Was living on Saudi Arabia time the last 3 days days woo no I’m not going to live on Hong Kong time later this week that’s I don’t think I can do that I can’t live in East Coast Time cover Saudi time and live in Saudi time and then live in Hong
Kong time while I currently live in uh the east coast of the USA it’s just too crazy my family can only handle so much anyways it was a good time but I don’t know if you spur me along enough I might just do it but I’m not just going to be
An Anthony Kim channel that was his once his return so we’ll cover live as best we can because I do think it’s an exciting platform now today we’re talking about Rory maroy and a lot of people have been talking about his potential leaving the PGA Tour and going
To live and I do believe he is leaving the PGA Tour is he going to live now 9950 million is a difficult thing to turn down but in all honesty I don’t believe he would go to live I do believe though he is going to leave the PGA Tour
But the reason I don’t think he’s going to go to live is although that’s a lot of money to turn down and I don’t know how you do that that’s a lot and I don’t think there’s any like political reasons or uh social reasons why he wouldn’t go
To live I think he wanted there to be one tour One World Tour and he was for that and the fact that Liv came and they did what they did initially Rory made a lot of comments anti- live comments which he since kind of you know rewinded
And given other uh other responses that made it seem like oh he was a little more open to the idea and that’s why a lot of people are saying that he would potentially go to live and I do believe Liv has offered him a huge amount of
Money but I don’t think he’s going to go and here’s why I believe Rory he wants to be the Top Dog on the tour whether it’s PJ or Liv and I he wouldn’t be go you know he wouldn’t go to live and be the top dog though he might be
The top player but now that they have Rah and cam Smith and walking Neiman’s playing better than anybody in the world right now so I’m glad he’s in the Masters but I don’t necessarily think Rory would go there and be Numero Uno he wouldn’t be the captain of the ship I
Think that would be John ROM really and Dustin Johnson and Walken nean and C there’s a lot of other guys that I think would steal the spotlight more so than Rory and on the PGA tour side you would think that Rory is the top dog but he’s
Not the top dog is still Tiger Woods and you think about this over the years the PGA Tour has never ever ever let a competing tour or anything of that nature come around they’ve squashed everything except the tgl that’s tiger League Tiger Golf League The Golf League
Whatever you want to call it the tgl that League where Tiger’s going to have like this indoor studio and you hit shots to a screen giant screen remember that it was supposed to launch this year and it imploded and collapsed and mysteriously collapsed ironically at a convenient time and yeah a lot of
Conspiracy theories around that but nonetheless it’s still potentially coming back around so but that’s T so why would the PGA Tour let tiger start a league that could potentially be a threat to the PGA tour right it could ultimately what if it got more views on those that tgl League than Sunday PGA
Tour event see that’s it could then all of a sudden it could grow and Blossom into a competing League to be more popular than the PGA Tour especially since a lot of PGA Tour guys are bouncing out to live and have done that so they’ve the tour PJ tour has allowed
Tiger to do this when they’ve never let anybody do anything like to even play like in some charity events you have to get permission from the PGA Tour to make sure that like these events don’t conflict with your obligations to the tour and the tour schedule it since
Relaxed a little bit with the emergence of live golf but either way they still have been very very tough on anything that would potentially compete with them so they’ve let tiger do this and Rory currently is a part of that the problem is is Rory in my
Opinion wants to be the top dog he wants to be the alpha he wants to be he wants to have his own thing everybody does right Tiger has his own thing live golf these guys that go over there they all get their own thing they all get their
Own team so they live could offer Rory his own team but then it would kind of be like Rory is accepting defeat and saying all right fine yeah you get a ton of money going over there but you’re kind of accepting defeat going over to let’s say the enemy in many people’s eyes
Cashing in and your so-called Legacy is Tainted by the let’s say older golf esta not older people but that just old golf mindset that mentality that hey this is the establishment and if you go over there you’re forever tainted on this side and Legacy and so I don’t think
Rory is going to say I accept that and I’m going to live with that but I do think he’s going to do this which would kind of accomplish all his goals of being the alpha being number one be or having his own thing and keeping his
Legacy and that would be this I believe Rory’s leaving the PGA Tour and is going to take up full residency full-time residency on the DP World Tour and help the DP world tour be exactly what it says a world tour and him going over there wouldn’t necessarily be anti-
Anything how can you beat the guy up for going back to let’s say his roots his Heritage his homeland and taking res residency and being the guy on the DP World Tour sources have told me that this is something that is being serious ly considered by Camp Rory maroy and
It’s sounding more and more like a legitimate you know idea possibility that it’s really going to be something that he seriously considers and we might see Rory fulltime DP World Tour and then it’s kind of the that would be the Rory tour and then the PGA Tour would be left
Going okay in search of the new up and Rising person because let’s face it Liv has stolen the characters the personalities let’s say and the PGA Tour although these personalities birthed on the PGA tour they’re now gone Rah DJ Mickelson cam Smith not really but they’re getting personalities over there
Anthony Kim he’s a personality he had a aura a Myst about him the only person on the PGA tour right now with that is is Tiger but he’s not playing that much so we don’t get to see him very often so who’s the the personality Ricky Fowler yeah but again
He’s not always up there but he’s the one with the Charisma and the personality that we’re looking for but it’s not happening week in and week out so Rory I think is not going to be the flag bearer carry the torch for the PGA Tour anymore he’s going to

I like your take and DP tour is my current favourite to watch as it really is a world tour. I also love watching LIV as it is not every weekend they have the current deepest talent pool. But when DP tour has Rory and other top players playing it’s the tops

