Welcome to my new series where I’m going to be showing you how you can improve your games during the winter months in a cold weather climate you see it’s snowed here today but that doesn’t mean I can’t still work on my game and I’m going to

Show you how to do the same when the weather permits I’ll be playing some local tracks and taking you along with me but I’m also going to show you how you can improve your game indoors you can work on your long game your short game and your putting game you can work

On your mental game I’ll be going to some local indoor facilities showing you how to navigate a simulator and helping you to improve during the off seon you know those the golfers that are seasonal golfers do have a slight advantage in that you get to do this during the

Winter months you get a chance to work on fundamentals and build some skills now I know everybody loves to play the game but sometimes playing the game can be a bit of a distraction and take you away from working on your skills and improving your game so come along for

The ride with me and I’m going to show you how to navigate your game during the winter months and come out in the spring and be a better golfer there was a break in the weather so I got out and played a small nine-hole City track a par 33 with six

Par fours and three par 3s the conditions were soft and wet but definitely playable I give the experience a 6.8 out of 10 and would definitely play this course again if I needed to play a quick nine-hole round so as not to impede with the pace of

Play I started filming on the fourth hole and was even par through three

  1. Nice to see you on the course putting it into action. Haven't at all got this down yet, but I did hit the best 8 iron I can remember at the range last week. Also, last June I made my first ace on a 150 yard shot by incorporating the stillness idea, although I wasn't lined up at 45 degrees.

  2. I work on balance and flexibility in the gym. I’ve increased my swing speed through that. I also work on strength, but balance, stability and flexibility are key No real change from your method. The ball does travel further.

  3. Hi Jim! Just wanted to let you know that my game is coming along great! I’ve gotten lots of compliments on my smooth swing by fellow club members. Just like strumming that G chord on the guitar. 😉Got rid of that slice with the driver and it’s traveling 285 +/-. Hope you, your family and dogs are well? Jody R.
