These are a new gadget. Aerator strap on shoes. They will aerate your grass yard. The shoes have long metal spikes attached to them that will poke holes in your yard and thicken your grass. Normally this is done with a machine that pulls up plugs of dirt and grass. That might cost $150-$250. These shoes cost around $20-$35.
You need to assembly all the spokes, nuts and strapes yourself. Then you strap the shoes over your existing shoes and just walk around your yard.
Assembly was fairly straight forward, but the straps were a bit complicated and adjusting to your shoe size was difficult to get right.
Walking the yard was allot of work. The more holes, the better and you need to take small steps to cover more area with holes. This is a work out for sure. I will have to wait till Spring time to see if I noticed any difference. The straps tore apart after my first use. You can see in the video what happen.