DP world tour should join LIV an create the World Tour, and then, the PGA would become the USA tour : ).
The winners in all of this are the Golf Fans. I love having a choice on who to watch. Some of the battles with well known name recognizable players on LIVGolf are very entertaining to watch. And on the PGATour new players trying to make it. As a viewer you can't lose.

im a absolutely huge golf fan and have been for many years being an avid golfer myself and these days to me the best excitement on tv to watch is the lpga tour..i hardly ever watch any of the others they just dont have the excitement anymore they use do and especially without tiger..it kinda sucks but thank god for the lpga now and i never thought i would ever say that
Bottom line the answer to this. Phil micklson was the smartest of them all. He’s always been a controversial figure. He’s always been a top tier athlete. Just because you have more majors according to the “pga” doesn’t make you gold. Like tiger. Phil possesses way more talent and we all all know that. But the fact is. Phil is also a smart business man and seen where the game was going. Tiger was just hanging on to what MR. earl said “you could do this if you’re a good enough”. And now look. His son follows the same suit. Atleast Phil is making an impact. Come out. Come have fun. Come compete. Come play. Fuck pga. They’re gonna bend just like the twin towers did over oil money. The PGA Tour has been hard to get behind this year. No big names up top at any of the recent tournaments. LIV would be better if it had network coverage and was more accessible.

Current LIV hierarchy; Phil, Dustin, Rahm, Bryson, Jaoqiun… Rory will join LIV very soon, but first he must bend the knee to the players he mocked and disrespected!
Rory will go to liv after the masters as will hideki , schauffele and victory Holland. This will spell the end of the pga tour , and I'll be able to save some money by cancelling all my golf subscriptions as exhibitions matches don't interest me.
It doesn’t matter if Rory leaves, I personally hate the LIV format, it’s not real traditional professional golf, it’s bu??shit and it’s weak

Rory leaving the PGA would near shatter the organization, i think they've done to little to late, however, i do agree he could bring a lot of money and sponsors to the DP, which will rival the PGA. We'll see I guess
To answer your question, he will either go to the DP tour or LIV. He sounds done with the PGA Tour as it exists now. I think you are correct in that he would have a much higher standing in Europe than at LIV.
When was the last event that Rory won on the PGA? He should go to LIV, might have a chance on the almost senior tour.
Rory has been my absolute favorite golfer for years and I would hate to see him go to liv. I just want the old pga back where it isn’t so political all the time
Similar to other comments, Rory is moving to London. If he plays the DPW full time, his status would mean exemptions to all Majors. That works.
I was very fortunate enough to see most of the great modern era golfers in my lifetime. In person I have watched them play; Hogan, Snead, Player, Watson, Palmer, Michelson, Trevino, Nicklaus and Tiger. I enjoyed many hundreds of hours of watching the PGA Tour on television over the years and saw many great matches won and lost by the famous players. Unfortunately that time has come and gone now thanks to Greg Norman and the Saudis. Golf now has become only anout the money and not the thrill of competition. I'm more invested now in some of the YouTube golf personalities and enjoy watching them occasionally. Now I'm saying goodbye to the PGA Tour…..Thanks for the memories.

I was so against LIV in the beginning. I ❤ the PGA and what it stood for. The legacies, the money for charity and the history. But they really have screwed the pooch in the last couple years. Using players, thinking they could punish players into staying and sticking to their guns. Then eventually taking money from the Saudi’s in the end. Whatever. They should have just let players play where and when they wanted from the beginning.

There’s not a sports league on the planet that can compete financially with the Saudi PIF. I think people forget that. The PGA Tour (specifically Jay) could’ve stuck by their guns and weathered the storm, but they folded and now it’s every man for themselves.
If Rory leaves I might actually watch a LIV event. Ehh probably not never mind.
The PGA Tour found out that Saudi Arabia isn’t broke like America. They can buy anything they want. PGA Tour got in business with the wrong companies and now it’s gonna cost them everything. Woke and broke isn’t a punch line, it’s a reality that they are facing.

Life is short, and opportunities knock only once in your life. The key is knowing what that opportunity looks like. Rory needs to leave PGA and get recognized in LIV for his true value. Forget about what Tiger says. Tiger is jealous.
LIV is the future. It is pushing golf into the modern era which I think is needed, especially to get younger audiences into the game. The format, quality, and commentating is all better on LIV. As an example, the shotgun start is so much better on the player side because everyone starts at the same time in the same conditions. I personally know a lot of people associated with the PGA: players, caddies, etc. and they have all said they don’t mind the PGA failing and LIV taking control. Personally I agree with them when you look into really what the PGA does behind doors.
Roy might go to DP but he will stick around with PGA for majors especially for the Green Jacket and the sandwiches.
They all need to work this stuff out. When will a new agreement come out? At least have all the top players against each other 15-20 times a year
Love the discussion here MSG. I love golf and have followed the PGA for a long time. All of the hate for LIV from the PGA has soured my outlook towards the main tour somewhat. I'm not completely sold on LIV but I'm coming around. Unfortunately there's always going to be haters no matter what happens at this point. I love the four Majors and feel that is the main draw for the tour. There are a few other tournaments I enjoy but that also depends on who's playing. People can say what they want but LIV bringing in more top talent will bring in fans. I'm still in the AK camp too, no he didn't play great, but it was good to see him playing again. If Rory does leave for the DP world tour others will follow. Now with all that being said, I can honestly say most of my golf is viewed right here on youtube. There are many channels that I watch weekly and the content keeps getting better and better! The MSG channel is one of them! Thanks for sharing your thoughts and creating great videos!
