13 handicap, hoping to get to the single digits this year, I’m aware most of the improvement needs to be around the green but I’m open to any swing tips too!

Thoughts?

Fundamentally your swing is awful, but if you’re a 13 it obviously works for you. You’re better off just dancing with the date you brought than trying to make major changes which will probably ruin your swing for a long time. Just work on your short game and putting, practice greens are free

Your swing is way too long, shorten it. At the top position you have turned so much your arms are collapsing around yourself and your right arm angle is thrown away. The irony is that this feels strong but losing that angle is a big power leak. Not to mention consistency and ball striking suffer as well.

Your hips don’t turn nearly enough to justify that arm swing. Shorten it down to a feeling of your left arm being parallel to the ground.

You are early extending on the down swing maybe as a result of your poor top position.. but I’d worry about that later. Get that top position under control and you will get a big bump in ball striking. Fix the other problems from the shorter swing. Much easier.

You have early wrist hinge that looks “stiff”. Don’t set your wrists until your club is past parallel to the ground on the back swing. Use your wrist like snaping a towel or skipping a rock.

Setup is pretty good, although that trail hand looks too under the club for my taste. Takeaway is very bad. Focus on one piece takeaway. Quit disconnecting the lead arm from your body.

How far did you hit that drive? If you can do that consistently and hit at least 240/250 then you’ll be fine. Your swing has many aspects that could lead to consistency issues, but If it’s working for you and is repeatable then keep it going. If you’re trying to achieve scratch then you’ll need to change some aspects but for that I’d get a coach.
