Right golf shop on liners let’s take a look at the new s159 wedges from Ping golf ping have been making some pretty good wedges for a long time they go a little bit under the radar in the wedge world but they do do some amazing things

So first thing I love about the ping wedges is you get these kind of longer grips allowing you to move down the grip a little bit more if you want to shorten it and feel that kind of more control and the grip doesn’t really taper that

Much I love that with their wedges it’s again something that they don’t really get enough recognition for I think it’s just really clever in their wedges this is a cast carbon steel giv a very soft beautiful wedge kind of that real classic wedge feel as well as looks nice

Slim rounded top lines beautiful finishes on these clubs improved huzzle transition they’re saying which is making it look really nice putting the weight in the right place you can see the two finishes I’ve got in my hand as well in this dark and in this chrome finish they both look Super Fly hyro

Pearl on these wedges as well allowing you to try and maintain spin in different conditions so when the ball gets some moisture on it or there’s some moisture on the ground the hydrop Pearl is going to do its best to try and retain that spin which gives you more

Control of distance a little bit of stopping power but think of it more as your distance control is going to be very consistent and that’s what is needed when it comes to good wedge play micro Max grooves they’re going to give you the highest concentration of spin

That you’re allowed on these kind of clubs the groove pattern changes subject to The Loft as well and make make sure you maximize out what you’re getting say from a 50° up to some more lofted 58 Dee wedge here and they come with a consistent offset meaning they are going

To really blend with any of the other ping kind of player set so it’s a beautiful looking great feeling High performing wedge in a few different or two different color options or finishes with lots of Bounce and grind variations as well there’ll be something in there for every wedge player ping wedges

Something you would game or not absolutely fly under the radar because they do provide a lot of features

  1. Yes totally agree, longer grips are great, good coating for performance in the wet and the EYE2 design is great out of bunkers.
