This is a faultless way of how you can hit a draw every single time with driver like I wish I’d known this sooner as a junior growing up playing golf and even in my latter years because it happens every single time no matter who you are how long you’ve been playing or what

Level you are so let’s get into the five simple steps to allow you to hit a draw stage one of five we’ve got to understand it’s all relative to our Target line so play one Golf Club down here pointing directly where you want the ball to finish so directly down your

Ball to Target line and then Place Another golf club that is going out to the right only slightly but that is signifying what your club path is so there we’ve got our Target line and we’ve got our club path so we’re trying to make now and this is really really

Key we’re trying to make a club path that travels to the right of Target we want our face closed to our path have a look at this on player C here this is brilliant our face close to our path but not pointing left of our Target that is

What we together now are going to achieve so we’ve understood now we’re trying to swing to the right down this golf club have our club face close to that but not pointing left of Target and that way you’re going to achieve that curve just like look at this curve just like that

In the next four steps so next stage we’re going to sort out this club face and this is really important you do it this way we now know we want it close to our path so stage two let’s get this club face to our grip sorted so hold

Your Club up and have the toe nice and square and when you know it’s square if you’ve not got an offset driver the toe and the heel should short of be in one line then we’re going to slightly close that face and then place our hands on so

This is crazy right it looks really close and you know what it is and we might taper that down as you get better at this process but I’ve done that again I just closed it in I’ve moved the toe as I’m looking at from player cam slightly anticlockwise and then place my

Hands on so if you look at this here my grip is normal relative to me then look at it offset to the club face the club face is quite a bit closed now remember we we want to swing to the right with our club face closed we’re already

Setting up these impact factors as many as we can before we hit a shot so hold it up get it Square close it slightly place your hands on stage two done and dusted let’s move onto stage three now a lot of you Eagle ad viewers will notice

I am gaming Ping’s brand new g430 10K driver now get down in the comments is there any of the new drivers out in the market that you have your eyes on you know what it’s been cool to try some new gear this year and I’m really really

Enjoying this driver but enough about me what for you got your eyes set on for the season and you know what also if you’re just sticking with what you’ve got let me know also Down Below in the comments so stage three we’re going to keep our hands on the club as we’ve

Already done in stage two then just going to walk in and address our driver with our ball position for the moment inside our left heel when you do this you’ll realize that your Club face is pointing so far to the left of Target that is fine for now so stage number

Three you’re going to walk in address your Gulf ball and get your feet parallel to your ball to Target line we’re now going to move onto stage number four but before we do that I just want you to understand one thing it’s just this if we move the ball slightly

Back in our stance and aim to the right that helps us achieve a more into out path just look at this right if I stand Here extreme this put but but put the golf ball on my back right foot I would more likely swing on this Arc and I’ve

Done videos on this before and then if I place it too far forward there’s no wonder I slice across it so I just want you to understand there moving the ball slightly back and aiming slightly to the right will help you achieve a more into out club path which is swinging down

Down this line so stage four right but I’m going to do this from the top so we’re going to hold it up close it hands on AIM straight okay with our normal ball position stage four I want us to aim slightly down the right and move the

Ball back slightly in our stance so watch how I did that we’re going to start where we are Club face is aiming way left at the minute move the right foot back move it back in our stance now my club face is aiming in between where I’m swinging and my target I’m already

Presetting all these elements so now I’ve got a better chance of swinging to the right I’ve got my club face set I’m in a good position here can you see why I said this is faultless and can you see also why I said I wish I’d used this

Years ago and started implementing this and you’ll be saying the same thing so stage four we’re adjusting our aim and our ball position to help us achieve that inside path now stage five now at the minute I would say you’re lack a volume switch it’s either on full blast

And too much or not on at all but I want you to understand the element of hitting a draw we need that club face to close so what I say to my students is a fo after impact can I get that toe to start overtaking the heel because if it’s done

It there there will be an element of that happening through the shots have a look at that from player cam if we aimed for our toe to over overt take the heel somewhere in that vicinity and foot after impact would’ be in a good place

And that I would say to you as as as a golfer I’m doing an element of this I’m letting those Knuckles roll over I’m giving them the license just to go make that make that natural just do it like that it’s as easy as that let me show

