Hey golfers I’m Drew molder second Swing Golf here at the PGA show in Orlando and joined by Eddie dry here at the Cleveland Booth um Eddie first of all thanks for the time um a lot of exciting things from Cleveland this year we got some long game things we already talked

About now we’ve got wedges which is kind of Cleveland’s sort of trademark I think uh for the longest time wedges and they’ve been a leader in in that department for a long long time uh the smart Soul fullface wedges here so this is kind of a unique product I think in a

Sense that you know and historically wedges haven’t been super forgiving but I think Cleveland’s really changed the game by adding the smart Soul product and now you got smart Soul full face so talk to me about that well this started as a product for people that were used

To put had no short game and and and we use Putters from 20 yards out right but instead of that you know sometimes you hit a putter a long putt off the green it you don’t know where it goes It goes off the toe yeah so we started with the

Chipper and this year we’ve relaunched it and and it you’ll notice the grooves it’s called full face because grooves go all the way across MH and so no matter where you are you’re going to get a Groove the grooves are deep and so in instead of a putter use the chipper and

Then they it we follow with a gap and a sand wedge and the sand wedges help people get out I mean you can tell how forgiving it is it’s 58° so this is full face also but the new addition to the smart Souls is the

Lob W and if you can if you have trouble getting out of deep bunkers I mean this actually we tested it everything but it’s 64° wow but you don’t care it is so big windes acrossed it there’s so much forgiveness look at the soul has a

Double sole on it and it works so well Works off Turf our reps were shocked as as they hit this thing and every shot seemed to be perfect it sounded good and that’s they didn’t expect that right I think I it it’s it’s crazy I’ve Got The

Sand Wedge here but I can just see how much weight is sort of kind of low and sort of like it’s almost getting the weight underneath the golf ball and that in turn makes it easy to launch in the air so there’s so much there’s so much

Technology that packed in to that part and then of course you mentioned the the grooves the you know Cleveland’s wedge grooves Al zip grooves uh very consistent also making sure to get that interaction with the golf ball to provide that and these are deep zip

Grooves but they go all the way out and then but through this set last time but we added the law because you’re going to find yourself in be lies around the green youve got to hit it you got to get it up and hope you can stop it y you’re

Going to be in rough it’s deep and when you get in rough and you’ve got to hit it out you got to take a full swing but you need Loft yeah if you don’t you’ll never get it out of the Loft you won’t get launch on that and um this I can’t

Wait to go put this in my might have to steal this one actually yeah yeah just sneak out of here yeah we we really improved the smart line one last thing I want to talk about was shafts here so it looks like graphite shafts in here different kind of models throughout yeah

Um what you know so the are these kind of designed for players that might need a little more speed because they are kind of a little more lighter weight they are they are lighter maybe at your quote unquote traditional wedge yeah yeah you could yeah probably

So you can get steel or but all lightweight still okay but with the graphite but you’re going to feel the head yeah right you’re going to feel the head come down be able to control it and instead of choppy swings or decelerating you can just go ahead close your mind up

And just just go ahead and hit it and follow through and let TR let the club do the work let the head do the work exactly exactly full face head yeah do the full face the entire face has the grooves to help you so uh the Cleveland
