with the most lofty club and the more I do that with my wrist the lower it goes out look how low that’s gone out so we are plus seven at

The top minus 7 at impact so at the top I could be M way more bent back than that so I was kind of level plus Seven’s barely measurable popped up a little higher but I got the wrist working so it’ll pop at different heights subject to where I

Strike it on the face – 10 at the top to – 10 at impact allowing me to pop those balls out consider ably lower than if I do my regular one see how much higher that’s going now what does that mean for your shots now you

Need to grab your medium iron and you need to try and put those feelings that you’ve just found by playing a game where the object of the game is to move differently and put them into real shots so what I want you to do with your nine

Iron to kick it off or eight iron or seven iron this is like an eight iron it says nine on the bottom it’s more like an Aon um I’m going to do one like I did with the wedge there see how low it comes out watch the shape of shot that

Comes out you’re going to notice you start hitting different shapes because the way you manipulate the Loft will manipulate not only the launch but often the club path and the orientation of the face minus 22 into impact like properly trying to get that wrist going that way

So instantly my range of movement down at impact with this club is bigger it’s a little bit like speed testing when you train for Speed lots of people what you’re doing is you’re over speed training so you’re swinging like out of your boots out your boots out your boots

And then when you take that to the course your Baseline raises so let’s say I swing 100 mes hour but I swing way out of my boots like a crazy person for a few days get that swing speed up to say 1105 when I get out on the course it’ll

Probably settle down at 102 103 it’s faster and it’s the same with this if you can really push that range of movement when you’re safe on the practice area what you’re going to find when you get to the course is that you’ve got way better chance of actually settling in a better Club

Face control kind of manner so if you’re struggling with faces up to the sky cupping wrist those horrible kind of weak duffs and shots that just leak off to the right look at that one there 34 to start 14 at the top 15 down at the

Ball du if you can work in some of those ideas of hitting that wedge lower into your real swing that’s when you’re going to start seeing the penetration flight and the better distance from all your shots obviously this allows me to quantify it to show you if you want to

Quantify it make sure you use the code if you’re thinking about something like the hack motion sensor it’s so good for actually giving you a practice session which is delivering real numbers but if you don’t you can still do it by getting that wedge hitting it as low as possible