You how I do this from the top it takes literally no longer than 5 Seconds up close down aim straight ball back aim right boom watch this draw look at this curving you’ve got to wait and see this on the screen in a minute curving back and just make a note

Of the distance I hardly hit that but I got it moving look at this curve boom that is a draw thanks so much for watching don’t forget to follow those five simple steps to allow you to hit a draw

  1. Alex, great video, I have been trying for a while to hit a draw. Can’t wait to try this. BTW: New driver for me: Cobra DarkSpeed X!!! Bill

  2. I’d like to hit a draw every time, BUT I’d prefer to hit my drives HIGHER
    … next video perhaps? 🤔

If I do these 5 steps, I find I hit my tee shots LOWER

    More good stuff, Alex
    (as always) 👍🏻

p.s. I’m fine with my Ping G400 driver. There’s a reason Ping didn’t come out with a new driver for two years. Can’t justify $600 for the G430 10K Max 🙄

  3. Wonderful video Alex. Will definitely be trying this technique at my next session on the simulator. I too recently purchased the new Ping 430 Max 10k and absolutely love it!!! I have always liked Ping drivers but the sound was a bit unbearable however this new club is much better sounding but the performance is superb. I've never had so much forgiveness on my drives before .Can't wait to bring out on the course when the weather here in the states improves.

  4. Perfect description Alex! Playing a second hand ping g400 and it’s a step up from my old driver for sure! Bet the new one is fantastic

  5. As a lefty I've been hooking the ball right really bad lately. A golfer from my last round advised me to turn my right wrist in more. I have to work at it more, but there was improvement

  6. Just finished watching your video on John Daly grip down. I quote you said. This has improved your game so much on getting good contact. Great video.
Then next video about creating a drawl you are not gripping down at all. Your hands are back to normal position. Please explain. Is it better or not to grip down.

  7. Standard instruction for creating a draw or getting rid of a slice . Doesnt work , generic nonsense .
Every players different and that difference comes out when the big stick comes out , you cannot close the face and swing out if your mind doesnt see it .
I actually think its rude to peddle this rubbish .
I fixed my driver swing in one day on my own at the range once i decided to stop following this approach and these rules .
The cause and correction of YOUR swing issues lies in YOUR takeaway , find the way back that brings you forward with your hands and wrists functioning correctly ( neutral or closed – not open ) be it high , low , inside or outside ( usually low and inside but 🤷🏻‍♂️) and your worries will vanish .
Or you can try this totally unnatural manipulation technique on the video for a few years . Enjoy the duck hooks , pulls and pushfades 😂

  8. Alex- Great point. This is how I learned to play golf many years ago. I was told it would give me more extension through the ball. The other thing I might add, that I do. Is try to keep my back to the target as long as possible. With my right arm going under like I’m skipping a rock across the water. To me this stops over the top moves, and swinging across the ball, that creates the dreaded “slice”!!!!! Golfers will find the get more distance because this creates over spin, where a slice creates back spin.😊 Watch the NFL place kickers now kicking 60 yard field goals. Same principle. More extension, and they hook the ball as well…

  9. I am in Ping woods now and may look at an upgrade to the 10k. My issue is my driver is only 20yrds further than my 3wood and I hit more fairways with my 3.

  10. Excellent 5 stage explanation Alex on how to hit a draw. I am always setting up for an in to out swing, so I have no difficulty in hitting draws. Once in awhile, if I don't get the "knuckle roll" the ball will stay to the right. Well Done Alex! Keep up the good work!!!

  11. Does this process remain the same if you have a draw biased driver.. I.e. Do you still close the head slightly with a draw biased driver

  12. I still have a x2 hot callaway driver. Do you think I should upgrade? I drive the ball usually between 250 and 270. I have a natural fade shot working to try to draw the ball sometimes. I like my fade shot though. Like your simple instruction video.

  13. Have been wondering about this for a while, can't wait for tomorrow. But, with gripping down as you suggested in another video, would the ball need to be a little FURTHER back than suggested in THIS video???

  14. Awesome setup and video!! Thanks for sharing. May I know which projector you’re having and the screen size? Plan to build a room lately.
